I received an email from Perfectmatch.com advertising a free search and communication weekend starting Friday, February 19th, 2010 to Monday, February 22nd, 2010. Looking on the dating sites homepage though, there is no mention of this promotion. This is a little strange but, I did log into Perfectmatch with my old account and was greeted with a banner advertising the free weekend on the member's homepage. I was also able to communicate with members.

So it looks like that this promotion is only available to existing members. Too bad new members couldn't have a go at it. eHarmony was the first dating site to offer this type of free weekend promotion a couple of years ago and just last year Chemistry followed suit. This is the first time I have heard of PerfectMatch doing this.

Compatible Partners is having a free communication weekend (FCW) this Valentine's Day which we almost missed. It starts today, Thursday February 11, 2010 and runs to Monday February 15, 2010. This full 5 day promotion allows new and existing members to try out Compatible Partners to see if this online dating site is the right fit for you, and all without a Credit Card. You will be able to review your same-sex matches as well as communicate for them at no cost. The only things for which we are aware of that are not included, is the ability to FastTrack the communication process and viewing members photos.

This is the second FCW we have tracked for Compatible Partners with the last one starting at the end of December (see Story).

Just in time for Valentine's Day, eHarmony here in the United States and Canada is planning to have their 23rd free communication weekend (FCW) starting Thursday February 11th, 2010 to Monday February 15th, 2010.

During this 5 day eHarmony free communication weekend, all members will be able to review matches and to communicate with these matches for no cost. The month of February and especially around Valentine's Day is when dating sites are the busiest. This means if you haven't tried eHarmony yet, this is your best chance to see how it works and what type of matches they have in your area. As with previous FCWs, members will not be able to FastTrack the guided communication process. Member's photos also are also not viewable for this promotion.

Update: I see that the Australian eHarmony dating site is having a FCW as well but it runs from Friday Feb.12th to Feb. 15th.

This coming weekend at Chemistry.com they will be offering all members the ability to communicate for free. This means starting Friday Feb. 5th, 2010 to Sunday, Feb. 7th, 2010 new and existing members will be able to email the matches Chemistry sends them for no cost.

eHarmony Australia is having a Free Communication Weekend starting this Thursday, December 31st, 2009 to Sunday, January 3rd, 2010. For some reason it is a day shorter than the North American event (see Story) but it still offers the same great value. All eHarmony members can review their matches and communicate with them for free during this 4 day event. No credit card is required.

The last eHarmony Australia free communication weekend was held at the beginning of October (see Story). By our count this is eHarmony Australia's 3rd event.
