Marry your Match Contest

Bumble is giving 50 couples who met on its app a free wedding in Las Vegas.

According to People Magazine, the company announced its plan to celebrate couples who met via its platform with a free wedding, travel included. For one weekend, Bumble has rented out the famous Little White Chapel in Las Vegas and is turning it into a branded wedding venue for 50 lucky couples.

The chapel itself will be decorated in Bumble yellow, which the company is calling Little Yellow Chapel for the wedding weekend. The famous venue has hosted many celebrity weddings, including Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck in 2022, as well as Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner in 2019, according to People.

The dating app said it will provide travel and accommodations for each winning couple plus two witnesses they want to join, as well as a hair stylist, makeup person and a shopping stipend.

Bumble is asking people who met on its platform to share their love stories for a chance at the prize. (They are accepting submissions from those who already got married and want a chance to renew their vows as well, according to People.)

Winners will be selected based on their answers to the following proposal: “Tell us about your Bumble Dating story. Tell us everything, from first messages and dates, to how it’s going now, inside jokes, nicknames, etc. We want all the deets. The funny, the messy, all of it.”

The judges will all be representatives from Bumble, who will determine winners based on the most thought-provoking and genuine answers.

Participants can enter via Bumble’s website, and the company will be accepting submissions from April 9 through 30th at 11:59pm CST. All participants are required to be “a personally-registered account holder of Instagram, Facebook or X (formerly known as Twitter) in good standing with a public profile,” according to the contest rules.

Eligible participants don’t have to be a current Bumble account holder, but they had to have met their partner through the app. The contest extends only to adult residents of the U.S. and Canada.

In a press release, Amy Ferris, the company’s vice president of global marketing, said, “We look forward to bringing our community together this summer in a celebration like no other and to continue to spotlight the kind connections made on Bumble every day.”

“It’s an honor to play even a small part in every Bumble success story – whether it be a great first date, marriage or anything in between,” Ferris said. “Over the years we have received thousands of thank you notes, comments, wedding invitations and baby announcements, and that is what keeps us inspired every single day.”
