I have spent about 1k on AM and have met 1 cutie for sex and will meet another soon. The profiles are not all fake but many are. AM does not want you (us men) to know the true ratio of men to women that I peg to be about 300 to 1. I know this because I did a control profile as a woman and 1 minute after joining I had 3 people trying to IM me and about 800 messages (including winks, key requests, regular mail, and keys within the first 48 hours). Me as a guy can send 100 mails a day with no replys for a week. My advice is have good photos, stick to one town, be polite and send priority mail, and DON'T SEND MAIL TO THE PHOTOS WITH GREAT PUBLIC PHOTOS! Those are the profiles that get 400 messages a day and are generally fake. good luck.
