Does anyone have any positive feedback on Sexsearch.com? I have received emails from people who supposedly wanted to contact me, but their profile does not fit with mine. I have had "interest" but then when I read the profile, it is the exact same as someone else's profile (typo's and all). Is this site real or a scam? As a side note I did correspond with one woman on the site who was having as bad a time as I and another one wanted me to pay to visit her site. Any feed back would be appreciated.

definately a scam. Same things happened to me. You get messages from women, but they are all generic and they never write again after you reply. Don't make the same mistake I did. I wasted $29.95 on that bogus site. Evil

I've used several profiles and receieved identical replies using multiple pictures to both of my profiles. I've notified the Sexsearch site of this situation and they act as if it's the actions of individuals which "they will not tolerate." I've also found that very rarely will you receive more then one contact from their bogus women on staff. This would require some consistency in their replies which is impossible with their non-personal canned responses.

Sounds on the money. The pattern hit me about 10 days into my membership, so I drafted one letter and sent it to every woman had contacted me first, based on having viewed my profile, in theory. The letter basically said: I've been contacted by women who were both beautiful and fascinating according to their profiles. Once I reply, however, I never hear from them again. Since I suspect these contacts are connected to the never ending pitch to upgrade my membership to Gold status, I have decided not to renew at the end of this month. In case I am wrong I have to decided to write the one woman who attracted me the most: you. Please contact me at (email addy here). That way I'll know this whole thing wasn't a big scam.
That letter went to 32 "special" women; not one replied. That lesson cost less than some others.

Sexsearch is a scam. There are real women on the system but they are far and few between. You have to weed through all of the fake emails and profiles most likely generated by sexsearch themselves to get you upgrade your account. Any doubters, try this, set up a free account with a totally lame profile, no pic, and watch...You'll be hotter than a rock star...Youre gonna get emails from beautiful women that wanna ride your pole....Pay the 30 or 60 dollars to get in touch with them and what do you know...almost no responses, and when you do get them, they will always be vague and you'll get the same response word for word from different women with different screen names. I got this one response from a women that said she was gonna burn up all of her frequent flyer miles to come and have sex with me. I only lived 5 miles away from her, get the idea......Total b.s with the occassional real woman. Save your money.

I hate sites like these. I think it was Date.com that did the same thing.

You put a profile out there as a non-member. You get some emails from some women that are "interested" in you. So, like a gulible person, you pay your money to become a member so that you can reply to them. Then you never hear from them again.

One thing I noticed about Date.com... if you are inactive for 30 minutes, it logs you out. However, one of the "girls" that were interested in me... was on 24x7.

So, what these types of sites are doing, are sending emails to those who are not members. That way they can get your money. Once they have your money, they don't give a rats ass.

Fortunately, I am re-married now, and don't have to put up with the BS of scam sites, and women that don't respond. But I still feel your pain!

I wouldn't necessarily say the site is a scam because some of it's members seem to be. On any dating site, whether it is sex personals or "regular" dating sites, you will see a lot of fake profiles. It doesn't mean the entire site is a fraud.

SexSearch has been in business for a few years and if all their profiles were fakes and nobody met anyone real on the site, you'd think they'd be out of business by now? I do.

Anyway my .02

Dear me:
The site is a scam. They have been in business for a few years because they are good at it. First of all the site is marketed towards men. You do not see promotions for the site in any "womens" markets. So it begs the question that if it is not promoted in those markets, how would women even know how to post a profile there? Secondly, why would a site, designed to hook people up, automatically give its paying customers access to a porn site? Lastly, inother sites where emails are sent from frauds, at least those profiles match the posters wants/ needs. In this site, standard emails are sent that don't even come close to matching the profile. As I and others have stated before, the exact same email has been received from numerous different women in differnt areas of the country and with very different bios. This is not some individual pretending to be someone else, this is caused by an automatic email generating system. This can only be run by, or at the very least with the knowledge of, the site administration. Therfore the site is a SCAM!

I think you are all correct in your estimation of Sex Search. It is very similar to Bang Match in that you get responses before you even put up a pic.

Here's how it works. Like you say, you get responses for even lame profiles. Very seductive and close by. BUT, when you ask for their number (they obviously want a hook up) they go silent, or only barely respond to your question, without leaving a number.

Interestingly enough, I've been watching the time stamps on the responses, They typically bunch together around the same time. Some were just two minutes apart. Strangely enough, the time stamps on the e-mails put them at 6:30AM EST, just about the time for those two girls in Florida to get up and continue their scam. However, I am in california, and it's 3:30AM. Isn't it amazing how all the "girls" who want me are all up in the middle of the night, haunting sex sites? I mean, I want to hook up, but at 3:30AM? Conclusion? BOGUS! (once or twice, ok, every night at about the same time?)

Also, have noticed quite a few hookers advertising, pretty blantantly.

Another couple of observations:

1. I have recognized several of the "girls" from amature porn site pics.

2. They are getting sloppy with their autogenerated profiles, it even says (autogenerated text here) when there is no "option" on their site to auto generate text for your profile. Means they have developed some internal tools to generate bogus profiles.

I was interested in them, due to AFF's hard bitten, and jaded ladies. Man, what a bunch of *censored*. So this looked new and fresh, and LOTS of affiliates too. What could go wrong? DUH!

Save your money, chalk it up to experience and move on. That's what they are expecting, although I'd love to corner these two *censored*es driving this site and humiliate them, if that's possible.

Several anti-spam lawsuits against these jokers is in the works. Google "sexsearch fraud" and you'll get a few links.

Good luck.

Dammit man. You know, I had this same kind of supicion about Mate1, that in these times the site would be so desperate for money they would hire people to be posers to new people that stumbled in to fake lots of interest and get them excited and get them to join. So I didn't subscribe to it. But when I verified there were real people on Mate1, I went on to subscribe to SexSearch as well. And as such I see I lost my $60.

I didn't even have a profile up on Sexsearch and my suspicions shot up, as I was getting spamed by 'fake' people ready to go. And their emails are short and brief.

Question:

1. these people are obviously unscrupulous as hell and now have our credit card information. We should probably cancel the account, correct? Has anyone had any experience with them billing your account without autorization, or making unsolicited charges? Do they automatically rebill your account when it expires?

2. we need to band together and start a class action lawsuit to recover our money.

3. i read on this other website they are being sued for spamming:

http://www.barbieslapp.com/spam/sexsearch/sexsearch.htm

There is probably more out there, I have yet to search, I ended up at this board by accidentatlly typing sexsearch.com into my google toolbar instead of the URL address box when I wanted to the site to check my email... don't that beat all for a rude awaking this morning.

Always trust your intuition. Your feelings are a more sophisticated and powerful intelligence than your logical mind which can lie to itself into believing what it wants to believe. If something feels wrong or too good to be true it most definately will be.

I tried a few other sites and had the same problem. At least sexsearch refunded my money with no major problems. What I think is funny is that when I was on other dating sites they all seem to have these "girls" and wanted me to go to other sites on the web most costing money. I think that they all have the same issue of these spammers

I've been a member on Sexsearch for a little over a year now. I am one of the few REAL women on there, and believe me, there must be ONLY a few of us. My biggest gripe would be that so far, I've caught 2 other women, one in CA, one in CT, using MY picture as their own profile pic. I notified the administrators right away both times. With the one woman, they axed her from the site within 5 minutes of their notification. With the second, they couldn't seem to have cared any less. Six days later, and after having to write 2 e mails with my complaints, it wasn't until I brought up those words "copyright infringement" did they finally remove the picture. This woman, however, was allowed to keep her membership.
Do I think they're a scam? Not totally, but darn near close!!!

At one point or another I've signed up for almost every dating site there is. Most of the adult dating sites have tons of hookers and tons of people using the dating site to spam their own sites. It's a problem that all dating sites have. The only two adult dating sites that are worth signing up for are sexsearch and adultfriendfinder.
I've only been a member of sexsearch for a few months but I've gotten laid by 3 really hot chicks in that time period. I've been a member of adultfriendfinder for years so I've had sex with a lot more people on their site but the chicks I've been with from that site haven't been very good looking. Anyway, that's my 2 cents.

:One of the biggest wastes of time and money, as others also seem to find! I am so into going after in a legal forum bogus internet fraud sites a s this for all to see that theses are not above prosecution. It may seem rash, but the hastles, spam, referals, unsolicited junk, and parlaying of marketing info, makes it all seem quite worthy as an entertaining quest? For a law school undergrad , and thge lack of referals from there site, in regards to removal from billing list and related inconveniances encountered make it a good hobby suite at federal levels under various areas of law infringments, and deceptive marketing practices. To say the least, it's a thought for someone with 2 much time on there hands and a desire to shut down the bogus sites.

I actually think sexsearch is the best out of all of the adult dating sites. You people are really a bunch of morons. Anyone with half a brain knows how these dating sites work. There isn't a dating site out there that doesn't have fake profiles, but that's not the sites fault, it's because of spammers who create fake profiles and use the dating sites to spam their own sites which are generally webcam sites. Adultfriendfinder is the worst as far as that goes. The adult dating sites are also havens for escorts but that's because of the nature of the sites. There are plenty of real women though and the site has allowed me to develop relationships with a few. Also, I've found that sexsearch has great customer service.

I am a women that is on that site! (a real women)
I took the time to read all the posts and see there is one complaint that should throw a flag to all men. A real women never makes the first move. You should always know that when a female that will do this she is either a paysite or employee regardless if it be this site or others. You also have to understand when you send an email to make the first move, a real women will almost take forever it seems like to answer. Reason for that is she gets hundreds of emails , smiles, chat invitations, etc., daily. It will take her awhile to answer. The second item I suggest is be patient!!
Wait at least 3-4 days to recontact her.
When you get a reply several hours later or a couple of days you will know this is a real person. Another item I might suggest is if you are invited to a site trust me, they are not true real women you are looking for. Real women looking for the same as you do not have webpages !!!!! Don't need them!!

Hopefully I have put some insight on all the men looking for a "real women", they do exist because I am one of them !

Good Luck in your search,
Ht Big Grin

Some of the women have to be real. I was on there for about 2 days before the woman I had just broken up with found my profile. Her profile was totally lame but had easily enough information for me to know it was her. She is very attractive and pretty good in bed and I know that when she breaks up with a guy she likes to get banged a few times as she told me so. Anyway, I wasn't interested in her having seen what she is like in a long term relationship.

That said, the site is 90% scam. However since I know some women there are real its worth taking time to send letters and see what you can dig up. I'll write again if I actually meet anyone.

I cancelled my membership 10 minutes after I joined. I wanted to make sure I was not automatically billed. I'm still on 8 months later, so I guess sexsearch screwed up.

I got 3 emails the first 5 minutes after I posted a free profile. So I joined to email the women. One had no profile I could find, for over 4 months. I never heard from the other 2.

I have found one woman in Moreno Valley, CA that looks just like a woman in AL. Same jeans, sofa, wall, hair, chest..

I have seen several profiles with the same "interests" almost word for word. I think I have met 2 women on there that are real, at least. One I talked to several times, she moved 1500 miles away, and one I have emailed off and on for 4 months. But no one has knocked down my door for sex. I have had about 400 offers to go to a "secure site" where the women know I'm real, and children can't get to.. hell, if I joined every one of those sites, I'd have to sell the house. I know I'm real, and if I join those sites, they have my credit card number too. I did cancel my card, after I joined sexsearch, so they could not auto bill me.

Some emails I get I think are from guys, who put really hot naked women photos up, and act like I am their best chance for sex. If they can't spell, and the grammar is totally messed up, and they can't answer simple questions, and they have no idea what their email address is.. I bail. They haven't asked for money or loans yet, but that can't be far away. (I get that on americansingles.com a lot, "send me money, I'll buy a ticket and spend the rest of my life with you". If they can hook 3-6 guys a day, they are making about $5,000 a day. Not bad. Usually from Ghana, South Africa, and Russia.)

My advice is, meet women in the produce department of markets, at work, friends of friends, take dance lessons, or at dance clubs. Much better chance of meeting someone.

SexSearch.com Is almost positively a scam! They must have tens of thousands of phony Users that send people emails to get them into the website... You'll never end up meeting anyone on SexSearch.com... It's practically a complete scam! I get about 5 emails a day, and 0 profile reads... A normal male/female ALWAYS reads the profile... You just don't send emails! I have 5 profile reads, 2 from 1 person, 1 from another female, and 2 men reading... That goes to show... Only men are interested! HMMMM...... Also, I respond to the emails, and get 0 responses back! It's a complete scam! EVERYONE STAY AWAY FROM SexSearch.com! Don't make the mistake of paying money to a scamming company! They must have agents that run through all of the profiles or an automated program through MYSQL that sends generic emails to people so that suckers will join! I'll admit it, i'm a sucker... But eventually I'll have an idea of how this industry works, and see the true scam in all Personals Sites...

Yup, I'm another clown to add to the list. Was lokking for a little fun, and made a genuine moron out of myself. lol. I got a couple of responses that appeared to genuine. But nothing happened. Funny that. The staff must love their jobs.
Anyhoo. Any recommendations on sites that work?
Can we add a rating button on here or each site name?

Hey Muppet, Here's a question for you, or for any other member.

There is one basic member that I want to communicate with. This is someone I know, so she is real. I am fairly sure she will not pay to join. I am willing to throw away $30 just to get in touch with her, but not by phone. Question is, if I join, what info will the site allow in the email? Will it let me give another email address, or do they filter that info out? If I can't send my email address, I see no point in joining, since she will have no way to respond.

just dont pay any money, take a lot of care of your profile (good pics, best quality's of yourself) I did this and got emails, without joining! email addresses are FILTERED by software and would be removed.

There are tons of real women on sexsearch.com. That's because they only charge men and they give totally free memberships to women who post pictures of themselves. Dating sites like sexsearch have two major problems

1) spammers - people with other websites that have nothing to do with the dating site (generally webcam sites) who set up fake profiles of girls and then spam all of the members of the dating site to visit their own pay site which they charge for.

2) hookers - not much can be done to stop hookers from joining sites like these because they find a lot of business that way.

