Somehow last weekend I found myself sat on this website and after browsing a few profiles thought I might as well sign up just to see what it was like. I favourited a few profiles that interested me, then my procrastination and other interests took me away from the site.
After looking through the junk mailbox on my hotmail I discovered I had been sent more than 50 emails so decided to check the site. I look at the notification options and see that the default is to notify with daily and weekly updates and every time someone messages you, winks at you, favourites you or views your profile. A mere 8 days after joining, I discover that I have no fewer than 32 messages from women whose ages range from 18 to 71 (I'm 29), from as far afield as Fife and East Sussex (I'm in the midlands). Not only that, but nobody has actually viewed my profile, which is not too surprising as I've not filled it in. Of course, when I click on a message to view it I'm told that only paying members can read messages.

Is it just my cynical mind, or does it all seem a bit bait and switch?
