Are there legit adult sexual sites that aren't scams?

This is my own experience with a lot of dating sites.
I seem to get ripped off so I have stopped paying for them.
In saying that the only success I have had was on zoosk, I paid for membership and I meet a nice woman with whom I actually meet had a coffee with and chatted with for an hour or so. We had phone conversations and we ended up dating for 10 months, before we split up. That was in 2016. Here it is 2019 July and I’m still single and completely over scammers, scams, scam sites,
I just can’t believe how hard it is to find a woman today, I’m 49 a little over weight and women in general seem to be so fickle in meeting a man.
Zoosk has been the only site I had luck with and some of the women on there “seemed” real , I know Mary was.
I tried POF, oasis, a lot of the rest too, to no success
What ever happened to having sex just for the fun of it.?????

I forgot to mention that last week I paid for a 6mth subscription on zoosk again just to try and see if I can meet another woman, as I have been single since 2016 and have had no luck anywhere else and I had 10+ messages so the site said.
To this point I have had 2 conversations and it has gone nowhere.
And of the messages I sent to other women they have not responded or if they have, it was to say NO to having a chat with me.
Now I know that I have only had a week, but to have a 98% strike out rate it is not looking very promising .😞🤬

You’re all a bunch of cheating, lying *censored* who will soon realize karma is a real *censored*. Why don’t you get divorced and get a life. You need therapy. Or perhaps you get off on the thrill of doing this behind your partners back or simply you cannot find a real relationship any other way than prostitution. Yes. As a woman I used Adult Friend Finder for a year and a half. As with any site you have to have a good attitude and be willing to put time and effort in contacting people and yes there are many fake profiles. Anything that looks too good to be true probably is. Please keep in mind that the men out-number the females by a factor of 10. I am going to repeat the "good attitude" and "time and effort." All the men that I met and hooked up with 1) didn't assume that I was a fake profile and sent a nice first message-- not a flirt or one line and 2) had a complete profile themselves, with well-written paragraphs, pictures (body, face as well as equipment) and testimonials which AFF has and 3) were prompt about meeting, calling or video chatting with no run around.
Ashley Madison may be legit but it's so unwieldy and expensive to use, it's not worth it.
After I got divorced I was on Match and OK Cupid and woman were actually doing me in my car. If you can be a generous gentleman for 5 dates you are almost guaranteed to
get sex. My problem is that I feel like I'm misleading woman; most want much much more than sex.

POF used to be good when it was free, although I never met anyone on it who agreed to even a cup of coffee. I took time to write a thorough profile, I posted legit pictures and have not once gotten a reply. I've used POF for at least 9 years, long before it had "premium upgrades" I'm not saying it's a scam site, but women on it are way to picky.
I'm not an adonis but I'm not ugly either. I'm not fat, I'm in pretty good shape.
I'm quickly beginning to believe for the average person/man out there ALL WEBSITES for hookups are *censored*.
I'd like to create my own website, but how would I not only create it, but how would I advertise it?
