Sexsearch.com attracted me, initially, because it had lots of traffic and was cheaper than other sites. Also, you can buy a trial period, so you don't have to drop 20 or 30 bucks on a month to see if you like it. When it comes to price, they are probably the cheapest, but know this: If you cancel your trial, they will keep offering you 1 time offers for cheaper and cheaper deals. If you sign up for the standard 29.95, or whatever it is, you're getting the bad end of a deal. I was offered as low as 17 cents a day; that's 60 bucks a year!

My 3 day trial experience.
The firs thing I noticed about the site, is what a lot of other have been saying. I was receiving emails from false profiles saying they were interested. After removing my pictures and profile description, I still received these emails. Why would anyone want to meet a blank profile? I can only surmise that this site is trying to boost it's sales by generating false interest in their new members.

The second thing I noticed about this site was the faulty email system. Every time I send emails to another member, they aren't received until hours later. This is quite different than what I am use to with other social sites. Not only did my emails take large amounts of time to be delivered, parts of the email function didn't work. For instance, it keeps track of every email you receive, but you cannot look at the emails you have sent. This is somewhat frustrating. It's terribly long and drawn out process of contacting and hooking up with other members.

The most effective, and only way to communicate, on sexsearch.com is personal chat. Even this feature is not without it's downfalls. To get the service to function, you need to turn off your pop-up blocker. This isn't so bad, but often, other members have this feature disabled or their pop-up blockers turned on. It seems that a lot of women turn this feature off due to the amount of attention they get from male users. As with other adult site, the guy to girl ratio is really disproportionate. Within minutes of enabling my chat feature, I was bombarded with messages from people without pictures trying to promote webcams on other sites. They were trying to get me to sign up for their site or vote for their off-site model profile. Either way, I was getting propositioned to sign up on another site to view meaningless webcams.

Another hardship with getting in touch with other users is location. This is completely relative to where you live, but most of the members I connected with were between 1 and 4 hours away. Just make sure you live in an urban area.

On a side note, epoch.com, an affiliate of Sexsearch, is actually really speedy with customer service. If you go to their main page or use their "live chat" function, you usually get what you need the same day. I was less than impressed with the email question/answer service provided in the sexsearch.com page. If you ask them tough question, they dance around the issue. I asked them about receiving a deal that was offered to me through the sexsearch.com redirects off their main page. They continued to give me a half-answer my question by directing me to their standard sign up page. This went on for 3 emails, I got the same response.

Aside from all the crap you have to put up with, their are real women on this site (Although, it's sometimes hard to discern the real from the fake). Just make sure they have more than one picture, and they don't talk like their using scripted text. I've found that everyone that responds to my emails is an actual person. I have met 3 women off this site, but keep in mind, your success rate is going to depend on a lot of variations--where you live, how attractive you are, and how well you present yourself.

To conclude, I would not recommend this site to anyone. You have much better odds picking up women off the web. This social site sounds like a great idea, but it's rewards are lacking. You're going to spend way more time and effort than you initially intended, to meet a narrowed selection of individuals. It's a lot easier to screen people and communicate in the real world, and you'll probably have a lot more success.

I hope this post helped clear some issues with other readers. Sorry it was so lengthy.

I tried Sexsearch and actually met some females. Even had sex with a few! But, the females turned out to be mentally unstable. One profile turned out to be a pro working in the Philly area. Many of the female profiles were obviously fake, but the real profiles are usually of desperate females who can't find a male (or female) any other way....because they have serious "issues". Google pickup artists and dating coaches on-line and learn how to get a real woman. Stay away from the dating sites and invest your cash wisely!

DO NOT JOIN SEX SEARCH. Sexsearch.com is a totally bogus site that only intends to prey on the emotions of those that are lonely and eager for affection. You'll notice that every girl's profile is nearly identical, that most have only one picture, and that their responses to your letters are exactly the same - "Oh yes I would love to meet up with you too but I think we need to get better acquainted before that can be possible." A note that is purely intended to string you along. If you ask for an additional photo, you'll never get it because that girl that you think you are writing to is really some computer geek that cuts and pastes the same notes to every guy that writes a letter to a girl posted on that site.
I would recommend that you go to the traditional match sites, or Plenty of Fish if you would like to meet a real girl, and not get hustled out of your money by the slime that set up sexsearch.com. Just think about it, since when has an attractive girl needed to search the internet in order to get laid. After all, a girl can get laid just by waving at a guy, and certainly doesn't need to resort to some nameless dude on a sleazy site where she has no idea whom it is she is getting involved with. DON'T GET RIPPED OFF - AVOID SEXSEARCH.COM. It is a total lie!

I have met plenty of nice, attractive women from sexsearch.com and even met 2 after just briefly chatting with them on the i.m. feature. No problem here.

So we are all fairly sure that sexsearch.com is a scam, but does any one know of a good network site that is preferably free
that a guy/girl or couple can use to find like minded people that just want to have a good time having sex?

I would not call Sexsearch a scam (or Fling or Adult FriendFinder). While most of these sites could work harder at blocking fake profiles us guys just have to know how to spot the real ones from the fake ones.

I'll completely agree that site does have some spam/scam artists on it but to be honest I used the site back in June when I was out town on an assignment for a couple months and the site itself had some pretty good women on it. Granted it does take a little leg work to get the girls and a certain amount of good looks (Read: you don't have to have Fabio like looks but I was in the best shape of my life at the time and it showed) but I definitely say the site was a success. I hooked up with 5 women off this site in the span of a month and a half (3 were smoking hot 1 was alright and yeah one had a good body but lets just say I wished that I had spent more time on the web cam with her.... a swamp donkey by no means but eh just not my kind of girl). All in all the outcomes could have probably been replicated by going down to a local bar on Friday night but with my work that wasn't exactly feasible so for a 23 yr old in his prime and wanting a little action on the side while he's out of town this site was awesome. Only reason I stopped was because I was going back home and to the misses and only do that sort of stuff if I'm out of town for a couple months.

SO I JIONED SEXSEARCH.COM SITE, POSTED A PROFILE ETC. LOTS OF RESPONSES, HOWEVER IT IS ALL BULLS**T, NOT A SINGLE DATE. WHAT I DID IS POST ANOTHER TRIAL PROFILE, AND GUESS WHAT? THE EXACT SAME GIRLS WANTED TO BE MY FRIEND. THIS IS TO BAIT ME INTO PAYING FOR A FULL MEMBERSHIP. THE SECOND PROFILE I DID NOT EVEN POST A SINGLE PICTURE OR EVEN A BIOGRAPHY, NOTHING OTHER THAN THE REQUIRED FIELDS TO FILL IN... AND ALL THE SAME GIRLS WANTED TO BE MY FRIEND, WOW ! WHAT ARE THE ODDS, OR IS sexsearch.com JUST ANOTHER INTERNET SITE THAT SCAMS MONEY FROM PEOPLE! UH YAH!

Though most of you have gotten horrible spam and such, which dont doubt me i have also, i did happen to get laid quite a bit off this site. So you have to sift through the piles of bull*censored* to find real people, but its hard. Im sure the same goes for females as it does males.