None of the sites like it when these two things are done, there's just not much they can do about it. They are major problems.

You're always going to have a lot more men than women on sites like these, that's just the nature of those types of sites.

One good thing I can say about sexsearch, is that their customer service is great. I know for a fact that sexsearch refunds the money to anyone who is not happy with their service. Anyone on here that's complaining could easily have contacted sexsearch and gotten a refund just by taking a couple of minutes to contact them. If you aren't happy w/ them, just contact their customer service and I guarantee that you get a full refund.

Signed up as a couple. So far I've had loads of mails, all written in perfect English. Respond, next emails come written by someone who clearly has English as a second language. All contacts seem to come from one particular city nowhere near us and all have gone cold when talking about meeting up (It's not a case of pictures either as both me and my partner model so I can't imagine that many people all who think we're ugly!). All mails are sent outside my timezone too, and I mean all of them. It's like everyone I speak to is up at 4am.

Anyone know a slightly reliable site that covers the UK? Really p*ss*d off by sexsearch.

It's a very bizarre site! I've cancelled my membership due to "Women" in my area not having a basic grasp of the English language As has been said before, you get emails from "Women" and you reply, but the replies you then recieve have no bearing on the email you sent! Not 1 "women" on this site has actually answered a question I've asked EVER! I think that the site have alot of auto generated profiles, I've seen the ones with the "Auto Generated Text" in them too, it's a fun scam for the people reaping the rewards but not funny to those who take this seriously and as I've said before, your better off spending your hard earned cash on speed dating in your local city, atleast you know the woman sat in front of you is "Real" Smile I hope the Romanian/Russian women who answer these emails have a sense of humor as my emails now until my account expires are starting to become as bizarre as theirs! Wink It's a scam, of that I have no doubt, most "Dating" sites on the net I've been on are! But it provides me with some laughs for a month or more depending on how quick they are to close my account and passes those nights I don't go out drinking, take it as that, a laugh!

I sent out 70 messages to women on this site.I included a picture of my self and a well known celebrity - eva longoria which I took when I saw her in LA , at least 1 of the 70 women would have recognized her. They all responded with the same message. You are very cute , will the girl be joining us aswell. If i could get the "girl" to join me of course I would. Funny How not one of them recognised EVA LONGORIA. I called my Credit Card company and they put a hold on the charge to my CC. They told me to call the billing company and tell them the story and to have them refund my money or they would. The billing company was very accomadating and refunded me instantly. The guy on the phone did not even seem surprised about the story I was telling him. IF YOU WERE TAKEN BY THIS SIGHT CALL YOUR CC COMAPNY AND THEN CALL THE BILLING COMPANY. YOU WILL GET YOUR MONEY BACK

Besides that the numbers 9 and 25 did not change at all since then. Make sure you stop the monthly automatic renewal so at least you don get charge going forward.

I am responding to previous inputs regarding sexsearch.com.

After reading inputs about this link--I sent them a request to remove all BOTs off my account. Apparently sexsearch did just that--and this past week I have received only 1 email. With the automatic BOTs turned off--there doesn't seem to be much to the sexsearch.com site.

Please consider your options when looking at a site--I paid for this site and it seems it was a donation that I wish I had not made.

I think the guys who are complaining are not truthful in their profiles or descriptions of what they are looking for. Not every gal on the site is a ravishing beauty - young and hot. If you are honest about who and what you really are looking for, we are out there. I have dated several guys who contacted me - after screening first their postings, then email conversations, and then phone conversations before agreeing to meet. I'd say about one in one hundred is genuine, and of those maybe one in five is right for what I want. Don't go by the ratings as such-they are only a guideline. The highest I've seen is 70%, and I would not want anything to do with him after reading his profile. The guys I have met have been a mixed bag-some one-night stands, and a couple that I have a continuing relationship with.
So, my advise is be yourself, be realistic, be determined, and screen, screen, screen.

This is definitely a scam site, I can't believe I fell for it. S**t, here a quote from one such lady she even says other guys thinks she not real, bastard is right. What kind of Physiology do they think they are playing at. This site should be banned. Read this, they must pay people to create this *censored*. Subject: Am I Fooling Myself Message: I don't normally write letters like this but I am getting frustrated. I have sent out a dozen letters to different guys and the only response I got was that I wasn't real. I wrote back to him and told him I was real and he never wrote me back. I know I am not the best looking woman on the planet and my body isn't model material but I know I am good looking enough to have men interested in me. It's not difficult for me to go out with some friends and meet a man but on here it's like I have leprosy. I don't want to sound too desperate but I am getting frustrated. I just want to get laid without having to worry about getting tied down in a relationship. You have the chance to be my first connection on this site before I cancel. What so you say? Cancelled my credit card. glad it only cost me $29 f**** dollars. Bastards are not getting a penny more. Learn't my lesson though, stick to the bars, the women are real.

Should also add, the next email I get from her, is this What you doing for Christmas? and thats it, and basically it continues with one-lines. Who the heck writes one-lines in replies? And I even got one from a girl talking about circus acts READ THIS. Editted for censorship reasons Subject: Rings on c**k, and circus rings! Message: I used to dream I was a performer in a circus. I see you have a nice tent forming in your pants. I would love to perform an act for you. They say I am very entertaining that way. My act consists of bending my body in ways no one can even imagine. Second, I am good with putting dangerously sinful objects into my mouth, and if lucky, I can swallow that object whole. So, would you like to go to my Circus? Would you like to see me perform? she does the same thing. I am just glad I have a sense of humour. And then she sends me stuff about I am not the ringmaster in her dream. Come-on what is this place some kind of science experiment gone wrong.

I notified my bank and no charge from SexSearch will be accepted. At least they didn't get my money. Today I forwarded e-mails to them re: their service or lack thereof without response. When I went back to the web site I was blocked by them so technically they removed me from their user list. Why? Not quite sure but my protests, so similiarr to those who complained at this we site,, were removed from thiis site as well. Prior to notifying SS I communicted my personal displeasure to each "woman" that contacted me and informed her of what is about to take place re: public disclosure and legal action. You should do the same. Take the time to do it and you won't be sorry. If all of you take the time to do this the site can and will be shut down. Its a fraud and scam. Notify your Internet provider as well. When you've completed this work notify the FCC and local police authorities, particularly those of you received e-mails from children. Good luck! Trmember this: All of these sites are controlled by the same company so don't wast your money. One other thing -- print all corresspondence to and from them. Have a record as I have done.

It's a SCAM. The site claims that there are hundreds of "single girls in my area." I paid for a membership and said what the hell, I'll give it a chance. I put my picture up, wrote a profile and awaited to see what would happen. Indeed there were a lot of good looking girls in my area. I would hit the "show interest" button and send messages to these "girls" and would receive NO reply. They wouldn't even look at my profile. The site keeps track of the number of times you're profile has been viewed and after almost a month of a gold membership I HAD ONE profile view, and it was from a 45 an old biker redneck from Alabama. Not a single e-mail either. Either I'm the ugliest guy in the world or this site is a scam. I would often see pictures from porn stars and popular celebrities so obviously there are a lot of fakes on there. I complained and said I would write a complaint to the attorney general for fraudulent and false advertising, as the site claims you will get "plenty" or profile views and e-mails. They said they would refund my money and delete my profile...but we'll see.

Kevin: You shouldn't be surprised. All of us have learned the hard way. If you do some checking you'll see that all the sex sites are under one umbrella, just different names or titles. My experience is five who show interest but all restrict the email communications to one or two sentences. Get the idea they're chooses the sentences from a prepared list!!!! Two days ago I received eight inquiries, all arriving at the same time, and all of them between 23 - 25. What the hell would someone that young want from me? The sad truth is many available women do exist and are available but we won't find them on SexSearch. To me the web site name implies women looking for sex or is my interpretation wrong? Its a nice way for women to get-off vicariously and not have to deliver the goods. For the money I've spent on web sites I could have paid fr a high class hooker or gone for massages and reaped the benefits there. Sex search, AFF and others are phonies. Don't waste your money. I wish it was different but its not.

I signed up at SEX SEARCH a about two month ago, and after a while there's no-one viewing my profile even If I created new profile. My profile was viewed by no more than 35 members. Is it possible that out of all the members listed in my search results not one new or existing member view my profile in the pass 2 month. I still can't find the on-line chat facility that the banner ad is showing on the home page. I asked for support and all the information they gave me is just direction to go to the gold room and not specific instruction on where the on line chat facility is. The gold room is basically a place to sell you some low resolution movies and try to get you to pay more money to see the live web cam show. In the lounge area of the gold room, they listed new features will be implemented. Two months later, there's nothing change. I smell a scam!

Read this article from Heather in Knoxville .. Most all dating sites including Sex Search operate this way: .. Hope this helps

Mate1 .com is a scam and so is Gammahost.com I was searching the internet for home based employment. You know the type of employment where you dont have to lay down a few hundred dollars or even 20.00 dollars to get a job working from home.

In my search I found, Mate1.com Intimate Dating Service. It said something like, Earn a extra 100.00 a week being a online Ambassador just answering e-mails from the comfort of your home.

I thought ok I can do that and the add said it would take only a few hours a day. Hmmmm. 2 hours a day for a hundred a week ok I'll do that.

This is how I thought it was suppose to work, Guys see my profile, send me mail. I reply within 48 hrs and I get paid 100.00 A week. This is how it was explained to me. Below is the actual letter I recieved from mate 1

Congratulations! You've been chosen out of several hundred applicants for the position of Online Ambassador. If you are genuinely interested in the position, please read the attached agreement, sign it and fax it to the number mentioned in the letter. As well, we will need your
mailing address in order to send checks to you. If you prefer to be paid by paypal, we will need the appropriate information. You can provide that information simply by replying to this email. Payment details are in the attached letter. Please specify how you would like to be paid and don't forget to include your full first and last name.

Your job as Online Ambassador is as straight forward as it gets: to reply to all emails that you receive in your Mate1 inbox within 48 hours. You should not mention your Online Ambassador status unless you are asked.

Instead, simply reply in a friendly manner. Your role is simply to make people feel at home on the site and make light conversation via email, What you write is up to your good judgment, and you should be yourself. There are more details in the attached letter, which you should read
carefully before signing it and faxing it to 514-393-1231.

If possible, we'd like you to start May 13th for a 4 week period. Because the positions fill up fast, please resond as soon as possible if interested.

If you have any questions at all, feel free to contact me.

Yours truly,

Tina Kissavos
Mate1

Online Ambassador Guidelines
Last updated 12/15/04

Here's a quick guide to properly handling situations that may arisewhile you are responding to email from Mate 1 members. Please read them carefully.

1. We do not recommend that you mention your Online Ambassador status unless you are asked. However, you must answer honestly if asked.

If someone asks any of the following questions:

Q: Do you work for Mate1?
Q: What does "OA" stand for?
Q: What is an Online Ambassador?

Answer something like this:

I was a member of Mate 1 and they chose me to be an online ambassador (that's what that OA logo on my profile means). I spend a couple of hours online every day emailing other members and making them feel welcome.

2. You are expected to be yourself, natural and casual, in your replies. If someone writes something that offends you, you are free to tell them what you think.

3. If someone asks for your personal email address, your personal instant messenger handle or any other personal contact info off the site, you should tell them that you feel more comfortable corresponding on the site.

4. You are not expected to communicate with anyone by Mate 1 instant messenger, but you are free to do so if you wish.

5. If you receive more than one message from the same member in between times that you log in to respond, you are only responsible for answering their most recent email.

Now what they didnt tell me was that They would send out an email addressed from me to ALL of the males and lesbian females on the site telling them that I liked their profile, That I wanted to correspond with them and to get back with me by of coarse sendind me an email.

LOL... Do you know how many e-mails I got in one day? about 500 Men who were 65 years old were flattered that I, (really Mate 1) had sent them a letter and that I, (really mate 1) wanted to correspond with them. Ya see men have to pay high prices to mate 1 to be a Member.

Mate one gives them a trial and then ropes them in with the, "Online Ambassador girls" The guys think, WOW Im gonna meet this girl, This girl is interested in me and I cant lose contact with her so Id better get a membership.

The online ambassador girls are thinking wow all I have to do is answer emails from guys who are genuinly interested in me and I get paid for it! WRONG!!!

These people are not only scamming guys who are lonely but women too who are trying to make money from home. There is no way that someone can get to all those emails in 48 hours or less NOT unless you live on the computer and Even then I dont think that you can do it. Even if you copy and pasted a generic letter to all 500 in a day you couldnt do it. Why???

Because while you are on the site people can see when you are there and they can instant message you. So you get BOMBARDED with instant mesages, You get BOMBARDED with mail and then the site gets real slow and your computer freezes on the site. so how are you suppose to get to the email??? You have to keep logging off and logging back in which takes even more time. Its a scam guys.

None of these girls want to talk to you. They didnt send you the email. Mate 1 sent it on their (Online Ambassadors) behalf and without them even realizing it. I dont think they even plan to pay people a hundred a week. They just let them anwser as much email as possilbe, let them give up and move on to the next sucker. That way the site is always in supply of fresh pretty faces sending out massive emails to lonely men who think they just got real lucky!

After reding all the posts, I'm convinced that Sexsearch.com is a scam. Is there any agency that we can report this to so it doesn't happen to others? I tried to file a complaint with the FTC at www.FTC.org but the complaint form won't come up. I suppose it's burning hot from all the complaints they receive. Any suggestions? Class action suit? They probably are making millions at $29.95 a pop.

You will have to try the free vs for yourself to get a good idea. I know the men on their come arrogant and condescending. I met one guy on there and he turned out to be an Elvis reject. He was mean and inconsiderate. There was no connection. I can't blame sexsearch that they allow people like that to sign up. People online generally have higher expectations anyway, which makes it difficult to find someone from here. There may be some scamming going on, but there are real people on there too looking. It's no different from what you can do at work, bar, school or anywhere. It's all an illusional game.

