I don't mean to seem condescending but it's basic logic that just because two identities are members of the same community (sexsearch in this case) and one has a certain characteristic (fake profile, spammer) doesn't mean that they both have that characteristic. Also, consider that this thread has a participation and confirmation bias because the best way to find it is by googling {"sexsearch.com" spammers} so posters likely believe it is a scam before they get here and then find an echo chamber for that belief.

I can report that I have had (great) sex with a real (attractive) woman after being a full member for less than a month. The fact that empty or unattractive unpaid profiles get tons of emails is only slightly relevant. The question that we should care about--and I admit still bothers me--is does the spam continue once you pay? My rule is that for every questionable email I reply to (possibly wasting my time) I send messages to three new women.

Does anyone know how the advanced search results are sorted? It seems to be by some class first and then by activity. What is this first class?

The best filter seems to be trying to move to outside email as soon as possible. I understand the safety concern that this poses for real women but that is easily dealt with by creating a new, more anonymous email address. Any other tips for separating the wheat from the chaff?

actually, I had really great sex with two different women during AND ENTIRE YEAR from that site...I agree that it's a scam. I think I just got lucky. If a woman wants to hook up, then they usually get to the point. I believe that the website uses paid workers to keep enticing people hopeful..It was a waste of time and effort. Yeah, I got laid. But the time and effort was not worth it.

I was a member there for about a month. If you read the fine print in the "terms and conditions" it clearly states that some of the members are computer generated and some are past members that are paid to enhance the online dating experience. Don't expect to meet anyone in person. It is for amusement only.

I'm a woman and have been on sexsearch.com for close to a year. I have great luck. I've met a number of men and I now see 3 of them on a fairly regular basis. Ranging in age from 39 to 66. All great guys with a great appetite for sex! If I wanted I could get laid everyday of the week.!! That's not because I'm some young woman with a great bod. This site is a joke! I am 48 years old and recently divorced and looking for a partner. I joined and suddenly I I was everything I thought I wasn't, but after answering the 15-20 hot little sexies I discovered NONE of them have any brain or they are hired by sexsearch or simply a computer generated response. So typical is "I want to meet you". Well ok but why would a hot 23 year old want to meet me (48) when we have never met, talked or even e-mailed? We don't even know each others names! This site is definately a scam. I just finished a one month membership. I took down my pictures and then the views started right up, friend requests and meeting requests started right up also and with pictures of women that were downright gorgeous!

Talk about baiting someone to get you to subscribe again. NO THANK YOU! One month at $29.95 was more then enough! I turned off all the settings to stop any more e-mails.

A FOOL AND HIS MONEY IS SOON PARTED! But at least not too much money! Just think that if one million guys paid $29.95, that would be a pretty good profit for this scam outfit!
