I'm testing one of the ideas above.

I created a "real" account (with pic and correct info) and a "fake" account (same city but no pic and similar but false info).

I'm curious whether I get the same "hits" from the same (fake) women. I'll update.

One day after creating the "fake" account, it is getting numerous "views" by young hotties in their 20s. I'm getting more views in my "real" account, but mostly young hotties in their 20s with a single pic. (I still haven't paid anything, just keeping an eye on traffic.) Obviously, it seems like a scam when a young hottie wants to "meet you" without trading email or chatting first Smile

Signed up for the "trial" membership on my "real" account today. I had some random emails but sent one round of responses and heard nothing back (so far).

Keep getting more hits on my "fake" account (no photo). One of the young hotties that "viewed" my real account just popped up on my fake account.

So far, appears to be a scam generally with a few (very few) real people.

My last post regarding sexsearch dot com.

I cancelled my "trial membership" today. As I mentioned before, there may be a *few* real people, but the site is mainly populated by "fake" accounts. I received various friend requests and indications that young hotties wanted to meet me -- but none of those women responded to my emails.

I had a couple "women" trade emails with me once/twice, but never more than one liners. Nothing to inspire confidence that the "women" were not fake or paid scammers.

In sum, the website appears to be a scam (as others have posted). There may be one or two real women per hundred fake accounts. But not worth your hard-earned cash Smile

yep...i signed up for sexsearch as well. silver. let it go after one month but i missed the deadline by one day and they got me for another month and also charged some fee for 4.95..lol. i couldn't find where anything said an additional 4.95 would be charged on top of the 29.95 that i was duped into paying..so now im into them for 65 or so. when i canceled again it makes you put a reason..i put it was too expensive..so, they sent me a mail that asked if i want a free week of gold and 19.99 a month from now on...lolol.

also, yeah. it's totally a scam. i've been trying to find proof by using deduction on the different mails i get. i should have just done research instead. i didn't want to believe that its fake...but there is no denying it.

i've gotten mails from girls in the area and everytime they are personlized..(things must have come a long way, from what i hear the responces used to be generic). though, the girls never really answer anything much. they are extremely vauge about pretty much everything. girls in real life that are attracted to something cant shut up.... i get retarded responses like...when asking for the part of town she lives in, one said "the city area" ...lol..classic. i've had one go off on me when i asked her something specific about the city, like the question was wierd or something. several of them wrote like they were foreign though they have a name like "britney"....nothing ever adds up.

anyway, Idea wish i could have seen this before i paid so much for so little...

I actually hooked up with two women on that site a few years back. However there are a lot of robo fake ads on there. They use fake cities in the state you live in, and they are not real people.

Agreed this is a complete scam.
Too many hotties showing interest in a 53 year old man. I could understand it if it was hookers trying to drum up some trade. I'm sure hookers would make a more convincing pitch and do a follow up.

Not Happy
Anonymous
I personally think that there may be legitimate women on this site, but as for me, I'm not happy. My experiences have been slightly different, but ultimately the same outcome. I've been a member for about four months. Most of the people I've corresponded with initially contacted me by message or wanting to meet. The only ones that I initiated were the ones that sent friendship messages. I haven't had any that were related to other sites. However, what concerns me is the fact that I had email volley with several women and it seemed like the relationships were taking place. The messages back and forth went on for quite awhile for all of them and then all of a sudden you never hear from them again. At first I thought it was something I had said, but after this happened several times I smelled a rat. I'm really pissed at myself for being that naive. Whatever they're doing, they're good at it. I sent them a rather scathing message about what I thought of it. It's funny though, even though I'm still a member, I haven't received one message since then.

Sex Search has been a total bust so far. I wish I would have read these comments before wasting $30.
You get all kinds of come-ons from beautiful young women, but they seldom respond, and no one answers with any more than a sentence or two. These women were picking me before I even had pictures posted, and I am a good 40 years older than the women who "pick" me. After one month, nothing at all has actually happened. Definitely a scam.