Sex search is a joke.Your suppose to be able to meet people on this site but,if you send phone#s,e-mail addresses or meeting place info, they immediately delete the info. You couldn't meet anyone on this site if you wanted to and anyone who says they have is a LIAR.I'm contacting my bank first thing in the morning and putting the charge in dispute and I urge everyone else to do the same

Don't go there. Utter Utter Shite

They are criminals out to steal your money...they hide their card re-charge policy in the small print and help themselves to your cash every month.

And, whilst there might be one or two real girls on there, I doubt they are the numerous hotties who beg you for a good time as soon as you join - like they're having problems pulling offline.

Seriously guys. Have a wank. It's free and much more satisfying.

Since Sexsearch.com has changed so called management/ownership,it's realy gone down hill.
Not only can you not upload any decent photos, the search options are now unspecified and spammers have taken over.
They now have a 90 day gaurantee that you'll score. Even the "hook"is pure BS.
I've acctually met a few women there and had a very good time but,a majority of so called members are fakes and spammers.
Sexsearch used to be a legitimate adult site, now it's taken it's place with the rest of the BS.

Concur w/all here. Site sucks. In addition to those who've tried to figure it out by canned msgs to many, I searched from coast to coast -- and also got the same canned replies, sometimes even the same picture!, or obviously the same background (kitchen), and pictures of extremely beautiful women, the quality of the pictures alone obvious they're not homebodies. Shame those of us searching sincerely getting ripped off...

The women on SexSearch seem to be over 80% faked profiles, but the one positive thing was after paying for one month, my membership stayed active forever, which to this day gives me access to some great videos. The videos you can get to on the site are hot. THe few real women I contacted were OK.

i have discovered too that sexsearch is a total scam and waste of time and money-i realised my error not long after paying the 1 month silver membership fee and agree with 99% of the comments already posted. i have emailed their 'customer service' voicing my displeasure and am not at all hopeful of a reply- i am mostly annoyed with myself for falling for such a trap and am kicking myself that i contributed to lining the pockets of these conmen (and women for that matter!) my question is to anyone out there who has maybe been in the same boat- will i continue being billed even though my membership was cancelled?? and is it just best to call the bank and cancel my card? i know i may aswell do that regardless to minimise the risk. its only touchwood £15 pounds as yet so i'm not too fussed about going through the rigmaroll of chasing that back i'll try to learn from my mistake but what are my odds of gettin my money back?? thanks in anticipation

Whew...I was thinking of buying a membership, but I decided to check first to see just how well rated this was, and damn I'm glad I did! Those idiots won't be getting any of MY money! it just goes to show that with just a little bit of research on something first, you won't get swindled or duped into filling the pockets of, I hate to say it, marketing geniuses that prey on our basest instincts. They may be unscrupulous, but they picked an excellent way to swindle others, and for that, they get at least a grudging respect from me, but as for my money, they don't get a plumb freakin' nickel.

I can agree that Sexsearch is a scam, but not a full scam. I got a $1 trial silver membership and it pretty much happened exactly like what the other bloggers are saying, you get emailed like a rock star for a few days. Then, after your membership is up, the emails suddenly stop even with being a basic member again. So, I do beleive that a lot of those profiles are fake. But I can't agree that ALL of them are fake otherwise no one would meet for sex, no one would get laid, eventually word would spread and the site would be no more. I am a basic member now again, I was a silver member, and after my own paranoia about the sites authenticity and reading this blog I'm seriously beginning to question if I really want to buy a membership or not. No matter what I do next, Thanks for the word of warning. I appreciate it.

I find that VERY hard to beleive especially ".I spoken to some on the phone" considering EVERY time I tried to email my contacts my email address, IM s/n, phone number, etc...it was ALWAYS "auto-filtered" out of the message because they don't want you to have the ability to contact each other outside of SexSearch...........probably just someone off the site trying to promote it.

What does this say about on line dating.

With a couple of exceptions like this one, most topics get from no replies to 3-4.

This post gets several PAGES.

I guess it really is true. Most online dating is just about sex for men and money women can make off that desire.

As someone replied to the OP-who cares.

Sex Search is a mixed bag. I met 2 women thru it and they were very real. Unfortunately, I liked one but she blew me off, then the other liked me but I didn't dig her. I also got alot of written responses but few were willing to take the next step and meet. Alot of the women who are on these sites Like most of these sites, you've got to throw allot of s**t against the wall until something finally sticks.

It is a scam and they are still running today. Unfortunately, they get away with it. It is a risk that goes with sites like this. They will lie to you and tell you what you want to hear. There's not much any one person can do about it. An expensive lesson to learn. There are some people who have no conscience or scruples. Live and learn.

I came to the conclusion it was a scam right away, I may stick with it a little longer just for fun. I'm an older guy getting a fair amount of emails from these hot young women; that doesn't really happen in real life. A lot of them are from thousands of miles away; why would they write to someone they are never going to meet? Then they don't reply.

Here's my take. There are pictures of beautiful women, and then not so beautiful. The beautiful ones (that don't need help getting dates, sex or anything else) send me IM's and emails. I'm not a member yet and don't reply. They keep writing back until you're curious enough to join, and then you send them an email and never hear from them again. I'm sure they are saleswomen (salesmen??) on a commission to sign up new members. I think that if they are the first email in your inbox, they get the commission. Also, gotta wonder why the babes pay to have silver and gold memberships??

Has anyone successfully had their CC company deny and reverse the charge? What wording do you have to use to get through? I think there are certainly valid women with profiles, but doesn't that clear sexsearch of fraud. If there are 10,000 spammers, hookers and commissioned reps (probably men posing as women) and 1 real woman that clears them from fraud. DUHHHH

Sexsearch is a total scam!
Joined 11/2008 just took me 1 week to figure it out! When I first joined several women wrote to me--same ole' garbage, "tell me when you will be online so we could chat" "maybe we can hookup" ect. ect. I write them, and POOF! no replies. I guess my e-mail letters went off in space somewhere!
My opinion this site makes money on dreams and promises that never comes plus they hope you get hooked on all the porn so you buy into it. THE SAD THING IS ABOUT ALL OF THIS IS: IF SOMEONE DECIDED TO RUN A REAL SITE WITH REAL PEOPLE THEY WOULD AND COULD STILL MAKE A FORTUNE!!!!!!!

I experienced the same thing others here have mentioned, i.e., plenty of attractive women contacting me, but then never following up.

I signed up for a 3-day trial only, but then sexsearch billed me again for a 30-day charge, claiming I chose that option. I had no way to prove that I hadn't chosen it even though I was sure that I hadn't opted for another 30 days.

This site seems to be operated by shills who keep leading men on, likely to upgrade their membership and part with more money.

Some shills are rather insipid. I had a distinct and specific profile, and one asked me to tell her about myself. Others said they wanted to arrange to meet in person, but would never follow up.

It is my opinion that sexsearch is a scam. Stay away from them.

There was one chick that turned out to be real but it didn't pan out. I got one e-mail from some chick wanting a pic of my beef stick. She actually seemed legit. Pic wasn't of a super model. Thing is, I already had a couple in my profile. But I'm like, "whatever", I have no reason to be shy when it comes to that. So I send her the pic. She tells me I'm a really handsome and sexy guy with a big dick that she's drooling for. I ask her when she wants to meet up. No reply. I ask her for a pic or two, twice, and no reply. Funny, right?

So now I'm in a pickle. One chick, with a modelquality profile pic, e-mailed me saying this, exactly:

"Subject: Are you a player, or a player hater?

Message: Hi, before you decide to erase this message let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm a really hot, horny, slut in dire need of a man who knows how to play the game right. I don't care about how you look, your age, profession, or even the size of your wallet, just the motion of your ocean. So, if you're kinky, hit me back! I'll be waiting."

Okay, so I reply,

"It depends on what game you want to play. But yeah, I'm feeling pretty kinky right now, not to mention horny. Message me back and we can set something up."

She says,

"Ok so how do you want to start this?"

I make a large reply about maybe meeting half way or driving all the way down there. 3 hour drive. Then I ask her what she's into when it comes to sex. What kinky things was she into. I get this in response:

"I'm ok with us meeting halfway."

Really? One line? I don't know how to respond. I mean, there are some real chicks on there. I know this for a fact. I talked to one on Yahoo and she was definitely legit. Didn't pan out because apparently, I'm not Brad Pitt. She flaked when I showed her a picture of me wearing glasses. Don't have them on at the site. I'm not exactly a skinny nerd either. I have a good build and I've been noted as "hot" by several real women. But yeah, thems the breaks. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if I'm going to end up with a hot woman, or some beast that goes by the name of Bubbalina.

One last thing, and this worries me quite a bit. I read up on some of the lawsuits on google. Apparently some guy by the name of John Doe, met up with one of the chicks online. Here's a snippet:

"An anonymous plaintiff, John Doe, sued SexSearch after he met a fellow user, Jane Roe, whose profile stated that she was born on June 15, 1987, which would have made her 18 at the time. Her profile also contained an authentic picture of her, and a statement that her ideal man was one with some staying power. Sounds great, right?"

Well he met up with her and he had sex with her. Apparently, he woke up the next day surrounded by cops. Turned out she was 14. They met up at their family home. He sued sexsearch but they got off scott free. He gets 10 years in prison. He was a moron for not verifying her age but there are many underage girls out there who look older, so I could see why he could be fooled. I know a 24 year old woman who looks 15. Now I have no desire to have sex with an under age girl. I may be lonely at the moment, but I'm not a sicko. 17 is questionable for me, but not prison-worthy questionable.

Now guess what it says in this chick's profile:

"Someone with staying power to keep me pleasured and is open to having fun an exploring new things"

Yeah. She mailed back 3 times so it's not just some one-shot scam, though they were short one-liners. Don't see why a common sexsearch faker would want to keep e-mailing me back. Any way I can help verify this chick without scaring her off?

Here's the link to the full page about the underage girl.

It took me many months as a paying customer and was scammed by profiles that seemed to go nowhere. They never show up when confronted. They try to keep you involved but never seem to be real people. I would received messages to keep me as a paid member but none of any realness. I think the site has IT techs that play around with people and get their information and pictures for potential use to embarass you later if necessary. That is if you desire to become something important, they can use that information against you.
I also noticed that almost all the profiles with 1 or less pic, will never meet you.

Don't bother...
Sexsearch sucks! I had tons of messages when I used the free trial, once I signed up. The messages stopped suddenly once you pay, you loose...
The pics of the attractive women that show up in my city are real, but the women where from allover the States and did not lock on to their account for over 6 months... The site has serious technical difficulties and if you contact customer support you get generated messages as a reply. In on case I had an email from a women interested but the email did not show up in my inbox on sexsearch for 10 days. Sexsearch does NOT provide email notification if you receive an email from a person interested...
My recommendation is to save the money... Sexsearch SUCKS BIG TIME!

This website is absolutely scam. I was charged for $29.95 and I want a refund. I wonder if those people who made this have a conscience. I can't imagine that they can live and put foods in their mouths coming from unethical, lies, and illegal business they're doing to other people.

well now, i must say that i had good luck on sex search. i didn't like going to the site very often because i would be bombarded by instant messages from men wanting to play online which is the point but most of them had no class and would appear already stroking their s**t. i met a couple of guys and a couple of girls and had fun online and off. YES, there are women on there that only want the men to go to another site and have to pay. where is the billing coming from though? i never had to give a credit card and i was able to email, instant message, everything. if you couldn't find someone on the site when you searched for them then they may have had their profile hidden at the time, you can do that. you can set it up to be notified when you receive an email or interest. if you didn't have a pic up that could be why you had no luck and if you did have a pic up maybe no one was interested. my rule was to stick close to my home though and not try to hook up with people that are states away or countries for that matter. i would chat with some from other states or countries, but actually "hooking up" i saved for people close to me.

Hey guys...yet another word of warnning!! SexSeach.com is a huge fking scam. Like its been stated on here before, I've experience the whole bullshyt email thing. Sometimes u receive a contact from a chick that says she wants to meet etc.... however after u take the time to respond, amazingly...u never hear anything back. Or, u can receive a message via email and u can't access it. Or, u receive the same thing yet ur never notified about it until u stumble across it in ur 'Inbox' marked 'unread'...LOL It's fking amazing how much this person(s) is making and not delivering shyt to the paying customer. Also, after my paid membership had expired, I'm still getting the same service as I did before I paid for it (like a complete dumbass)....and I paid to be a 'Gold' member. In closing, if u're reading these reviews while thinking about becoming a member, don't be stupid like me and all the others....lol

Thank goodness I only spent the $1.95 trial membership and called and cancelled on the second day when I had all these hot woman that wanted to hook up with me (i had no pic on the site) and they wouldnt leave a number or ever respond to when and where. This is the first time I have checked out this thread. Man, if so many of you have tried sexsearch.com and gotten conned by it, wouldn't it ever occur to you that maybe sex itself is OVERRATED??? I mean, come on, if all you other guys can do is sit in front of a computer and dream up ways to get sex for free, then you need a hobby or something. Seriously.

Sure looks like a scam to me. They sent me emails with pics of women 20 yrs younger than me and when I try to reply or look at profiles or anything it just sends me to a blank page or (usually) a page asking me to "upgrade" my membership and asking for a credit card. My spyware keeps blocking *censored* too so I will probably un-join or spam-block them soon.

My two cents are the same as most everyone elses. I signed up as a general member for the month. No one responded in any way shape or form to my e-mails which really means nothing I guess. HOWEVER, the only e-mails I would receive would be sent at 3 or 4 in the morning. This morning for instances, I received 4 messages in the middle of the night from 4 different users. Three of the four messages read the same thing! The four was a very scripted message as well. I received a dozen messages over the month and they were all the same. Of the couple of messages I replied to, I never heard anything back.

I've been a member of Sexsearch.com for 5 years. I am female and my profile was totally honest.. I have not been very active lately to know one way or the other whether honesty has been the best policy. I will say, however, that I met one man from the site with whom I became fairly good firends and lovers for a while. The reason the relationship ended was because I moved away. I have met others but the chemistry wasn't there for me. Of course, as the site's name implies, it's primarily intended for sexual gratification, and is not supposed to be a "dating" service such as Match.com ~ not intended to be a vehicle to find one's soul mate. That is primarily why I have not been active lately. However, so as to discount the "scam" theory ~ I had positive experiences. I don't know what other weirdos out there are doing ~ but I was sincere in my intentions.

