Yahoo! Personals has a new feature called Quick View. This features main goal is to allow users to scan potential matches faster. Instead of the standard profile view, members can select from 15 different date makers or breakers. These trait types include, age, alcohol, smokers, etc.., you are allowed to choose up to 8. The quick view box is located just below the photo of the single person in the main profile view. When viewing the profile this allows members to easily see if there are any deal breakers or makers, instead of having to spend the time looking through the profile details for all of the required information.

Dating Site Poll How often do you log into an online dating site?

has some interesting results. At the time of this news story over 100 people had voted and almost half (50 singles, 49.16%) say that they login to their dating site at least once a day. From here, the dating poll results steadily declines until the last answer, "Once every couple of weeks". This answer gathered 20.75% of the vote.

So what does this all mean? To me this is good news, it looks like most people who are actively using online dating services do login daily, most likely check for mail or to look for new matches. So remember, keep your profile updated and if your unsure about sending mail to someone on a dating site, go ahead, there is a good chance they may respond.
