Summary of the 2008 Dating Sites Reviews Choice Awards

Here you will find a summary of all eleven dating site award winners in our second annual Dating Sites Reviews Choice Awards, which honours the best dating services of 2008. Links to the award articles and our full reviews of the dating sites are included.

Our top award is the Single's Choice Award and is decided by the public through a poll which ran from mid September 2008 until early January 2009. The poll contained 10 of the top dating sites on the internet in which you could vote for. This year we gave an award to the top 3 choices, Gold, Silver, and Bronze.

Single's Choice Award

	Recipient eHarmony Voters second choice this year is eHarmony. This dating site had just 5% less votes than Match.com which gave them 22 percent of the total vote. When you combined both Gold and Silver votes together, you will see that these two dating services made up 49 percent of the total vote. 	Recipient Yahoo! Personals The Bronze Single's Choice Award winner this year is Yahoo! Personals. While a popular dating service, Yahoo only received about half the votes of Match.com. Yahoo is planning a lot of new features for their dating site in the coming months so this service will be one to watch. Our next set of awards is the Editor's Top Picks. This category contains an overall best dating site award along with 7 other awards for the different niche dating categories. At DatingSitesReviews.com we took a long and hard look at each online dating site we have reviewed before deciding which site is most deserving for an award in a category. Most aspects of the dating site which affects a members experience is taken into account by us when determining the winner.

	Recipient Match.com The choice for the Editor's Top Pick Over All award is Match.com. This was an easy decision for us as Match.com has a lot to offer its members. 	Recipient Lavalife Do you want a dating site that has a large number of Canadian Members. If so, then our Editor's Top Pick for the Best Canadian dating site is ideal for you. 	Recipient eHarmony The dating site who received the Editor's Top Pick - Match System award should be no surprise this year. Every year since launch, eHarmony has become more and more popular. eHarmony is the only dating service that spends over $3 million a year on their match system and have 6 Ph. 	Recipient Lavalife Prime A relatively new comer, Lavalife PRIME was the recipient of our Editor's Top Pick Innovative award.
