I can agree that Sexsearch is a scam, but not a full scam. I got a $1 trial silver membership and it pretty much happened exactly like what the other bloggers are saying, you get emailed like a rock star for a few days. Then, after your membership is up, the emails suddenly stop even with being a basic member again. So, I do beleive that a lot of those profiles are fake. But I can't agree that ALL of them are fake otherwise no one would meet for sex, no one would get laid, eventually word would spread and the site would be no more. I am a basic member now again, I was a silver member, and after my own paranoia about the sites authenticity and reading this blog I'm seriously beginning to question if I really want to buy a membership or not. No matter what I do next, Thanks for the word of warning. I appreciate it.

Actually sexsearch is not all bad.I am sorry for you out there who has had bad experience with this web site. I am a female who signed up . So there are actually real females on this site looking just like you men. I have corrresponded with quite a few men that I have met on this site.Yes these men are real.I spoken to some on the phone.I met a couple in person.I am curently dating a terrifc guy whom I met on sexsearch .com web site.Just be patience you might just get lucky and meet someone really great like I did. Wink
I find that VERY hard to beleive especially ".I spoken to some on the phone" considering EVERY time I tried to email my contacts my email address, IM s/n, phone number, etc...it was ALWAYS "auto-filtered" out of the message because they don't want you to have the ability to contact each other outside of SexSearch...........probably just someone off the site trying to promote it.

What does this say about on line dating.
With a couple of exceptions like this one, most topics get from no replies to 3-4.
This post gets several PAGES.
I guess it really is true. Most online dating is just about sex for men and money women can make off that desire.
As someone replied to the OP-who cares.

I too have been stung. It has been a very fruitless and time wasting venture.

hey im a member of sexsearch.com, 18, female.
and i have had many experiences with men from this site. like at least 3 different men. because i wanted it to be NSA they came over, we did our thing and left.
my gay friend, found out, what i was doing when he saw a stranger leave my house, i told him, and he had many sex partners after that.
unless all of you are really old or really ugly i don't see why this site wouldn't work for you

Sex Search is a mixed bag. I met 2 women thru it and they were very real. Unfortunately, I liked one but she blew me off, then the other liked me but I didn't dig her. I also got alot of written responses but few were willing to take the next step and meet. Alot of the women who are on these sites Like most of these sites, you've got to throw allot of s**t against the wall until something finally sticks.

It is a scam and they are still running today. Unfortunately, they get away with it. It is a risk that goes with sites like this. They will lie to you and tell you what you want to hear. There's not much any one person can do about it. An expensive lesson to learn. There are some people who have no conscience or scruples. Live and learn.

I came to the conclusion it was a scam right away, I may stick with it a little longer just for fun. I'm an older guy getting a fair amount of emails from these hot young women; that doesn't really happen in real life. A lot of them are from thousands of miles away; why would they write to someone they are never going to meet? Then they don't reply.

Here's my take. There are pictures of beautiful women, and then not so beautiful. The beautiful ones (that don't need help getting dates, sex or anything else) send me IM's and emails. I'm not a member yet and don't reply. They keep writing back until you're curious enough to join, and then you send them an email and never hear from them again. I'm sure they are saleswomen (salesmen??) on a commission to sign up new members. I think that if they are the first email in your inbox, they get the commission. Also, gotta wonder why the babes pay to have silver and gold memberships??