Sexsearch is definitely a scam.

The canned responses, the dead end conversations, the identical wording of some of the emails, the invitations to porn sites, the FLOOD of spam.....

And generally, if anything is too good to be true, it probably is.

Which is more likely:

1. Sexsearch.com is a scam praying on lonely stupid people

or

2. Sexsearch.com is the fountain of free and easy sex partners you have been looking for all your life.

The answer is #1.

If I was buying an automobile, or a blender, or a vacation getaway, I would have researched reviews of the products. Why didn't I look for reviews on sexsearch.com. And what might they be doing with your email and other personal information?

And most of all, what made me think this ridiculous porn site was going to help me hook up with actual people ?

Do not give sexsearch any money !

I've been on sexsearch for several months as a silver member and have gotten contacted by quite a few girls, and met 2 of them in person. they were exactly as their profile said.

However..there are quite a few camhost girls on there that simply want you to join their webcam.com site.

Hello,

I have met many women at Sex Search, that I chat with often. Most women want to chat and get to know you, talk on the phone, before they meet. Of these, I have met 3 in person, though meeting women within a half hour of driving is difficult. It's like the bars, do you get laid every time you go? Don't expect to get laid just cause you signed up. Every dating site has few women and 10X the number of men. You need to put in some time, just like when you want a relationship with someone. I assume it is no different at the other sites. True though, there are a lot of bogus profiles, and "Cam Girls" just looking to snag you to "vote" for them, "register" at their site, get free webcam at their "site" etc, don't go there, unless you want to have your credit card number stolen and billed for more then you signed up for.

signed, Dude

SexSearch.com is full of ess aich eye tea!

It's like most people said about SexSearch.com. IT'S FULL OF CRAP!!!! I remember being a gold member for a little more than a month. Before I really signed up, I received a lot of messages, but couldn't read them because I had to sign up. When I did, I was able to read them. However, I didn't get many messages when I signed up. Even though I sent messages to some females who replied to me once or twice, I recommend all of you who reads this and other reviews here or on other sites about SexSearch.com to NEVER SIGN UP FOR IT!! I never even gotten any messages to most girls that were even online at all! And the Payment thing is just B.S. Even though the price may satisfy you, You'll end up paying more than you want to. Just like someone said when he reviewed that FAKE dating site, "sex is overrated". You're better off going on EHARMONY. I don't know much about it, but it must be that good if it has made commercials. We also need people on YouTube, Myspace, and other sites like that to tell everyone that sites like SexSearch.com is a freakin' scam bent on taking your money with the least amount of satisfaction. If someone is reading this PLEASE FOR EVERYONE'S LOVE AND MONEY, warn everyone about the site and others related to it. Because I don't think that these reviews are catching people's attention as it should have.

Yes I could not agree more... I think sexsearch is a scam, i paid for a 1 month gold membership and have a few messages in the beginning from good looking women too, I notice how there most of there pictures nenver have a proper background and are sometimes a little blurry.. I mean come on, who takes pictures where there is not something going on behind them or are very clear, of course if your real your going to want to put your best picture up arent you?? Also there profiles and info is short and sweet!! Never do you get a real insight to those people at all, why coz they are fake just like when you reply to them they do not reply back.. sometime they do but again its only a one liner to string you along.. So I cancelled my subscription two days ago and all of a sudden I have 6 messages in my inbox, coincidence?? I think not!! They want my money again... Just to add im not an ugly guy and I know that if someone really wanted to talk to me the would say a bit more than a few lines.. But I do beleive there are a few real men and women on there but not many at all!! If you a guy I think you will just get strung along!! If you a women then your probably ok as I bet there are more guys to girls which is why they feel the have to send you these messages rather than you leave there site.. I aint no sucker!! I have cancelled, not too sure if AFF is any better?? I here good things about that one but now I think I will be very sceptical about these sites, get myself down a club a meet some real people who really want some adult fun! you wiv me?? Wink

so, for my 2 cents, i signed up as a basic member, went out and read all these fourms and what not, then i did my own little experiment. if you log off as a basic memeber and log back on right away, you instantly get 2 girls who want to msg you but none after that no matter how long you stay on, so as you all have said before, its defiantly a scam, cause i even tried to go thru the "online people" to find some of these screen names, not there. there might be some legit ppl on there, but its not worht it at all

I have only paid about $4 bucks on this site. There seems to be local girls, but obviously this is a money grab scam. They constantly send you emails of girls that want to meet. They are the girls you have looked at!! I have created several free acounts and they all receive the same emails! I also have had very good luck in cancelling my membership. I once signed up for a month, emailed CC Billing to cancel and they did. I never saw the months subscription price.

I live in the UK and travel all over and trust me I know the difference between an American and British girl!
This site has tonnes of phoney profiles of American girls with profiles stating that they reside in London UK.
But obviously something clicks when you notice in some pics the girls have on High school or college type Jerseys with their US state written across the front. Or they're in doors with a bikini and shorts on. (Trust me the UK aint sunny California)
The site does have some real women on it but very few! Unfortunately like a mug I'm out around £50. The site is a complete con and rip off and the owners need a slap>

A total waste of time, don't waste your money. The people on there are not real, just generic profiles. Total scam. You get a flurry of emails (which are probably automated!) by so-called horny girls, you send them a message back, but they never reply back, which is very odd if they were as horny as they originally said. I think the site want you to stay on there as long as possible so they can make money from you! Stay away from the site.

She's alright looking and only 19
HOWEVER
the other 40 girls that emailed me and that i emailed i think are super gorgeous and super fake

I just signed up doing the free profile, but did not use my credit card on line, all because I had
some feeling in my gut that something wasn't right. I contacted customer service, what I found it was
a generic email if you could use a Visa or Master card gift card that someone would give you. Well, according
to Sexsearch.com they require a CVV2 code on the back of the card. I've heard this is tied to your address.

Can anyone tell me if you can completely delete your profile online?

Please let me know.

i'm absolutely positive that sexsearch is a scam. woman contact you sayung they're interested in hooking up and than you never hear anything else from them. also, alot of "escorts" and "models" use this site to meet tricks and to get your credit card information. had alot of women contact me and try to get me to go to another pay site thats supposedly free. the thing is, i have chatted with a few woman from this site, so some of them are real people being conned and scammed...i'll never upgrade or pay that site more money

After joining and if u serious about hook up and put in some work....like a man should really do Big Grin Big Grin .....trustt me it is worth it.

The site is cool.....cause it makes you do immediate chat with the ladies.......unlike other site.........

It really up to the individual!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well... in an OCEAN of hugely negative experience, I notice a couple of testimonies that state that you CAN actually meet someone on SexSearchCom.

It's not entirely impossible that, although overflowing with fake messages of non-existing people who supposedly want to hook up with you - to make as many people pay for premium membership as possible, obviously - you MIGHT actually be able to MEET someone through that site.

I still notice that both the positive comments mentionned are anonymous (sure, like the majority of all posts on this forum, I know lol) - so they might as well have been sent by sexsearchcom partners, right?

I'll pass on sexsearchcom. In face of all the people who never made even ONE SINGLE CONTACT on there, it's not worth the money and time to discover if it's genuine or fake.

And there's *AdultFriendFinder*, which offers a lot for free (be it only the chatrooms) - so I'd rather give them my money to find out if the people listed as in my area actually exist or not.

Good luck to everyone... *sigh* Cool

GENTLEMAN SHALL WE SETTLE THIS.........

If ya have been duped like me then do this if ya bit naive about the site.

Pick as many girls as you can who are 'local'. As you know the area ask them a few Q's about it.
I had a girl who was supposed to be from the UK so I asked her where she goes out in her 'home' town.
Watch them stutter through and in the end they will call you a jerk-american insult lol and leave!!

I had a girl with the american flag all over her bed sheet...but she lived in Luton!!!!!!!!

IT IS A SCAM IN MANY WAYS!!

I'm sure that some guy somewhere got laid...but for the other 99% of us its sh**e!!

Very obviously a fake. I hadn't even created a profile and I was getting pop ups saying women wanted to chat or meet me in person. I put "just testing" into all the fields so I could see if it was for real before I made any effort. Why would women want to meet someone with no profile or picture or anything at all? Because they are fake responses from fake women. Probably some prick in South or Central America is making 10 cents per message he sends to unsuspecting people. After I spent money on Onlinebootycall.com, which got me responses from "women" that only wanted me to sign up for webcam sites, I have been very suspicious of these types of sites.

This site is a scam with out a doubt! I tried it a year ago, and didn't get any response after getting allot of responses before I became a member.
Once I joined the responses stopped. Now here's the kicker! My dumb ass decided to give it another try last month to see if things might be different,
but it's still the same old game! They lure you in by sending you all of these women who say that they are interested in you, and once you become a member it stops! I saved the ones that said they had an interest, and responded to them once I became a member, and I've have not heard from any of them! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE! Evil

I joined Sexsearch as a non paying member, and keep getting invitaitions to join a chat or meet someone. When I try to link to that person the site directs me to pay a fee. I doubtful about this and have not paid. Anyone out there any recommendations. Should i pay and join or is this the way the scam works and once you join and have paid, the contacts are not real.

I wanted to share my thoughts about this site since, I tried something that you all might be aware of from the past. Two of my associates
created profiles, one female and the other male. The female used a total nude picture and wrote up a nice profile, after 15 minute of approval she
was able to communicate with guy with no problem. After she logged out, she tried to login with the password that was given to her by the site and it would work.
She clicked on forgot password, was brought back to a site to enter her email, she did and said it was not valid and to create the account. Same also held true for
my male associate got rejected. After having a meeting with them we determined that Sex Search.Com checks to see if the IP Address has any value to making the profile.
Our guess was correct, that is why we got rejected.

Also my male friend had a chat window come up and wanted to chat with the guy, since he didn't pay but got the chat window, I had him give the screen name to my female friend and do a search, turns out the profile didn't show up was a FAKE.

We also found that when you first login to the home page you see Who's On Cam", this is very interesting since its the same six guys rotating through out showing on-line. Unless they are using Wo Fat's special food from China, to chat for 24 hours a day non-stop, it too is a FAKE! Even Mr.McGarrett of Hawaii Five-O thinks its a fake. He and I don't see eye to eye! (Little humor).

Also when the profiles got rejected we tried contacting customer service they never responded, even about the billing. There is something wrong with this site! We tried to send an email to Sexsearch.com and the email through Yahoo came back with error saying communication is shutting down, this is when we put in the To: field is when we get the error.

Can anyone give me information about putting it on a credit card, were any purchase after you joined Sex Search.com fraud? Please write me and let me know.

In the meantime, I have to run can't be caught by Mr. McGarrett of Hawaii Five-O

Your friend,

Wo Fat

Hello, My female associate created a man profile on the computer she was using today, the profile she had setup last week was just
disconnected when she logged in using the same computer she created the profile today on, it asked for user name and password.
So, it is driven by IP Address, this means if you have two people using the same computer one of the profiles will get deleted. The only way around
this would be to recreate the profile again. PLEASE DO NOT USE SEX SEARCH ITS CRAZY THE WAY ITS RUN!!!!

Probably Mr. McGarrett had it disconnected, from Hawaii Five-O

Signed

Hello again, thought I give you an update on Sex Search.Com.

Seems that one of my associates created a profile on his girlfriends computer that she created yesterday for herself. Both profiles were created at different times but the same computer was used. When she was chatting with one of the guys, she noticed the login box, User Name and Password showed up in the background asking her to login. She was locked out of the web site profile was disabled. However, it does give you the option to create another profile which she did and used the same email address as before but went to a different computer to create the profile again. When she got home the profile didn't take she was refused again. We now have figured out that if you use the same computer and same IP Address along with the same email address ladies, the profile will be rejected. From what we can tell, this is being watched by the Sex Search people. I also believe that when you chat they can see what is going on and will remove your profile.

Customer service doesn't even talk to the users, doesn't exist.

I wanted to share this bit of information with all of you. If you can give me any input about Sex Search.Com I be grateful to you.

This site does need to be shutdown.

I've been a member of sexsearchcom.com now for about a month first of all i live in Northern Ireland so our currency is GBP, i took the offer of the trial at $1.95 then the 1 month gold member ship for $34.99 both were billed in GBP at £1.95 and £34.95 which is more near $57 usd complained but no one listens at epoch, canceled my billing last night.

what lead me here is all my searches and fancies and people who view my profile dont look like girls from here seriously all my searches seem to be located in Belfast which isnt near me and im not putting myself down but they are seriously hot in their pictures and well why would they go for a guy like me, their not internet bots as they can comment on my clothes and hair colour etc.

I'm starting to think it's a scam myself the site seems to be filled with bogus members and my photo which i uploaded more than a month ago for main profile image is still under review which makes me feel like the moderation team if there is one doesn't seem to exist.

Futhermore it's one of those sites that your supposed to be able to hook up with members however you cant give out your number or email address or messaging, all the members who show online dont seem to have the im feature enabled and there's either a delay in messages or its the same person because one minute i will recieve a message from 1 of my contacts then the other 9 send a message too, i noticed on your control panel too it shows "active profile" which you can select which username you want to use, makes me wonder could someone have all the names on that list and just be changing them.

a couple more factors i want to throw into this message, i have contacts which when you speak to them their really interested in you, you tell them alot then the next minute their asking you same questions which the answers are shown on the email responses list.

Another one is there's a few girls who aparently live less than a mile away from me and i asked around and no ones ever even heard of them or seen them before.

Makes you wonder who's real and who's not and can i get my money back lol.

Sexsearchcom has 1 option "if you dont met anyone within 90 days youll get your money back" well i suppose if you meet someone on the site that means you met them if not in person

Aswell as that i would like to add this.

