Pof is near useless as a dating site. It's set up that way intentional to maximize ad revenue, well beyond the point of usability.

Pof is more of a scam then anything else.

Myself, I don't understand why guys would be interested in meeting women that are dating a bunch of different guys at the same time anyway. That's not exactly what guys look foir in a woman.

Well, I understand why guys use the site under those circumstances ... doesn't take a genius to figure that out.

What I don't understand is why women, use the site, if they are actually looking for a relationship. A woman would have to be quite awesome to pull in a decent guy under that scenario.

At best pof should be considered nothing more than a low end social network, mostly for play.

At worst, it's just a hookup site ... and that's what pof effectively equates to.

The right mindset to use for pof, or at least a mindset, not necessarily right is:

You're a guy interested in sleeping with a bunch of different women who themselves are sleeping with a bunch of different guys. If you happen to run into someone you want to keep ... which seems unlikely ... I guess that's not so bad.

Keep in mind, most women are not naive enough to believe pof is anything other than that ... so expect their expectations to be higher than normal, as that makes sense under that scenario. Woman who are primarily just looking for sex, as that seems like the only benefit of using the site, are certainly going to want the best man prop they can get.

To me pof just seems like a free manw_hore service for women. Given that it's free, I'm pretty sure the service not that great ... so you can expect a lot of pi$$ed women there as well.

However if you're a younger guy OK with older women, pof is pretty easy pickings.

You shouldn't interpret the above as a negative comment toward women on the site ... I'm sure they all fine, in their normal life. But while on pof, they have clearly going through some sort of "change".

But it's not such a bad deal afterall. Women get to pick out a few playmates as they please to fit their schedule. AND men, who are at least 7/10 (looks/height/money) get the occasional release without much effort.

I think of it as a public service. Though they should rename the site to FMW ... free manw_hores ... satisfaction not guaranteed .. use at own risk.

You can meet desirable women using the site, if you put in the effort, and play the game irght. But you won't meet women there that haven't become quickly tainted by the many amatuer players that rome the site.

You can also extinguish a candle from 20 feet away by throwing beer caps at it. If will work, eventually, but it's not really a good plan.

There are a high number of desirable women on the site who have children. If you're a guy with kids looking for the same, it's not so bad. I say it's worth a decent effort in that case. I don't have kids, so it's not my thing.
