The companies that run these hook-up sites employ women to reply to men's messages. I've got a friend who does this job, working from home and getting paid 15p per message she answers. When you send a message to someone it's sent to some random woman to reply to. Every reply you get actually comes from a different person each time! This is why you will never even get her phone number (let alone a real date) even after weeks/months of chatting. She's 'busy', 'needs to get to know you better', 'has trust issues' etc etc. All these kind of sites operate the same way. Stop giving them your money and they'll disappear.
