How to get your ex back

excited
I figured I would write this on a forum so others could learn from my experiences. This is how I got a second chance and got my ex-boyfriend back.

About 8 months ago my ex dumped me. I was very depressed and could not eat or sleep. I even almost lost my job.

After about 3 months I slowly started to move on. I went out with friends first and then eventually started to date. I even made myself ignore my ex’s calls which was a good thing. Before I would sit at home and wait for him to call me.

Then about 2 months ago he was at my door crying. He told me it was the biggest mistake in his life to let me go. Fast forward to now and things are great. We are planning to move in together and are closer than ever before.

How I accomplished this was not to be always available to talk. As I said I would ignore his phone calls and when I did answer I would act like I was in a hurry to get off the phone. I made it look like I didn’t need him anymore. The odd time if we planned to meet up (we share a lot of friends) he would call and ask if I was still coming. I would let him know that either I had forgotten or something had come up. I basically made him wonder what I was up to.

He eventually realize that I was the one and that the grass is not always greener on the other side.

Take heart, there is hope sometimes in these situations. If you want to try to get your ex back then just let him be. Don’t write goodbye letters or texts. Let them think you are strong and if all works out they will eventually be back begging for you.

Never try to return your ex, this is a stupid idea.

Ex’s are sometimes an ex for a very clear reason. I’m glad you had a good ending, but for most people they should stay in the past.

I believe in true love so your story strikes a cord. I agree that sometimes hearts come back together if it’s meant to be. They say you should let love go and if it’s true it will come back to you. ❤️

This type of stuff can go either way. If the love is true no question it will prevail. If you were crazy and misguided, the breakup was best. Lean on your gut.

Your case is unusual. If you’ve been dumped it’s generally for a reason. IMO

Second chances are pretty rare.

I think “playing hard to get” is so fake. Who has time for that? Just be open and honest. Who wants someone back because they fell for your games???