Im from Northern Ireland / UK most of the girls which are aprently from belfast are unable to even let me know what time it is or name somewhere local i asked one that was Aparently in Belfast of what they thought of the "Free Derry Wall" i got a response saying that its one of the most popular places in Belfast and they would go there ofter.,

Cough to any idiot DERRY is in DERRY not Belfast any idiot from there would know that.

Futher more they are all responding at 2am or after in my time one even said they had to goto work at 9am when they were apprently in my town, it was actually going on 2pm my time, now if you calculate Canada is 5 hours behind me meaning they wernt at all here.

LISTEN UP ALL! I have been this site a year now and i can tell you all from my experience. There are some real girls on that site that want sex, but it very rare to contact or chat with them. Beware of photo that don't look real of them self. For example: Ask then if they have extra photo, if not then don't bother. Next! If you found a girls that interest you. Check to see if you can open a chat message. If not then don't bother. Read their profile carefully and if you ever notice some of the text if similar to the other girls profile. All sex sites are scam. If you want to encounter real girl then go out to club, bars, or party. Those are the one you can get a chance to have sex or get to know them.

All sex scam sites only want your hard earn money. I'm glad i didn't upgrade because i know some was fishy about the sites. You all right about when you first join. They would email you and send photo of fake girl photo. You would hardly get email back from those same ladies. Don't waste your hard earn money. You can find real lady out doors. Trust me! I meet and found real lady in public than online. These sex scam sites try to persuade sex craving men to join these site, Don't do it. They want your money. I'm going to canel my membership soon.

very definitely a scam, stay well clear of this site or it will cost you dearly, e-mails etc flood in to tempt you, then when you join forget it they just dry up, x rated films are mostly 2 - 3 min. clips the sort you can see anywhere on the net, the 'chat rooms' are the pay type, the whole site is bogus, plus the spam gates will be opened so be warned, i rate it - 20 out of 10.

Yes sexsearch is a SCAM. I was only interested in meeting black women aged over the age of 40 and this was clearly stated on my profile, yet I got several supposed contacts, all by white women in their 30's. Not one of the replies refered to anything in my profile and although they supposedly came from women in in the UK, they used US spelling on those words which differ in UK/US spelling.

Yes, SexSearch.com is a scam. Like an idiot I joined, and soon after it dawned on me: I had (once again!) allowed my male propensities to override my sense of reason. Within 24 hours of signing up, I already got many "meet invites" from attractive, local twenty-somethings. How convenient. And how foolish of me to fall for it. I just hope that all I lost was 150 bucks. Angry

I joined this site 3 days ago. I had 2 request to meet, 1 for friends and 3 emails, all within 24 hours of joining and before any photo was uploaded. I've since had 2 IC chat windows opened by members who's screen name cannot be found in the websites member search.

I'm in the UK and about 90% of my search criteria results, are made up of members who have been inactive for 6 months or more.

Copied from their T&C's

I wonder if the bogus contacts are an "Online Emissary"?

To make sure they do NOT re-bill your account, go to the payment processor website,

https://epoch.com/billingsupport

Enter the required info.
Click the ACTION button, this will cancel the Auto Re-billing setting.
You will receive an email to confirm this. Keep the conformation email in a safe place.

I'm sorry that you think this site is a scam. I've enjoyed it.

Half and Half, yes there are some dodgy profiles on there - I'd say about 80% of the chat pops ups are cam-girls. And it's not hard to see from the profile pics who are the cam girls and who are not.
But saying that, there are a lot of genuine profiles on there, so I would say NO to this site being a scam. From personal experience, some profiles on there are real and yes these girls / women will meet up to get there brains f****d.
Enjoy..! LOL

If you are in the UK and do a "My Latest Match" search, about 70% of the UK search results are members who have been inactive for 6 or more months.

I assume they keep them to bolster their claim about how many members they have, even if a majority are bogus.

Absolutely, a scam. buyers beware. I got messages from a few people. I replied, and never heard back from them again. Some messages I
received were the same. Angry These people should be put out of business, and shut down. How cruel. Somebody has a house on the hill by running this scam on people who trusted that this was legit. Should be dragged out into the streets, and shot in the head.

There is a huge difference between UK and the USA Female membership.

UK female members are few and far between. Sexsearch tries to boots the number of female members, by displaying females from their sister site PassionSearch whose motto is "Flirt, Date Fall In Love". PassionSearch members are looking for something completely different, and I wonder how many of them know their profiles are being displayed on a Sex Search website.

Michael are you a USA or UK member?

Hi I just joined for a trial period to see what the score was really, I'm 21 and not bad looking, was just looking for some fun, in 24 hours since joining I've had about 12 profile views from women aged 27-32 and about half of them have sent me emails and/or meet up requests. None of them are stunners just good to reasonable looking and have multiple pictures and stuff. I thought it was all good till I came across this site, I just want some opinions, anyone think these contacts are legit? Or should I bail out while I still can? I appreciate any advice cheers. If you read some of the posts, you will know its a ploy to get you to pay for full membership. No woman in her right mind will request to meet someone she has not previously contacted. Make sure your brain does all the thinking and not your mojo.

Take note of their screenname, if its explicit, it's 99% bogus.
Look carefully at the colours in the photo, the features of the face if there is one.
Some pics have been scanned from magazines, other look like they were taken in the 60's - 70's.
Some have very explicit pics.
Some show the full face of the person, have explicit text descriptions and the profile states their occupation as a Teacher? (think about it).

If you get an IC chat window, take note on the member ID to check after they close the window or simply do not respond. DO NOT GIVE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IN IC CHAT, you will end up with spam, and when you check the ID it will not be found in the screenname database search.

There are a FEW genuine UK female members. I've been exchanging emails with them for a women's perspective of this site. None of them have explicit photos or text in their profiles.

Thanks for the advice SD, yeah I thought so as far as the meeting requests were concerned, that would just be crazy. I have read a lot of the other comments and noticed a few positives dotted among the negatives.
None of the screen names are explicit, I think you may be right about some pics being scanned, a few were quite grainy looking.
So that's whittled it down to 3 possible genuine ones I have left lol, oh well I guess I''ll have to wait to go back to uni in October for my girl fix.

If you want to meet real people face to face, then Sexsearch is definitely a scam.

1. If you join and cancel, you will have trouble getting them to stop drafting your credit card.

2. Even after you finally cancel, and get your credit card company involved, they will send you invitations to come back - do not reply, even to say that you want your name removed from their mailing list .

3. MOST of the auto match contacts are dead ends. There probably are real people using sexsearch, but if the person you are automatched with never replies or replies only once with some broken English non-sense, it is probably not a real person.

I foolishly paid for a 90 day trial in December. About 60 days into my 90 day trial, I closed my account. I thought that was the end of it. I wasn't even trying to get my money back, I just figured it was a lesson learned. Guess what happened ? At the end of 90 days, sexsearch auto renewed my account for another 90 days, even though I had CLOSED and CANCELLED my account, "hid my account", and set all of my "contact preferences to NO. Dozens of fruitless emails to sexsearch later, I had to contact my credit card company to get the charge reversed. So here it is over 6 months later, and I am STILL getting "match SPAM".

Sexsearch will give you some excuse that you closed your account but did not specify not to renew.... like it is some kind of misunderstanding. There is no misunderstanding these people. They get your credit card number and charge you until you die.

Do not use sexsearch. The contacts I received were dead ends. And you will never be able to get sexsearch to quit charging your credit card.

99% of searching is a waste of your time. you find out that you get fake responses or people who jerk you around. the only good matches are with people who don't live anywhere near you. you do get the scam letter of i live in africa and they want money to take care of their child, and the will repay 4 times as much. i had someone take the photos i sent them and place them in other ads over the internet. for a site that people join for sex i found out the hard way that it is very difficult to meet anyone who actually wants have sex.

Like many of the people here I paid for a membership, and also like many here I got the obligatory emails that led nowhere. During my time, I corresponded with only one woman who I think was actually legit. After reading all the comments here, I promptly cancelled my subscription to the service, and was pleasantly surprised to receive the cancellation confirmation that stated I would no longer be billed after the subscrition expires. I thought for sure they would string me along and continue to charge my CC. I've still got until September to find out if they do. A lesson well learned, and it didn't cost much...so far at least.

I am willing to throw away $30 just to get in touch with her, but not by phone. Question is, if I join, what info will the site allow in the email? Will it let me give another email address, or do they filter that info out? If I can't send my email address, I see no point in joining, since she will have no way to respond.

Seriously, just sign up as a girl, and upload a pic, hide your profile, and you get a FREE gold membership.
and just you watch, if you dont hide your profile, you will see why girls go lesbian.

ALWAYS ask a question they cant refuse to asnwer, and if the reply doesnt include your original message, or, has nothing to do with the question, then its a spammer.
ive been on adultfriendfinder for years, and there is, like all profile sites, alot of spammers.
but the guaranteed way to pick em out, is what i just typed.
BTW, i have 2 accounts on sexsearch, one male, one female.
anyone the messages me on the male one, i look at with the female one to see if they are real or not.
if you dont try to hook up right away, its VERY entertaining, and sometimes the best comedy you can find online.

Have fun and never send personal info. make them give you their phone number if anything.
it took me 3 minutes to get a girls number on Sexsearch on my female account. it takes me about 30 minutes doing it in person at a club or bar.

They are about 99% fake ads. If you are fat bald and married and want to nail a swimsuit model, you are not going to get a ton of responses to your ad. If you don't mind chatting up a fatty for a few months to get her to polish your knob, you will do alright.

I found out about SexSearch.com when my boyfriend asked me to take over his checking and billing when he was suppose to be deployed overseas. I was shocked, hurt and devastated. I called them and talked to some wonderful people. Needless to say my boyfriend wasn't deployed. Never admitted to this site. Said he was doing "research". Don't ask what kind. I don't wanna know. I finally had, had it and deactivated his account and at the same time found out that he had a gmail account. I went online to this site prior to deactivating his account to try to find him and actually have started to talk to someone who is very nice. I am guarded. I have been devastated by all of this. But as a site I think you have to be very very careful. The customer service people were fantastic with me. I told them my story and one woman said she'd deactivate it immediately for me, but i told her to wait until I called back.

Yeah its a frigging joke. Most of the sites I tried were all the same. All chicks from overseas wanting a vote or a lil favor. I got trapped the first time around on the age verification deal, and most of these girls have automated IMs just ask the same thing in a diffrent way and you get the same answer. All a scam, I got ropped in and set up Im lucky my CC has real low limit. Ive cancelled all my subscripsions since. Stay away. believe it of not the two sites that are any good are ****.com and match.com . At least there real.

I uploaded a couple pf nude shots, what a fool! Either the person I chatted to or more likely someone at sexsearch.com has taken the photos and spread them around the internet without my permission. Thus my neighbours and co-workers have been giving my a hard time of late :-(.
I feel like taking action against them, but don't know what I can do. Any ideas?

SexSearch is a total scam. I've had about 30 women contact me and claim they want to hook up but it nevers happens. We write back and forth 3 or4 times and then they stop. It's the same crap. Don't waste your money. The only way that you're going to get f---ed is them sticking it up your ass.

Exclamation I read alot of these reviews and also joined Sexsearch. Being stupid I took the Gold part, and on accident got duked for one year membership. Oh well. On the site you have a split of 20% real women and 80% fake! Listen people, in my own life i'm not consider a good looking guy. Like most Men who joined. you probaly where on a porn site. See the connection? True players and good looking men will pick up these women on the site and on the street Most Men who watch porn do to jack off because number of chances to meet real women on the street. If you are average or live in a small town, you are mostly get fake request or spammers. If you posted a picture you need to ask yourself this (if you are below average looking ) if a knockout female sent you email would this same give you the time of day on the street? You need to lower your standards and to pick up the real women on this site. Remember this though, if you are mad about women who email then after a while don't reply, how many women make the first move anyways? I noticed that the number emails you get stop when you stay off the site, and if you get a email it is someone real even though after I send a picture they don't reply back. To get my money back I decided to have fun and made two fake Female profile to see who trying to email the profile. One is described as a smoking hot women and the other is a chubby women. Guess which one got more emails.
Not to write a novel but all match sites from dating to sex are a little phony. You are being judged by your looks. On sex sites, only good looking guys are going to get lucky. Rest of us are not players and should join a dating site. Don't join Plenty of Fish or Match.com if you aren't goodlooking. To many people, and the chances are slim on Plenty Of Fish because its free. Try Eharmony or Matchmaker. I met more people on Eharmony and about to meet someone for the six time since I joined in january 09. sexsearch with the same picture 0. So thats that, if Sexsearch isn't working for you then I might of helped you. Please don't sit around and get mad, cancel gold and joined a dating site (outside the two above). I suggest Eharmony, but when they match you up with someone, lower your standards on some of them and try to talk to them You never know, because the one i'm meeting looks special the the other five. Wake up give Sexsearch a rest.

I recognize some of the photo from elsewhere but made the wrong assumption that the women were posting the photos now I feel that most of the women are plants.

I had joined this site, with no e-mails or contacts whatsoever for over a year. I recently cancelled my credit card, and suddenly I've got sixteen "private messages" and like 9 "wants to chat" e-mails in 3 days. I look at the dates, and they started exactly the day the next time my billing would have gone through. I no longer use the original e-mail address I registered with because I get so much spam now it is insane.

Twisted ...ah, one more thing ...I got my money back. I called them and told them I was not happy with the service and I told them that it seems to me just a scam...as I was speaking to a ...zombie...I asked for the Supervisor, unfortunately I had to use a bit of force with the zombie one, but the Supervisor was nice and regredited the "gold" level...and earlier I called the customer service and told them i cancel and want my money back...LOOK, they know they are at fault so do not stand for it, in fact if everyone that thinks got ...boned, would call in and raise their voices and threaten them ...gently...I would think that something in that site could change, perhaps close it, but ...that is the way I see it, may not be the right way but...

oh ...almost forgot, not only I got my money back but I still have access to the site, GOLD level...FREE!!!!!!!

