Alt.com or Collarme.com

Wants to Dabble

I am interested in finding a BDSM community site to look for a Dominatrix and the 2 I found are ALT (which I assume stands for Alternate) and Collarme.

Alt looks much more the professional site with the fancy graphics and mainstream layout. It also is mentioned a lot more on the internet. With the free account I joined with though I am worried that all I will find is those "Cam" sites that just want you to spend money.

The other one, Collarme seems to be (how can I say this) a site run by people who live the life. The members look real to me and the forum they have is loaded with interesting conservation by members that I can tell are real.

I seem to be answering my own question here but which site do all of you suggest I spend my time on trying to find someone? Right now Collarme seems to be the one I am leaning towards.

I have used ALT in the past. It is like the other adult Friendfinder dating sites... only okay.

I haven't tried the other one you mentioned but you will get responses on ALT but you do have to work at it and filter out all of the spam you get from companies wanting you to join other adult sites. I am not sure why ALT doesn't filter this stuff out because it must be taking away a lot of their business.

Alt.com is full of prostitutes and model scammers. Do not waste your money joining as a silver or gold member

Try FetLife. It's not the fanciest website but I've been connected with a bunch of good people.

Over the years I have abandoned everything except fetlife.com. In fact, if I encounter somebody on another service and they don't have a free fetlife account or refuse to get me I usually walk away from them. fetlife.com has an indentity verification process that is safe for everyone and if people refuse to use it you have to wonder. Like everything else these days, all of these services seem to becoming gateways to pay-per-view OF sites, etc. They would do better if they blcoked any reference to those other sites.

okay
Old thread, but just in case someone is still reading this:

Collarme.com is long dead, replaced by collarspace.com, which is a complete waste of time.

However you can try the new Collarme.site which is upcoming and honest about their approach. I like it and recommend it.

Alt does have that sleek, professional vibe, but sometimes, those flashy graphics can be a smokescreen for hidden costs. Collarme seems like it's got that down-to-earth feel, with real people sharing real experiences. Trust your gut on this one, authenticity beats glamour any day.

I once dabbled in the online scene and stumbled upon Adult Friend Finder. The interface wasn't as flashy, but man, did it deliver. Found some memorable hookups without all the glitz and glam, just real connections. Authenticity's where it's at, mate.
