The Point??

POF is just a large collection of women trying to get guys that are out of their league. While the site isn't explicitly a sex site, it may as well be as that's the only viable outcome under those conditions. Whether that's a good thing or not, depends on the user, I guess. Lots of guys willing to date down for sex. Unfortunately, these guys are certainly not the creme of the crop. So, while women may think they hooked the a guy out of their league, all they really did was hook a guy that decent women wouldn't actually want. Funny how that works.

POF isn't a site for decent guys looking for decent women with relationships in mind. It's a site for women who believe they are more than what they are, grasping at straws to protect their self image before the ultimate realization kicks in. Vanity searching for validation.

The small percentage of women on the site that don't fit the above characterization are near impossible to get to because they are buried behind it all. Add to that the number of guys with significantly embellished profiles on the site and decent guys are essentially blocked or locked out.

POF is a pointless exercise in futility unless your just looking for sex. AND there are far safer ways of doing that, if that's all your looking for.
