After creating a free account it is recommended that you upload a photo since only member's with photos appear in the search results. You should also update your profile as it will only be about 15% completed after registration with only the basic information entered. Under your profile you will also find Message Ideas that you can select which one's you would want singles to ask you. These are present to members who wish to message you and are are great way to break the ice.

When you find some matches you like and you wish to chat live with them or send a message, you will need to pay for a subscription which can cost under $2 a week.

Senior People Meet takes your privacy and safety seriously. Under My Account you can setup features to control who sees your profile, block users, and change your online status.

The 2015 Top Pick - Wealthy Award from the Editor's goes to the dating service MillionaireMatch. This service has been online since 2001 and has had over 2.6 million singles sign up for a membership. By our estimation this dating service is the largest dating service in it's niche of matching wealthy singles and admirers.

2015 was about growth for MillionaireMatch. With the release in the previous year of the Android and iOS dating apps is has allowed MillionaireMatch to expand their market share and reach more people. One of the reasons for MillionaireMatch's popularity is the ability to have your photos and millionaire status verified. Verified members are marked with a Diamond icon. Being able to trust that the information in a profile is correct is very important and leads to a lot more communication requests by other members.

The service also has a host of other features which keeps it in the running (every year) for the Editor's top pick award. These include:

Christian Mingle is the recipient of the 2015 Editor's Top Pick - Christian Award. This dating service is available via their website and dating apps for both the iPhone and Android devices. From our estimation using a number of online traffic tools we found that it is the leading dating service for Christian singles seeking like minded people.

This dating service has gone through a lot of changes this year. We have seen a number of updates for their dating app which brought in new features like new search criteria, complete layout redesign, and a updated registration process to improve access to the app. With the streamlined user experience which simplifies interactions between members we also saw the new Daily Matches feature which presents to the user when they sign in a collection of matches. Tablet and iPad users were not forgotten as the app layout takes advantage of the larger screen real estate that these devices offer.

Christian Mingle didn't forget about their website either. In December we saw a brand new interface as well which included a lot of new improvements along with a vastly updated layout which makes finding all the different features of this dating service easier. Interaction between members also have improved since now both the website and dating apps now share the same communication platform.

Christian Mingle’s also held onto their high rating at the Better Business Bureau (BBB). They are a BBB Accredited Business and have been a member since 1999 and continue to hold a A- rating. According to the BBB Spark Networks (which owns Christian Mingle) is "commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints".

After 8 days we now have received 31 votes. It would be great if the poll received 500 voters by the end of this year (for reference last year we got 359).

The Single's Choice Award is our most important award since it is the only one decided on by you, the visitors of DatingSitesReviews.com. The poll has 2 questions, with the first one asking what you feel the best paid dating service is. You can choose 1 from a choice of 8 of the most popular dating services (both websites and apps are listed). The second question is similar but asks which you think is the best free dating service. You can then choose 1 from 8 of the most popular free dating services. The Editor's at Dating Sites Reviews consider a dating site free when a member can create a profile, add photo's, search, and then communicate via email with their matches for free and with no credit card required. Free dating sites may still offer some sort of paid upgrade for additional features (as almost all do now these days anyways).

This is the ninth year for the DSR Awards (Wow has it been almost a decade!). Starting in January 2016, each few days or so we will release our choice for one of the Top Pick Awards. This will end on Valentine's Day in February with the winner of our top award, the Single's Choice Award.

Here is the summary of the eighth annual Dating Sites Reviews Choice Awards. These awards honour the best dating services of 2014 in eleven different categories. These will be the sites worth joining in 2015.

Our top award is the Single's Choice Award and is decided by a public poll that all visitors can vote in. This poll ran from October 2014 until January 2015. The poll asks 2 questions, with the first asking you to recommend your choice for the top dating site from a selection of the seven leading dating services on the internet. The top three dating services who receives the most votes will be the recipient of a Gold, Silver, and Bronze award. The second question is similar in nature but it asks you to choose your selection from seven of the most popular free dating sites. With the separate free category there is only a gold award.

Our Silver Single's Choice Award of 2014 goes to eHarmony. eHarmony came close to winning gold this year (just needed 5% more votes) and this site is still considered number one for finding long-term relationships.

The 2014 Bronze Single's Choice Award recipient is Zoosk. Zoosk last received this award back in 2012. They have kept adding features which has kept their service fresh and current and in the forefront of single's minds when they think about joining a dating service.

We launched the 2014 Dating Sites Reviews Single's Choice Award poll in September of 2014 and we closed the poll to voting during the first week of January, 2015. After running for about 4 months we had 359 voters participate. The first question of the poll is about which dating service you believe deserves to win our top 2014 Dating Sites Reviews Single's Choice Award. The top spot for this award receives Gold, followed by Silver and then Bronze. For this question we listed the top 7 dating services you can cast one vote for.

The recipient of the Gold 2014 Single's Choice Award is Match.com. Match.com grew in popularity this year and received almost 5% more votes than last year. For 2014 Match received 24.3% of the vote which works out to 87 voters. The silver award winner received 5% less votes.

The recipient of the Silver 2014 Single's Choice Award is eHarmony. It was a huge year for eHarmony. After Dr. Neil Clarke Warren came back as CEO, eHarmony was able to grow their membership base by an astonishing 54%. This year eHarmony received 71 votes by our visitors which is 19.83% of the total votes cast.

The recipient of the Bronze 2014 Single's Choice Award is Zoosk. For 2014 Zoosk received 54 votes. This is 15.08% of all the votes. It was a tight race for Bronze as we saw the dating service Are You Interested receive 49 votes which is just 5 less than Zoosk.
