I have tried 2 dating sites in the past year. Match.com and Plenty of fish.

I found Plenty of fish to be only okay. A lot of women on it in my age group (30-35) had kids and a lot of baggage. They also had super high expectations and tended to be looking for a guy with lots of money. I have a good job, a house, a car and average looks. I treated my dates with respect and I always tried to create a unique and romantic first date.

On the other hand I had much more success with Match.com. Maybe being a paid dating site weeding out the people not seriously looking for a relationship? I met a number of nice women in my area that I have a lot in common with. I am currently dating a woman now that I hope will turn into something more.

For someone serious about finding a relationship, I would recommend Match.com. It is worth the monthly fee for the type of women you will meet. Plenty of fish required just to much work to weed out all the duds.
