Match.com a waste of time and money

I tried Match.com and you know what. That site is actually a comic strip. Most of the women listed on this site are fake and not for real. And for those who may be real, they either look like 200 pounds of chewed up bubble gum, or they would scare away ghosts. So I have to laugh when I went through the listings on this site. I also found several listings that I was easily able to point out as fakes and frauds, which I reported to Match.com and they promptly investigated and found me to be accurate and removed the clients. So, what I recommend folks is that you stay away from dating sites. They are a treasure trove of falseness, fakes, and scammers that you can do without. If you want to meet someone, do it the old fashion way... get off the couch and go out and meet someone.

I'm beginning to think the same way except that it's the men that are all looking to either just hookup or think they're too good for the average (real) woman and waiting for a super model. They "view" you but then don't message you. They "like" you but don't say hello. It's like being at a high school dance where all the guys are lined up on one wall and all the girls are lined up on the opposite wall, everyone just "looking" at each other. I honestly expected more from Match and from the age group I'm in (over 50). I'm really over it.

I agree with P2. I'm a newer member, female over 50, and the men on this site are a joke. I get plenty of likes but then nothing happens. I message them and get no reply, or a one word reply, like hello. That's it. Nothing after that. Even when they message first and I respond, either nothing else after or one or two word answers. Why message me at all if you're not going to respond? Also I'm a little overweight but still attractive and healthy. I like guys with a little meat on their bones and I've liked them and hear nothing. Guys that weigh 300 pounds view me and skip me. Most of these men on here want a VS model and have very unrealistic expectations. I won't renew. I'm glad I checked it out, but I'm better of by myself.
