I couldnt agree more. And on top of that there is no regulation or oversight. What business would you blindly give your money to with no way of accessing customer service? If you paid for a service and the provider said you violated are agreement with no explanation and kept the remaining money for services NOT rendered you would get your money back..not with on line dating.

The mob is more honest and up front then match, bumble, etc... PoF will shut down your account with no explanation. OKC same, Tinder, same..guess what? They are all owned by match.

And now the new game is catering to women claiming men have some unfair advantage. BS..its an easy way to make even more money.

95% of these on line dating services would be cited for fraud in any other business practice but not here as most of them are operating out of other countries and hiding behind shell or holding corporations.

Ok Cupid is one of the worst. Not only do they have a 17 to 1 ratio of men to women by their own records (which means its probably higher) they are selling your data just like facebook did to research firms without your consent. All those cute or silly questions are not to match you up with your dream date but to fill in the gaps on some companies research. And then they play the little game that someone is interested in you. What that means is somebody looked at your profile. They spin that in to making it seem you have a real love interest but if you want to know who you have to pay. Plus eliminating any idea of who you have messaged unless they respond is BS. And last but not least they use automatic reporting systems so if you have a couple women or in many cases fake scammer profiles reporting you just because they dont like you your profile gets deleted and you have no recourse.

Lets pray that facebook gets involved because at least they have to answer to the public because of their high profile in data mining and personal thefts. Until then these companies will keep ripping off men who in most cases are simply trying to meet a nice women without getting sued or ripped off.
