no doubt. When you are taught to hate your entire life, you hate. There are lots of grievances on both sides. I wonder what his father did to result in the bulldozing of his home...usually those were terrorists trying to kill israelis.

Those two threads you posted, and I linked to earlier, about the Frivolity boards have had a little traffic based on the hits and the thumbs up/down votes. But they still didn't have any more than you opening posts.

So, I added one. I wasn't sure which one to add it to so I added it to both.

May, or may not, give one or both a little nudge.

Changing the subject will not give those two threads a nudge. It just reinforces the fact that no one wants to discuss political issues in these dating site oriented forums.

Someone could bring up politics in the context of not wanting to date a person of a different political persuasion from their own, but ATA is married and not here for dating purposes.

Both those ATA threads, the old one and the one he just created, deal with Trump hating. They mention the Frivolity site. But both of his OPs center on anti-Trump vs Right Wingers and Pro-trump.

So, I fail to see how I changed the subject. (???) But you are correct, they probably won’t nudge them because other than this thread politics are not a hot topic on here. Like I mentioned before, it will take some more posts with some opposing views. Pro-Trump vs anti-Trump will always be kindling for a flame war. It just takes a little fanning to get the embers fired up. Then we may see the flames. May not either. Not the audience here. Yet.

believe it or not, I am pretty much done with the trump wars. He is gone. If I was still interested in those wars, I never would have left the frivolity boards. I am tired of arguing with people who buy into conspiracies.

Those two political (+ Frivolity) threads started by ATA were interesting. Not for what they say, more for the site actually starting a political category by moving the older post there as the first (and only) thread. The site also started another thread by moving the newer one also posted here to the user reviews.

The site is obviously willing to have political arguments since they created a topic for it over a year ago and started the first (and again, only) thread by moving ATA’s post there. I agree with both Judi and Cash though that they will never get traction. Consider that other than Cash posting those links earlier in this thread then posting to each one of them the other day, it has been completely ignored.



I have to agree with what El hozel replied about ATA’s statement. When I read it I couldn’t help but think ‘He posted way back in the beginning of this thread that he wasn’t going to join Frivolity because he was tired of the arguing and the energy it required of him on the POF forum. Then he apparently joined Frivolity and had been a super poster (from what I have read here and been told by someone who is a member there) spewing anti Trump hatred.

Either he deleted his profile there or just quit posting. He has stated here since then that now that Biden defeated Trump he doesn’t have the energy to continue the argument. Then several times since has posted his anti-Trump hatred. He keeps saying he dose not have the energy and yet keeps up the rhetoric.

Do not get me wrong, I cannot stand Trump either. It is that you cannot blame someone for pointing out the hypocrisy of repeatedly stating “I don’t have the energy but Trump is a big…….” Again and again.

As El hozel stated in an earlier post, ‘not trying to start a flame war’, just pointing it out.

El hozel, you have made a lot of statements about your nemeses not comprehending. I have to agree with them that your logic and offhand roundabout comments without a point of reference is extremely difficult to follow and comprehend. It may be a symptom of your being on the spectrum, but you seriously need to consider your audience and the information available to them, not just your private ‘roundabout’ understanding, before accusing them of not being able to comprehend you. Many of your comments are scattered, and quite honestly incomprehensible to your audience. Just as previously stated by others. Then your accusations of them not comprehending your comments reflects poorly on you.

OK, I made my point(s) about the recent flurry of activity mainly between Cash and El hozel, and also between ATA and El hozel.

If I do not poste before then, Merry Christmas to all. Keep the spirit and hope thru this often difficult time and have a safe Holiday season.

Lurker, I agree with most of your points, except that 'pretty much done' actually means that ATA isn't quite done, just as 'mostly peaceful' protests means that the protests aren't quite peaceful.
