I'm 53 and have been on Match.com for one-to-three months stints over the past several years (two serious relationships, about 10 selective dates per stint), Chemistry.com for a month or so - years ago, OkCupid for the past month, and OurTime for the past 10 days. I'm very young-looking, highly educated, and well-spoken. I've received almost 200 e-mails, dozens of "Flirts", and dozens of "I Like Your Photo" or "Favorite" notations. The sheer bombardment made me more wary than flattered. I felt about 30 messages to me warranted a response, with only two of those men seeming psychologically grounded with high emotional intelligence - and matched in terms of physical attractiveness; one those men was way too far and not a good vocational match. But one of those men was a 50-yr-old "newbie" transfer from SeniorPeopleMeet apparently, unbeknownst to him. Like me, he (independently decided that he) is only staying on this site for one month, as we already paid; we are busy people, and this site was too much sifting for too little return! That being said, the two of us went on one date and hit it off INCREDIBLY well - two days ago - and could very well be together for a very long time. So, if you do the math: for me, less than 1% of the men was a genuine possible match. But I'm picky . . . and I look 20-40 yrs-old. I found OkCupid to have more discerning - as well as overall attractive and less desperate-seeming - men . . . and it's FREE! fyi: Match has been less popular for the last year or so; Zoosk won't use Comcast e-mail addresses, so I haven't gone onto that site. GOOD LUCK . . . you'll need that, perseverance, optimism, radar, time, and well-honed judgement!

I have been on our time for several month, I have meet a lot of nice guys however the old tune I was married for 25 years and that is all they want to talk about or their affairs (as they took a break things were not going well in the marriage). Our time took down my photo said they were revamp site and it was not the correct size gave them a new one and it still is not up. Getting off this month. What happen to just meeting someone naturally.
