Is there a quality dating website specifically for widows and widowers?

I belong to two dating sites. I have lost two husbands and recently lost my fiancé, who I met online. Why hasn't anyone developed a quality dating website specifically for widows and widowers? Most websites are comprised of divorced people, who turn out to be "serial daters," although they profess to be interested in a long-term relationship. I joined two websites, supposedly for widows and widowers. One was in England, the other is pitiful! (no profiles about the men, difficult to maneuver, hardly any photos, etc.)
Most widowed people had long, happy marriages and would like to meet like-minded people, who want the same, again. Many people, on general sites, are divorced or never married, and have trust issues and/or are jumping from woman to woman. I met my late fiancé on Seniorpeoplemeet, and went back to that site. I have met some nice widowers, there, but they are few and far between. In addition, most live very far away. If there were a site for only widows and widowers, like there are for other specific categories, there would be a larger data base.

Sorry, I have no real suggestions for you (besides SeniorPeopleMeet.com which you already tried), for a widow/widower specific dating service. Any other dating site you find on the internet which caters to that specific niche only in my experience tend to have a very small membership database.
One other option I just thought of you could try would be Match.com. With their profiles they do have a relationship status of "Widowed". Once you create a profile on the site you could then search for other members in your location selecting Widowed as the relationship status you are interested in finding. They have a very large membership base so I am sure you will find some singles with that status at Match.com.

I absolutely agree with you. I was widowed young with an infant, toddler and 7 year old. Fast forward 26 years and it’s just so sadly evident there are no quality sites for this specific genre. I’m not sure why as it is something that affects both men and women of all ages. Like all dating genres it isn’t a one size fits all but really be nice to have something specific.
