Because they lie. If they indeed are what they say and no time to meet the guy of their dreams, why not use a PERSONALIZED date service like Great Expectation for instance.

Or ask around and find a service that works.

I have come across "rich" women on free sites but I think most are just trying to toot their own horn or it is just scammers at work.

You are right someone of money is not going to be worried about price. They will join a site they either see on TV like Match or eHarmony, or a site recommended to them by friends.

BTW I heard Great Expectations wasn't any good.
