SexyAds has been in existence since 1997. Its members are mostly in the US, but it also has a contingent from every corner of the British empire. It is diverse, catering to single, married, and couples, straight, gay and trans, and everything from "penpals only" to BDSM. Fortunately, it has excellent search filters that let you focus on your own particular quest. The average member age is probably around 40. Whether that's good or bad will depend on what you're seeking. This is not the place to troll for young hotties. Billing is through CCbill, a biller with straightforward, no-tricks cancellations.
The site is full featured, with unlimited public and private photos, chat rooms, blogs, member videos, overt or covert profile viewing, a Facebook-style friends/comments page, and the aforementioned search filters. It uses check boxes to construct the basic profile, but encourages the creation of an "ad" to provide a unique narrative. You can search profiles, or browse ads, which is at first confusing. It's similar to doing a search or doing a category browse in eBay - two ways to get to the same place.
After spending a fairly active month on the site, I am convinced that it is completely scam-free. No fake profiles or come-on emails. I didn't get any dates, but I did get a few cordial replies from women who had obviously read my message and profile, and a respectable number of profile views. The site's weaknesses are that it doesn't have a huge membership and is cluttered with inactive profiles.
You can get a very good feel for the site without a paid membership. Profiles are fully visible, you just can't send mail or use some advanced features. But don't try to hide your email address in your ad. I got a very quick note from the site's housemother, saying that I should be ashamed of myself for trying to cheat an honest website. My bad.
It's definitely worth checking out if you fit its more mature demographic. I found it quite refreshing after all the scam sites I had browsed on.

I had to add to this posting. I have been on several other dating site some of which appear in other reviews. As a member of about 2 years on Sexyads.com, I can honestly say that it is a nicely run site. If there are any scammers, which I have not personally seen, they are quickly tended to by the admin. What I have found on this site is many very nice and respectful people. It is a small community yet it does not lack the variety. I have met some very people who I would consider friends. The blogs and chat rooms are two of my favorite stops on this site. Don't be fooled by the name of the site or some of the steamy profile pics, you are likely to find others with similar interests there.

I live in southern California and I paid for an one month subscription. On the first day I received 3 responses from women who were interested in me. I felt quite excited! However, none of the 3 women responded when I wrote them an email.

I wrote emails to women who lived closer than 40 minutes from my place but none responded. I then wrote emails to women who lived closer than one hour and 30 minutes but no one responded. I thought of extending it to 2 - 3 hours but it seemed ridiculous to me. Drive 3 hours to meet her and then drive 3 hours back?

I waited to see if any new women signed up who lived close to me but no one did.

On reflection, it seems odd that on the first day I sign up I received three emails from women who never responded back. I was a paying member for only one month and I did not renew my subscription.

All one has to do at "sexyads" is look at the FEW people in chat rooms! Just TRY to contact people on "search" or "browse" MOST are no longer members but yet sites KEEPS their profiles to look like more people there.
This site has LOST over 80% of their members since 2012!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

Been on SA for more than 10 years and can assure you that it is upfront and honest. Any time I've ever seen or been approached by someone who appears the least bit "commercial" or unethical they have been thoroughly researched by staff after I reported them. Most cases they've been removed immediately. Beyond that we, as a couple, were ever only able to meet once with another couple who apparently didn't know how or didn't bother to read our add. We knew it was a bust before the waitress brought us our drinks. That was many years ago and since then I have met and had a sexual encounter with one man who was very ungenerous plus would not stop talking. I got no reciprocation so I won't be back.

Now the site feels like a place for a few dozen middle aged "BBW's" to complain about their health, families and lack of affection. I won't be renewing my paid membership once it expires this year.

A GREAT many of profiles are of people no longer at sexy ads. Just TRY to contact someone. Look in chatrooms FEW of SAME people there. I would NOT recommend this site!

Sexy ads is the worst place to meet women! They only let people post blogs bashing President Trump, if you post support for him they will spit you out of the site like a pariah! In short order the site is runned by anti American leftists! Go somewhere else my fellow Americans and let sexy ads wither on the vine!

The site is full of lying, cheating women who should have been swallowed at birth.

Do NOT sign up, do not trust anybody on there - they aren't your friends and will always want you to do stuff for them (i.e. give money - sometimes to fake campaigns).

Curious is anyone using this now? Issues or complaints?