Well I have been a member since March and what a rip off this site has proved to be. If you do get a reply, which is rare your lucky to get maybe one or two messages and then?..........Nothing!!!!!! The profiles show the girls always active within 24 hours but once you have had 1 to 2 messages you never get any reply. Itseems that if you do not enter for a few days you then get messages but once you do sign in and respond the girls no longer reply, this has happened on 17 to 18 occasions. Forget trying to message people near you. You never get a reply. I feel very bad about the experience and the fact they have my money. What a mug I was! I have also tried two other sites with the same experience, Sex in the UK and Adult Friend Finder. Any one who says the above is great must be working for them.

Wow, There are a few quirky things with the site, but i've had decent results chatting with lots of different ladies. Understand that (my opinion only) that a bunch of horney guys swamp any decent looking female with so many I'M's that most of the time they cant even check there e-mails let alone converse with anyone without getting kicked tied up on-line. Point in fact: my girl friend started her gold account and within months had almost 8 thousand views and contacts from a bunch of horney bastards that obviously never read her profile. And everytime she trys to go online she is buried with so many IM"S she cant get anything done. We have met some weirdo's and met some nice people including a couple of great sexual encounters that was exactly what we were looking for. Lots of fun free stuff including lots of video's to checkout. This is what it is people!!! Far from perfect but dont expect to have women to be lining up guys unless ur some type of god! The ladies are the one's getting all the action, especially if there hot.

Well I just signed up for a month and it seems ok so far. If and when it turns to crap I'll let you know. Just an observation though. The guys that think they're going to pull replies from decent women by posting pics of their ugly mis-shapen dicks are kidding themselves. Unbelievably stupid and then they complain when they don't get any genuine replies. Wouldn't mind betting there's a web crawler that seeks these morons out and spams them. There's a sucker born every minute.

Yes, that site is a total rip-off. I joined looking for a sugar daddy. They wouldn't let me put in my profile that I was only interested in meeting a sugar daddy and what my expectations were, so I got totally inundated with messages from people who weren't offering what I was looking for. I had to go through about 30 emails to find one that was potentially a compatible match. Just when I started getting the hang of things, I got banned from the site. As far as I know they are still using my pictures and probably writing fake messages to people to try and get them to upgrade.

If you want to meet the real me, I'm in the Downtown Toronto area and I now have a website!

The address is: www.hayleydivanesse.com

P.S. You don't have to pay to visit my site. Maybe that's why they were mad at me. Wink

sex search is a total scam. I am one who upgraded to gold status and I got lots of responses , none of them ever the same but when I got to talking to these women thru emails they would say all the things they wanted to do to me and with me. So I tried to hook up with them and all of a sudden they don't have time in their busy schedules for me. Some of the women that I did get to im with were also working as web cam girls on other sites and so were there to take more money from me. One girl who I actually got to call me turned out to be a prostitute which, guess what? Wanted more money from me. So I think the site is full of hookers and actors designed to take even more than you intend to spend and keep you as a monthly customer by it appearing like women are interested in you. Oh one more thing, when I did cancel my acct. all of a sudden no one else wanted to hook up with me anymore! Go figure. They still were looking at my profile but no responses. So if anyone is reading this and trying to decide if they should join the site or not listen to the advice of someone who is very well acquainted with it and don't join, you'll be sorry if you do!

Hello,

I wanted to let you all know that I've been using SexSearch.com since May haven't met one woman on the site. Also I was chatting with a few women yesterday and this morning I come into work very early and my account is disabled at SexSearch.com asking me to login into the site. When I tried to login, it said that my account wasn't valid. Go figure! Yes, I paid for the service! I have contacted customer service to see if they will respond to my request as to why my account was disabled. I can tell you that I wasn't rude or mean to anyone. I have a feeling that the people at Sex Search.com aren't women but men posing as women. I bet one of these women were a guy and when I didn't give out my email address and phone number to a woman posing as a guy they complained and disabled my account.

Guys, listen Sexseach.com I believe is also part of other companies like HotLocalsexdates.com but the fact that my account was disabled overnight tells you about the company. I know someone complained they had to, there is no reason why someone would disable an account unless you were totally mean. I remember sending an attachment to a woman giving my email address in the photo that is all I was doing nothing else. When using Sex Search in sending email through their system they have auto filter turned on, that is when I put my email address in the photo.

Now, I'm complaining to the credit card company and removing the charge.

Mr. McGarrett

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to let you know that this morning my profile was also disabled after chatting with guys online for 30 minutes, I sent a photo with my email address to this guy in Canada who I was communicating for the last three months with, I’m not sure if he turned me in but I can say that I was totally polite to these guys. Maybe I didn’t give my telephone number out and the guy got mad and complained. I don’t know, but I’ve been with SexSearch.com since April never had an issue with any of the guys and now I can’t even login to the web site. I wrote Sex Search Customer Service asking for an explanation as to why my account is shut down.

Does anyone really know why accounts get disabled at Sex Search? My Profile was real, I’m a very attractive woman but some of the guys are a bit out there with their fantasies. The point being, I was polite maybe one of the guys that I chatted with said, this woman is a scam I’m going to complain attitude.

What are the chances of having them reactivate my account or should I set up another account name with a different picture and profile name?

I’ve been reading a lot of your messages, one message caught my interest from WoFat who did an experiment last summer. After reading his message, seems that Sex Search has a way that if you have logged into the same computer, they match it with the IP Address of the machine. How else can you explain if the profile is real or not?

I wish that someone could really give us the inside information on what makes this company choose what profiles to keep and disable. Any insight that one of you can offer, please write your response.

Thank you for your time.

Lori

Hello,

Update on Sex Search. I have sent three messages as of Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 4:30 PM California time. They have never responded back to my issue. This company is a pig very unprofessional in the way they treat their clients. Its free for women, but not for men which I really believe guys you are getting burned and taken by this company. The DA or someone needs to sure this company, maybe the FBI should get involved in shutting down this company. I can tell you one thing, I didn't say or hurt anyone on the site and they won't even respond to me.

Warning !!! Don't sign up with SexSearch they treat a woman like dirt.

Thank you for allowing me to vent.

After about the first month we were on a first name basis, I sent him my email address and found it was auto filtered out. I then sent him a code in my email address and he gave me some crap that he couldn’t figure it out. So I sent him another photo of me with my email address as the file name and attached the photo to the email. Still he kept emailing me at SexSearch. Then I sent him another nude photo of me with my email address attaching it to come through sexsearch.com email system. Still nothing, he kept sending to SexSearch email.
So, this time I sent him another photo this time with a big wave showing my email address in red embedded into the photo. The next day I got locked out from my profile and Sex Search.com wouldn’t respond back to me or give me any reason why.

I know for a fact it’s the guy from Canada, because the only other tow people it could be was in a chat, they liked me a lot we talked for two hours, they were from NY and PA very nice guys. No it’s the guy from Canada.

Word of WARNING GUYS: I believe that some of the guys who work for SEX SEARCH.com are in fact spies on the site just like the guy from Canada. Why would a guy from Canada spend four months communicating with me then band me off the site? Because he either complained that it was spam, or he was a spy who was working for SexSeach. I also believe that once they band the person from the site they in fact will use the photos to make you join. When I was on the site I had a total of 3500 emails, I received 35 per day then dropped a little bit, when on-line talking to they guys I would get 12 IM’s or even more. My computer almost froze. Since girls don’t have to pay its free for us. Men get screwed.

Anyway, I’m in the process of creating a new profile and will go back on SexSearch to seek out the guy from Canada. I know who he is and what the picture looks like.

Take care,

Lori

Yes, this site is a big scam. Bottom line is sex sells so scammers will take advantage of that. Also this site sends a clear sexual message - so why anybody would be looking for a girlfriend on here is beyond me? There are three sites I have had success on but you first need to know what you are looking for. A girlfriend, a one night stand or fulfilling a fantasy? For a girlfriend, Match.com works but you will have to "play the game". which means numerous dates, many dissapointments, and much money spent trying. One night stands can be had on AdultFriendFinder .com. This site is more mixed bag but again very sexual in nature. Here too you will have to deal with let downs and people dissapearing after exchanging a few emails. To fulfill a fantasy, Backpage.com is a 100% guaranteed bullseye. Yes "donations" are required but the women are hot, for real and you will easily get what you are looking for here. The reality is nothing in life is for free, and more so when it comes to sex and relationships. Bottom line is dreamers dream and waste time. Do'ers do whatever it takes to get the job done. Good luck all.

This post was obviously for the guys. Sorry ladies. I know more guys usually become victims in these sex scams vs. women and it can be quite frustrating. I know I was. Maybe too I was a little off topic here but I wanted to share some better, more positive alternatives instead off just repaeat bashing of a site many are already upset with! Guy's not joking..Backpage.com is for real! But like anything else - be careful and follow your gut feelings. Again, I hope I was helpful.

Know what you're getting into.

Sexsearch.com attracted me, initially, because it had lots of traffic and was cheaper than other sites. Also, you can buy a trial period, so you don't have to drop 20 or 30 bucks on a month to see if you like it. When it comes to price, they are probably the cheapest, but know this: If you cancel your trial, they will keep offering you 1 time offers for cheaper and cheaper deals. If you sign up for the standard 29.95, or whatever it is, you're getting the bad end of a deal. I was offered as low as 17 cents a day; that's 60 bucks a year!

My 3 day trial experience.
The firs thing I noticed about the site, is what a lot of other have been saying. I was receiving emails from false profiles saying they were interested. After removing my pictures and profile description, I still received these emails. Why would anyone want to meet a blank profile? I can only surmise that this site is trying to boost it's sales by generating false interest in their new members.

The second thing I noticed about this site was the faulty email system. Every time I send emails to another member, they aren't received until hours later. This is quite different than what I am use to with other social sites. Not only did my emails take large amounts of time to be delivered, parts of the email function didn't work. For instance, it keeps track of every email you receive, but you cannot look at the emails you have sent. This is somewhat frustrating. It's terribly long and drawn out process of contacting and hooking up with other members.

The most effective, and only way to communicate, on sexsearch.com is personal chat. Even this feature is not without it's downfalls. To get the service to function, you need to turn off your pop-up blocker. This isn't so bad, but often, other members have this feature disabled or their pop-up blockers turned on. It seems that a lot of women turn this feature off due to the amount of attention they get from male users. As with other adult site, the guy to girl ratio is really disproportionate. Within minutes of enabling my chat feature, I was bombarded with messages from people without pictures trying to promote webcams on other sites. They were trying to get me to sign up for their site or vote for their off-site model profile. Either way, I was getting propositioned to sign up on another site to view meaningless webcams.

Another hardship with getting in touch with other users is location. This is completely relative to where you live, but most of the members I connected with were between 1 and 4 hours away. Just make sure you live in an urban area.

On a side note, epoch.com, an affiliate of Sexsearch, is actually really speedy with customer service. If you go to their main page or use their "live chat" function, you usually get what you need the same day. I was less than impressed with the email question/answer service provided in the sexsearch.com page. If you ask them tough question, they dance around the issue. I asked them about receiving a deal that was offered to me through the sexsearch.com redirects off their main page. They continued to give me a half-answer my question by directing me to their standard sign up page. This went on for 3 emails, I got the same response.

Aside from all the crap you have to put up with, their are real women on this site (Although, it's sometimes hard to discern the real from the fake). Just make sure they have more than one picture, and they don't talk like their using scripted text. I've found that everyone that responds to my emails is an actual person. I have met 3 women off this site, but keep in mind, your success rate is going to depend on a lot of variations--where you live, how attractive you are, and how well you present yourself.

To conclude, I would not recommend this site to anyone. You have much better odds picking up women off the web. This social site sounds like a great idea, but it's rewards are lacking. You're going to spend way more time and effort than you initially intended, to meet a narrowed selection of individuals. It's a lot easier to screen people and communicate in the real world, and you'll probably have a lot more success.

I hope this post helped clear some issues with other readers. Sorry it was so lengthy.

I tried Sexsearch and actually met some females. Even had sex with a few! But, the females turned out to be mentally unstable. One profile turned out to be a pro working in the Philly area. Many of the female profiles were obviously fake, but the real profiles are usually of desperate females who can't find a male (or female) any other way....because they have serious "issues". Google pickup artists and dating coaches on-line and learn how to get a real woman. Stay away from the dating sites and invest your cash wisely!

DO NOT JOIN SEX SEARCH. Sexsearch.com is a totally bogus site that only intends to prey on the emotions of those that are lonely and eager for affection. You'll notice that every girl's profile is nearly identical, that most have only one picture, and that their responses to your letters are exactly the same - "Oh yes I would love to meet up with you too but I think we need to get better acquainted before that can be possible." A note that is purely intended to string you along. If you ask for an additional photo, you'll never get it because that girl that you think you are writing to is really some computer geek that cuts and pastes the same notes to every guy that writes a letter to a girl posted on that site.
I would recommend that you go to the traditional match sites, or Plenty of Fish if you would like to meet a real girl, and not get hustled out of your money by the slime that set up sexsearch.com. Just think about it, since when has an attractive girl needed to search the internet in order to get laid. After all, a girl can get laid just by waving at a guy, and certainly doesn't need to resort to some nameless dude on a sleazy site where she has no idea whom it is she is getting involved with. DON'T GET RIPPED OFF - AVOID SEXSEARCH.COM. It is a total lie!

So we are all fairly sure that sexsearch.com is a scam, but does any one know of a good network site that is preferably free
that a guy/girl or couple can use to find like minded people that just want to have a good time having sex?

I would not call Sexsearch a scam (or Fling or Adult FriendFinder). While most of these sites could work harder at blocking fake profiles us guys just have to know how to spot the real ones from the fake ones.

I'll completely agree that site does have some spam/scam artists on it but to be honest I used the site back in June when I was out town on an assignment for a couple months and the site itself had some pretty good women on it. Granted it does take a little leg work to get the girls and a certain amount of good looks (Read: you don't have to have Fabio like looks but I was in the best shape of my life at the time and it showed) but I definitely say the site was a success. I hooked up with 5 women off this site in the span of a month and a half (3 were smoking hot 1 was alright and yeah one had a good body but lets just say I wished that I had spent more time on the web cam with her.... a swamp donkey by no means but eh just not my kind of girl). All in all the outcomes could have probably been replicated by going down to a local bar on Friday night but with my work that wasn't exactly feasible so for a 23 yr old in his prime and wanting a little action on the side while he's out of town this site was awesome. Only reason I stopped was because I was going back home and to the misses and only do that sort of stuff if I'm out of town for a couple months.

