This poll is the start of our annual Dating Sites Reviews Choice Awards which recognizes the best dating sites and services of the year in a number of different categories. The first year we honored dating sites with awards was 5 years ago in 2007.

The Single Choice Awards is a category which visitors can cast their vote on which paid and free dating service is their favorite. The top award is the Single's Choice Award and is decided by visitors to this site by a poll which ran from October 2010 until January 2011. The poll asks 2 questions. In the first you must recommend your choice for the top dating site from a selection of the 10 leading dating services on the internet. The second question is similar and allows you to choose your selection from seven free dating sites. In this category only, the top 3 choices receive either a , Gold, Silver, or Bronze award.
