ok so i been seeing alot of people asking for 100% free dating sites well i am an owner of a dating site and well i been thinking about opening a site that has 100% free but..... would everyone support it by clicking on it ad's ONE time a day??? it cost money to run dating site/ any site for that matter so there would have to be some sort of way for the site to at the very least pay for it self to be up and running... how would every one feel about it?

If you put serious links I will click on it. But if you send me to other paying web site (as I saw many times) I will not click. But if it is sites from serious company yes I will click on the links.

yeah I would click the link but depending on how you do it you could have them pay if they want more people to see their ad so like higher in the list of matches

Yes, I would, but not sure for how long such site would be able to stay away from desire to start generating more profit…

Funny enough, I actually thought myself about that.
I am not interpreter or reach, but creation of the site is not a problem. More than that, anyone with more or less normal level of income can create site, etc… it is not that expensive. I bet much less then some of us already paid to scam sites …
However the problem is if site becomes popular? Then actually maintenance cost, and other associated with this “business” will become not too high but not really suitable for average “Joe” to support from philanthropic reasons… But site to be truly free, you still some sort of model which will not ask anyone ever to pay… only then “ratio” of fake profiles will be very low… Likely still will be some, but not for reasons to lure you in, as there is no “benefit” if customers do not pay.

Drive it by advertisements/links mentioned above? Technically possible, but still means that there will be business case to “lure you in”, because someone needs to click on links to make money.

I guess, if someone comes up with workable “truly” free model for dating site, or just some reach philanthropist will create and maintain it, then there is a chance that online dating will be “cleaned up”… until then personally I think, only more and more “fakes” after guys money will appear.