SO I JIONED SEXSEARCH.COM SITE, POSTED A PROFILE ETC. LOTS OF RESPONSES, HOWEVER IT IS ALL BULLS**T, NOT A SINGLE DATE. WHAT I DID IS POST ANOTHER TRIAL PROFILE, AND GUESS WHAT? THE EXACT SAME GIRLS WANTED TO BE MY FRIEND. THIS IS TO BAIT ME INTO PAYING FOR A FULL MEMBERSHIP. THE SECOND PROFILE I DID NOT EVEN POST A SINGLE PICTURE OR EVEN A BIOGRAPHY, NOTHING OTHER THAN THE REQUIRED FIELDS TO FILL IN... AND ALL THE SAME GIRLS WANTED TO BE MY FRIEND, WOW ! WHAT ARE THE ODDS, OR IS sexsearch.com JUST ANOTHER INTERNET SITE THAT SCAMS MONEY FROM PEOPLE! UH YAH!

Though most of you have gotten horrible spam and such, which dont doubt me i have also, i did happen to get laid quite a bit off this site. So you have to sift through the piles of bull*censored* to find real people, but its hard. Im sure the same goes for females as it does males.

I'm testing one of the ideas above.

I created a "real" account (with pic and correct info) and a "fake" account (same city but no pic and similar but false info).

I'm curious whether I get the same "hits" from the same (fake) women. I'll update.

One day after creating the "fake" account, it is getting numerous "views" by young hotties in their 20s. I'm getting more views in my "real" account, but mostly young hotties in their 20s with a single pic. (I still haven't paid anything, just keeping an eye on traffic.) Obviously, it seems like a scam when a young hottie wants to "meet you" without trading email or chatting first Smile

Signed up for the "trial" membership on my "real" account today. I had some random emails but sent one round of responses and heard nothing back (so far).

Keep getting more hits on my "fake" account (no photo). One of the young hotties that "viewed" my real account just popped up on my fake account.

So far, appears to be a scam generally with a few (very few) real people.

My last post regarding sexsearch dot com.

I cancelled my "trial membership" today. As I mentioned before, there may be a *few* real people, but the site is mainly populated by "fake" accounts. I received various friend requests and indications that young hotties wanted to meet me -- but none of those women responded to my emails.

I had a couple "women" trade emails with me once/twice, but never more than one liners. Nothing to inspire confidence that the "women" were not fake or paid scammers.

In sum, the website appears to be a scam (as others have posted). There may be one or two real women per hundred fake accounts. But not worth your hard-earned cash Smile

yep...i signed up for sexsearch as well. silver. let it go after one month but i missed the deadline by one day and they got me for another month and also charged some fee for 4.95..lol. i couldn't find where anything said an additional 4.95 would be charged on top of the 29.95 that i was duped into paying..so now im into them for 65 or so. when i canceled again it makes you put a reason..i put it was too expensive..so, they sent me a mail that asked if i want a free week of gold and 19.99 a month from now on...lolol.

also, yeah. it's totally a scam. i've been trying to find proof by using deduction on the different mails i get. i should have just done research instead. i didn't want to believe that its fake...but there is no denying it.

i've gotten mails from girls in the area and everytime they are personlized..(things must have come a long way, from what i hear the responces used to be generic). though, the girls never really answer anything much. they are extremely vauge about pretty much everything. girls in real life that are attracted to something cant shut up.... i get retarded responses like...when asking for the part of town she lives in, one said "the city area" ...lol..classic. i've had one go off on me when i asked her something specific about the city, like the question was wierd or something. several of them wrote like they were foreign though they have a name like "britney"....nothing ever adds up.

anyway, Idea wish i could have seen this before i paid so much for so little...

Had a couple of live ones , but seemed most were fake

Agreed this is a complete scam.
Too many hotties showing interest in a 53 year old man. I could understand it if it was hookers trying to drum up some trade. I'm sure hookers would make a more convincing pitch and do a follow up.

I personally think that there may be legitimate women on this site, but as for me, I'm not happy. My experiences have been slightly different, but ultimately the same outcome. I've been a member for about four months. Most of the people I've corresponded with initially contacted me by message or wanting to meet. The only ones that I initiated were the ones that sent friendship messages. I haven't had any that were related to other sites. However, what concerns me is the fact that I had email volley with several women and it seemed like the relationships were taking place. The messages back and forth went on for quite awhile for all of them and then all of a sudden you never hear from them again. At first I thought it was something I had said, but after this happened several times I smelled a rat. I'm really pissed at myself for being that naive. Whatever they're doing, they're good at it. I sent them a rather scathing message about what I thought of it. It's funny though, even though I'm still a member, I haven't received one message since then.

Sex Search has been a total bust so far. I wish I would have read these comments before wasting $30.
You get all kinds of come-ons from beautiful young women, but they seldom respond, and no one answers with any more than a sentence or two. These women were picking me before I even had pictures posted, and I am a good 40 years older than the women who "pick" me. After one month, nothing at all has actually happened. Definitely a scam.

Meh... I singed up to this site twice and both times they rejected the profile. First time I signed up, I spent ages filling in my profile. Uploaded a few pics and then it logged me out. Email confirmed profile rejected... So I tried again, this time using minimal text and just one really tame pic.

Thought it was working as I was chatting away to some bloke, figured I'd update my profile and put some effort in lol and damned thing logged me out again. No email this time though. I sent them an email asking if the site was a scam just to get pics because they sure as hell don't seem to want anyone actually using it lol

Plus tbh all the men that messaged me were a bit fugly Frown I could do better on facebook and you don't even have to get your t*ts out in there Mr. Green

Stay clear of this site. To check if this site is a scam, register in a location that does not speak English. For example i am in Italy and the girls in my region seem to speak perfect English and i swore i have seen some of these 'Americanised' pics on AFF. I was going to sign up for the 3 day trial but it is off know. BEWARE!!!!!!!!

Geek

The site's a scam for those of us naive enough to hope the people are either real or not hookers.

My pattern's the same as most on this reply list. Fast early replies from ladies who looked pretty but not looking like porn stars, gets you thinking "average Miss", pay your $30 ..after all we're on to meet people, whether sex or company, then the pattern is the same with most ...one liner replies to the first statement you make on your email ..the rest ignored and every reply the same.

Most appear to be scams ID's set up by the owners to keep us interested and prey on our good manners not to be confronting ..after all we're hoping one of these may create a meet up.

I've paid my $30, used it for 3 weeks, realised I was duped and now play with it as an internet toy until my $30 is used. There's not a genuine contact amongst them.

I've had about 90 contacts and 2 real people .. who were hookers and nothing like their profile suggested.

Watch for the photos that are cropped pictures from group snaps, the personal profiles will have hair colour, build, smoker and drinker questions only answered... they are all scams.

Caveat emptor ..let the buyer beware!!!

Good hunting ... !!!

Again, pretty much the same experience as others.

What twigged it for me was when I was writing to a girl whose (identical) photo later turned up on an amateur porn site.

Deciding on a test I wrote and told her that someone had stolen her photo. I got a canned response.

That's when I knew I was getting nothing but fake BS from the site owners.

I did get my money refunded for my 2nd month with a simple request - so credit to them on that one. Regardless, as I was serious about meeting someone, this site was a waste of time and funds.

Steer clear and don't waste your funds.

Hi,

I was a member of Sex Search a few years back, until I met my current girldfriend.
I really enjoyed the experience, as I mate two hot and horny felines, who both travelled to my city specifically for one reason.
A quick drink and we were down for real fun.

Nothing lasted, as things get complicated.

Of course, the site does have crap on it, like the usaul business minded ladies, and some obviously fake emails to entice new members.

But, that doesnt take me away from the fact that I had really fun experiences.

Thanks

they have real girls but their are also sexsearch agents on the sites. For example after i discontinued my gold membership all of a sudden hot chicks in my age were popping up in my town as my latest match. Before there were not alot most of them didnt have pictures since this a small town. And their profiles seem simliar. If they say im lookin for someone with simliiar interest they are fake.

one more proof of how ridiculous this site is, i have profile but i am not subscribed, anyways i look at bottom of main page and there are supposed to be girls that are no more then 50 miles away of my location. I am located in Sweden, Goteborg, and supposedly these chick should also be in Sweden, well think again. I click on one of "near" profiles and read this crap "My perfect evening: Would be a night out on the ole town. Of course if that is Alaska, Anchorage, where I live---well, actually 100 miles outside of Anchorage---that would mean a trip to Petey's, the roadside grill and bar. That's not really so romantic, although the chow there is good. So my date better have a helicopter or a learjet to take me somewhere interesting." Lol she live in Alaska hahahah yeah that is very near, thanks SexSearch but i am not that stupid.

God i hate these dating sites. I put almost 50$ on Zoosk couple of days ago, ghost town. I think most of profiles are fake. I sent so many friend requests, not one answered, or even looked at my profile. You know when someone looks on your profile BS! Yeah its BS. And I'm smart enough (and so are the rest of you) to know better. But when you're lonely, logic goes out the window I guess. I contacted a few, and was contacted by a few, only thru the site. I gave my phone number out to several, and not one of them texted or called. But they will reply with a one-liner.

The idea is, if they can string you along day by day, and feed you little nibbles, they'll get to keep charging your account and making money. And of course, that's why you have no abilities to do anything - view messages or pics - unless you pay...

More than likely they have employees who each handle 'x' amount of profiles, or a certain geographic area, and they'll make sure they contact any new members, ESPECIALLY those who have not subscribed yet, so they'll get all excited and subscribe... and then they only contact you JUST ENOUGH to keep ya hooked.

AND THEN what happens is that I try to post this and it gets rejected as "spam"? What crap!

I agree with you guys that this site is BS with a lot of fake profiles. However, there are real profiles with real sexy women. I have met a lot women on this site, and I had fun with them. Right now I am still seeing them and I am not fking around nor do I work or support this BS site.

From my personal experience the real women don't show their pictures, or will cover their face and will try any means to contact you through yahoo and msn using misspelled language which sounds like msn and yahoo on first contact as this site blocks the word MSN and YAHOO etc
This site blocks any form of communication which is not affiliated with the site which is very fked up.
There are also fake women who also try to lure you to yahoo and msn to sell you a web-cam session too so be careful.

If you guys are using this site, try forcing live contact using the built in messenger or try using miss spelled language for getting the girl to add you to msn or yahoo ex: pimpzadolla at yeeeeaaauuuuhhh...deet komb through the email service. Don't waste time corresponding through email more than 2 times with anyone as you're probably wasting your time talking to a fake profile.

Also, If a picture looks to good to be true then always follow your instincts.

I was forced to figure out this site as I was suckered into paying for a full year....i know... Frown
Now that I know how to use this site, I don't have a problem finding local horny REAL chicks.
I got my monies worth.

This site has serious potential, but because of the BS on this site I hope it gets shutdown. I will not renew my account either.

There are two sides to this site, obviously. Women don't pay, and get gold membership if they post a picture. So, women, don't pay for the site, just put a picture there and you will get gold access once your picture is posted. Next, men, there are more of you on the site then women. If you join as a man, put a picture up and you'll probably get on for free as well. Once you do actually get an email, if you're asked to go directly to a Yahoo account, it's probably a scam. Also, many men ask for a picture immediately as well and then ask to chat with you on Yahoo instead of the chat within Sexsearch. Guys, women are most likely not going to give their photo out as soon as you write 'hi' to them or say something including F_ck in it within the first note. Not all women are turned on by that. Ladies, be aware of this site, and all others. There are men on the site who will use you or try to get money from you once they meet you. If you do meet them, follow the recommendation that you go to a public place during hours where there are plenty of other people around. Don't drive your own car, go with a friend and don't go directly home afterwards. They (the men) can follow you home and stalk you. Unfortunately, I learned this the hard way. The very hard way. I nearly didn't survive, literally. As for the 'great lay' comment others make here? Is that all that we hope for in life? I guess, since this is a sex site, but in reality, most women want more than just sex - maybe even friendship or companionship? Don't sell yourself short, ladies. There are lots of other ways, and better ways, to meet men. This site is filled with some pretty horrible people who are just looking to get a 'hooker' for free. Ladies, don't spread your legs for just anyone. I hope we've all evolved further than that.

I have been testing dating sites for a report for a magazine article and decided to sign up using the photograph of an ape and using ape attributes during the sign up process. Lo and behold, female Sexsearch members have contacted my bogus ape persona over 100 times in just over two months. I have written to the website and told them of my findings. Initially they replied to my message and were appalled that I could be scammed (I had yet to inform them of the ape experiment). When I mentioned that I was a reporter and that a bogus and clearly phony account was created, the next message had the writer appalled at me for doing the experiment. Suffice to say, the site is without a doubt a scam. There are true online dating services out there that do work and do connect people but this one is not one of them and should be avoided at all costs.

P.S. The article will be appearing in SPIN magazine (yes, a music magazine doing a non-music article, how novel) in December's issue.

Its definitely mostly a scam. I tried it out for one month just to see for myself. I actually did interact with three female profiles off of the site. Figuring out a way to get around the stupid email address filter was ridiculous but I managed it.

Unfortunately I think one of them was most likely a man posing as a woman. I kept trying to get a meeting in person set up but all they wanted was a picture of my junk. They never would answer any specific questions or provide any proof that they were for real.

The other two I interacted with were nice but when I got a set of pictures from them neither was anywhere close to my standards in looks. All of the other contacts I received from the 100+ emails that I sent out to various profiles were all fakes obviously run by the website or its employees. Some of their responses to my emails were so ridiculous.

