Something needs to be done about the MAJOR gender imbalance on all dating sites, the men outnumber the women by at least 60% on dating sites. Most women claim to get so many responses (EVERYDAY) that they can't even read them all, and admit that they just end up deleting most of them. Men on the other hand are lucky to get one response a week!! I can personally account for this being true from my own experience, and by talking to many other men and women who have used online dating sites. Another problem with dating sites is spam and fake profiles. Something needs to be done about that sort of scam too. I don't know what the clear answer is to that problem, but I'm sure that there is some sharp minds out there who are smart enough to figure something out on that subject. I think that dating sites are still in their infancy, and need to evolve to much better thought out ideas!!

In my opinion since this is a supply and demand issue ... Men should have to pay a much larger fee to have any access AT ALL PERIOD!!! Any of the men who are non paying members should have their profile removed from viewing, until they become a paying member again. Women on the other hand should have -FULL- FREE ACCESS, but this free access should be linked to the paying members ONLY!! If this idea was marketed correctly, then it would surely get the attention of just about everybody who is interested in a REAL dating site. Since there is obviously a supply and demand issue, most men would be glad to pay extra to see the odds increase. I wonder why there is such an imbalance in gender on dating sites??? I can't figure that one out. Any ideas to why this is????

You can look on ANY dating website and do a search in your area or any area for that matter, enter for women and then enter for men, the offset is staggering, very confusing.

This is discremination toward men by making them pay more. Wasn't that one of the founding reasons for equal writes. Ewual pay? Maybe it was I was a government employee but with about two excption out of coutless dates, all the women made more money than I did. So maybe the women should pay more since the guys are espected to have nice clothes, a nice car and despite so called modern times, guys usually pay for the date. Aks a potential date (woman) that money is tight and would she mind going 'dutch'. Bet you get no response.

Ok in Australia females tend to be awarded custody of children post separation, with that comes the majority of assets.

So now they have the house and kids and that is there focus for the next few years. They are not interested in another male to replace the one they just got rid of.

Men end up living alone isolated from their children. They are looking to connect with people again.

That is my take on it. If you want to be more controversial you can through in a general comment about libido imbalance.