So in conclusion: if you meet any women on this site it will be apparently obvious why they are on here looking -- ie they are dogs!! Or you will meet a man posing as a woman, or you will be bothered by one of the hundreds of shills that this site must have working for it to string you along.

just a tip: this did not help on every picture as it seems the fake profile makers have gotten smarter but I used a reverse image search engine called Tineye (google it to find it) and that helped me to weed out some of the profiles by showing me that the pic (s) that were being used were ones that the profile maker had lifted from another website and so obviously were not of that person in the profile.

Hello Boys,

I have been on the site for about a year now, I have had some fine encounters. I think the problem is that so many emails are trashy.. like want to watch me cum, want to cam.. etc. I just delete them. Others who have taken the time to fill out their profile and send me a intelligent, sexy email gets answered. I believe the site does have some scaming and spaming issues but honestly.. I have enjoyed some delishes encounters. I am not an escort.

I don't mean to seem condescending but it's basic logic that just because two identities are members of the same community (sexsearch in this case) and one has a certain characteristic (fake profile, spammer) doesn't mean that they both have that characteristic. Also, consider that this thread has a participation and confirmation bias because the best way to find it is by googling {"sexsearch.com" spammers} so posters likely believe it is a scam before they get here and then find an echo chamber for that belief.

I can report that I have had (great) sex with a real (attractive) woman after being a full member for less than a month. The fact that empty or unattractive unpaid profiles get tons of emails is only slightly relevant. The question that we should care about--and I admit still bothers me--is does the spam continue once you pay? My rule is that for every questionable email I reply to (possibly wasting my time) I send messages to three new women.

Does anyone know how the advanced search results are sorted? It seems to be by some class first and then by activity. What is this first class?

The best filter seems to be trying to move to outside email as soon as possible. I understand the safety concern that this poses for real women but that is easily dealt with by creating a new, more anonymous email address. Any other tips for separating the wheat from the chaff?

I was a member there for about a month. Don't expect to meet anyone in person. It is for amusement only.

I'm a woman and have been on sexsearch.com for close to a year. I have great luck. I've met a number of men and I now see 3 of them on a fairly regular basis. Ranging in age from 39 to 66. All great guys with a great appetite for sex! If I wanted I could get laid everyday of the week.!! That's not because I'm some young woman with a great bod. I'm 55 and my bod is now where near perfect anymore.
Everytime I'm on the site I'm deluged with guys wanting to talk to me. I don't believe I've run into a fake one on there yet.
But there are guys I've talked to who say many of the women's profiles are fake or they are escorts.
Anyway, just putting in my two cents. It's been great fun for me!!! Big Grin

This site is a joke! I am 48 years old and recently divorced and looking for a partner. I joined and suddenly I I was everything I thought I wasn't, but after answering the 15-20 hot little sexies I discovered NONE of them have any brain or they are hired by sexsearch or simply a computer generated response. So typical is "I want to meet you". Well ok but why would a hot 23 year old want to meet me (48) when we have never met, talked or even e-mailed? We don't even know each others names! Wel , wow I guess I am hotter than I ever thought? Sweet!! Life isn't over after a 22 year marriage ending in divorce and 48 years of age! This girl want's to go out with me! I am, of coarse wondering why? This isn't normal? So I respond with wow, you are lovely and I am an engineer and ............, love to travel........, have these children............, etc. etc. etc. trying to impress of course. ask her about herself, where she lives, in school or working, name, children, etc. etc. etc. One - two pages later I send the e-mail and can't wait for a response. What do I get back from this little hottie that want so desperately to meet me? In one case " what do you have to offer" in another " If you were near me I would keep you warm". NO I am sorry, these are NOT real and so I say SEXSEACH is a hoax, fake and should be shut down! DON'T FALL FOR IT LIKE ME! I have quit but this is a SCAM!

Angry This site is definately a scam. I just finished a one month membership. I took down my pictures and then the views started right up, friend requests and meeting requests started right up also and with pictures of women that were downright gorgeous!

Talk about baiting someone to get you to subscribe again. NO THANK YOU! One month at $29.95 was more then enough! I turned off all the settings to stop any more e-mails.

A FOOL AND HIS MONEY IS SOON PARTED! But at least not too much money! Just think that if one million guys paid $29.95, that would be a pretty good profit for this scam outfit!

I was a free Gold member there over a year ago. I think that this site is total BS all the way. Also, I think the people there, for the most part, are illiterates as well. Yesterday, I returned there for the purpose of signing up once again to see if things had changed but, after filling out everything, I was booted off with no alternatives of reentering the site. I have a feeling that it is no longer operateable at all.

I recently decided after awhile of being so horny and board that I'd re-register on it but this time I'm getting way to much spam. Could be they don't have enough real people on it to respond to everyone so I'm thinking their using bots. they do have spammers as well who spare no expense to fish people to there site.

Absolutely, totally bogus. While guys have to pay $149 for a gold acct, it is free for women if they put up a photo. They even admit using computer generated messages and "online emissaries" to enhance the users' experience. When you sign up for a free, basic acct, you are immediately bombarded by beautiful women who want to meet in person. Phony. You have to pay $149 to be able to read the messages and respond.

The messages from the women are very short; no real substance. My guess is that thousands of women in the Third World are paid by them to answer messages. When it is time for a date, they disappear. I am going to put up a profile as a 39 year old, unemployed, 5"2", 230 pound virgin, who smokes and belches and lives in his parents' basement. I will be you that I get responses from women who want to meet me.

Ok guys read this carefully. Sexsearch is a scam and I will prove it so please put your plastic back into your wallet and stop paying these scammers that want to take your hard earned money. Where do I start? Look at the profiles-all beautiful girls, hot and sensuous. Now ask yourself if these girls actually exist why on earth are they on a site looking for sex? they could have any guy they wanted. They are mostly early twenties and seemingly keen to get naked with you-I promise if you sign up and reply to them you will never hear from them again-simply because they don't exist. How do I know this? I put two profiles on and I was inundated with requests of wanting to meet in person from 22 year olds ( I am 45-very unlikely) The second profile I put on I specified I would not answer unless I got two emails from the same person so I knew they were genuine-I got no replies except the usual so and so has viewed your profile and so and so wants to meet in person but never two emails from the same girl this is because the software cannot recognise my request of wanting two emails thus provingthe girls don't exist. Yes you may hear stories of I met several girls off the site or girls saying we are genuine and my profile is real-these are from people at the site trying to dupe you-it is simple guys it is a complete scam. I am glad I wasn't fooled into parting with money but many have done so and then realised it is a con-please avoid this site.

I just made the mistake of joining this site. Fortunately I have not parted with any money. The terms and conditions in the FAQ that you can read before joining are completely different from what you find after you have joined. That is you CANNOT view profiles or read emails. That is false and misleading advertising.

Even before I have typed a single letter into my profile I had 4 emails. This is *censored*. Just does not happen in the real world. I also know that there is no way possible that the ratio of black to white women within 50 miles of me is anything like what sexsearch is showing me. There is no way that there are that many women online in that distance either. Most of the photos are just too good to be realistic etc, etc.

I could go on and on about how bogus this site is but what really jumped out at me was the total lack of disclosure of what happens when your three day trail membership expires. According to their terms and conditions it takes 5 days notice to end your membership.

People Stay away from this site.

After having been a member of this website for about two weeks I"m pretty sure it's a complete fake.

It was REALLY suspicious when I received a half-dozen "friend requests" from impossibly hot chicks within the first day. All of these women had similarly vapid profiles. I responded to the one that appeared to be the most authentic. I got nothing but vague, two sentence responses which were clearly designed to just keep leading me on. This person was obviously "not from around here".

Since then I've emailed two other gals, both of whom have responded in similarly vague ways.

I also keep getting these friend request from women who have no business being on a site like this. They are ALL so OBVIOUSLY FAAAAKE.

I will give the site credit though. At least they're apparently paying someone to pretend. Unlike AFF, where the fake ads are just plain fake.

This site is at least kind of funny. I could be mad about wasting thirty (or was it sixty) bucks, but I figure I asked for it by being a typically horny (and stupid) guy.

Whoever thought this scam up is pretty flippin' brilliant. I'm just warning you, don't reward them for their devious creativity with your money. Let MY money be a lesson to you.

Yeah, at one point when they were offering a $1 three day trial, I signed up just to check. Immediately, the entire list of people "nearby" vanished. I remembered some of the user names, so I looked them up - different countries, even different continents. Nothing even slightly close. So not only are the users possibly fake, but the search results definitely are fake when you're a free member.

To their credit, when I sent them a very unhappy email demanding they cancel the account before billing me for a non-trial month, they complied pretty quickly.\

I bought only £10 of credits knowing British Sex Contacts are probably a big Con , my first suspicions came when I saw how gorgeous all the women were , don,t think I ever saw an "Ordinary" looking woman . Women that look like that DON'T need sex sites for Sex . . Second suspicion was when the "Local" woman I spoke with was not using the kind of language I'd expect her to use if she was a local girl , therefore I'd say she is a foreigner ... If the girls are too good looking to be true , then they probably ARE .

I am a male and received a few messages from young women. (Their profiles say they're women.) I don't have a picture displayed on my profile, so they ask me to send them one. After I do, they reply and say that they really liked my picture and continue to send me messages. When I ask them to talk on the phone, they decline. So I ask them why they contacted me, and if sending messages is all they wanted to do, why did they ask me for my picture? So I'm guessing that these people work for the site and entice men to stay on by using these techniques. Furthermore, I'm not even sure if the information in their profiles is accurate. It' possible the messages were sent by men.

I agree this is a scam and from the apparent number 1 dating site on the online Xpress. com I was a member on there after 4 months of not meeting single lady, i left as i had been talking to their so called bots, I realized that they were not answering the simple questions i asked, like name and likes or a comment to what i had mailed. the emails i have been sent for various sites like sexsearch.com are directly from Xpress billing Epoc... so Xpress and Sex'search are the same ! A SCAM!!

You will find if you email Epoc and mention trading standers you will get a refund as I was refunded in full and for the 4 months i had been there banging my head up their fabricated site/s and bots. don't be nice about it either as I was blatant in making it clear regardless of their terms a conditions that were out of my control, to change them, only that i can agree to most of them.

I was looking up my name and alias on google and I found that I had a profile on sexsearchcom.com.. lovely. I don't remember having that there but I must of gotten into it in 2009... I'm writing this in 2017.. it's been a couple years since I've been on it. I would LOVE to have it deleted, but good luck with that. They will not delete it. So the best thing I'm thinking is try to get banned from there. I don't need to know my 4 digits of my credit card number when in 2009 I didn't put one in.. I personally don't know if I had a profile up here or not. I can only think maybe if it were a dating site that changed into a sex site? I don't know if those websites do that often or what. Then the live feed guy tells me that I'm hacked into my own account because I can't give him my credit card info? wtf dude. I look up how to delete info from this site and find a ton of info about it being a scam. Awesome, not!

Some of their wording is wrong too. It's a website and they can't even spell your. It's spelled yout... that says a lot to be honest! If there is one spelling error I know there is more. Sorta like cockroaches if you see one, there is plenty more, yuck.

I was looking all over the site about various things to see if it was me that put it in or not and I've not done a lot of what 'it said i did' lol and how it worded stuff and how it typed. I don't type "ur" that's lazy I mean that instantly makes me think that a whoever got into my account and typed a lot of stuff in there because I didn't do that. I just feel so dirty and then asking them they won't delete my account! smh!

I am a woman on the site and I respond to as many people as I can. I get so many emails from men that I don't have time to respond to them all but I try.

I have already gone out with a wonderful man from the site and have MSN messages and friends from others.

I'm sorry that you think this site is a scam. I've enjoyed it.

Anyway, good luck.

Yeah right, your an employee trying to plug the site because you know
it's a scam!

no ..as they get fixed up in local bars or at work so they dont need to advertise online ,its a myth perpetuated by scam sites trying to defraud suckers

There are a *censored* load of fakes on this site. However i did meet three nice ladies on here, one a nurse, and a couple that wanted to try a threesome. Said they had never done that before and wanted to try it. I have since stopped on the site as well. To many fake ass emails. Just not worth the money to keep it going.

sexsearch is a bogus con site..

#1 Dating Profiles of Women Are Fabricated

These profiles are completely fraudulent and the people you see are fictitious. You won’t be wrong if you think that no single information in these profiles is real. SexSearch.com needs to fabricate profiles to fill up the site with members, simply because there are no real women looking for dates on SexSearch.com. The fake profiles are connected with the “Online Emissary” service, which has its own section in the Terms and Conditions of Use document we found and read thoroughly (look for Section 14).

TERMS OF SERVICE EXCERPT: “SexSearchcom.com UTILIZES VIRTUAL PROFILES THAT DO NOT CORRESPOND TO ACTUAL MEMBERS: An ONLINE EMISSARY may be a digital actor, an avatar or a synthespian (e.g. a computer generated “person” or “character”). You acknowledge that You understand that some of the profiles and Members displayed on them are not actual members of the site. ONLINE EMISSARIES are not associated with any other user of the site.”

#2 Computer-Automated Messages Are Sent

Another trick SexSearch.com hides up the sleeve are the computer-generated and completely automated messages sent to you and other site users. But, stay aware that all communications sent to you by the site’s profiles are completely fake and require no human involvement. So, even if you get a reply back from an Online Emissary, you will be basically communicating with a software program and soon the correspondence will make no sense.

TERMS OF SERVICE EXCERPT: “The ONLINE EMISSARY services can include the posting of information, pictures and/or communications directed to You. Such messages may take the form of any communication currently permitted on the Website. Additionally by accepting these Terms, you understand, acknowledge, and agree that, the ONLINE EMISSARY may contact both free Members and paid Subscribers via text based communication either within the site and/or via email notifications.”

#3 Employees Have a Job to Communicate With You

As unbelievable as it may sound, it is the absolute truth. SexSearch.com hires and pays employees to contact you and interact with you. The need for employees is the same fact that computer-generated messages start to make no sense, so more natural flow of conversation is needed to keep you on the site. For as long as you can keep paying, they will keep the scam going.

TERMS OF SERVICE EXCERPT: “ONLINE EMISSARIES may be employed by sexsearchcom.com or a third party to enhance Your online experience. ”
