Are fake Ashley Madison complaint sites popping up?

If you Google "Ashleymadison" and "sucks" (or something like that), this one site comes up very prominently:
http://www.ashleymadisonsucks.com/

But if you read the "complaints", even the worst ones couch by saying they're new, and they don't know yet. Or, they say the guys are just idiots and don't read women's profiles before responding, or they're not realistic, blah blah blah. The complaints don’t seem real, and instead seem more like “just try it, it may or may not work, but just try it”.

That's a transparent way to deflect away from the point, that real people aren't complaining because they're not getting responses. We all know how that works, and that one might not get responses on a legitimate site, for a variety of reasons.

They're complaining because they think the sites are actively enticing people to switch from free winks to paid subscripts with fraudulent fake profiles. Or worse, by actively using the fake profiles to wink or send collect emails, to get people to pay to respond.

The reality is, not one "complaint' on the complaint site is actually a complaint. And to top it off, one even randomly posts that they received a link for "another" Ashleymadison complaint site:
http://www.ashleymadisonscam.org/

And low and behold, same posts there, or similar, and not one addresses the REAL complaints from REAL people about alleged fraud.

I just sit back and wonder if the folks at Ashleymadison are just that F'ing stupid, to think anyone buys their bogus "complaint" sites. I can't legally say that Ashleymadison is doing this, but I can give my opinion that it looks this way from all outward appearances.

The thing that really irks me is that sites like Ashleymadison are based on a good solid business model, and they could make a ton of money by providing a service, ethically. They shouldn’t need to have to try and cheat their customers with fake profiles (so it’s appears, but that’s speculation), or by automatically renewing credits without making it clear this would happen (this did happen to me).

I wonder if some U.S. or State Attorney would be interested in investigating this type of fraud. And no, I’m not in any way affiliated with any other site - just a REAL unsatisfied Ashelymadison customer.

I'd easily bet the $49 I wasted on AM that all of those sites are very much set up and run by the company itself. They are supposedly run by guys that had a bad experience on there, yet where are these so-called "bad" experiences posted exactly? The site(s) are clearly BS... on one of the sites, there is a post where someone points out that there are identical profiles on AM and on Cougar Life (another AM property). Immediately after there is an "editor note" that says "several" female members contacted the site to say that they had opted in to create accounts on both sites. I believe that is probably true... what I don't believe is that the real married women who are already timid and afraid to get outed went out of their way to contact this site, just to clear up any confusion. And then, the site owner who is supposedly disappointed in AM, goes out of his way to DEFEND them. Are you F-ing kidding me? There are several more examples of that in other posts. Even if it was an independent site, there is too much love for AM, Cougar Life, and Arrangement Seekers, all owned by Avid Life. If it was truly independent, where are the shout outs to the other scam dating sites? Finally, as of right now, if you go to ashleymadisonsucks.info, it redirects to the main AM site.

I also just learned that many sites share profiles. I subscribed to the Social Network, and received responses from people on AFF and one other one.

And you're right, it appears that many of these sites are subsidiaries of the same owners.

Yeah those sites are clearly ran by Ashley Madison. Theres no actual real complaints on there. I tried several times to post my actual complaints and they were never published in the site.

They claim "the problem is you, you don't know how to approach women"

That theory holds no water because the women don't even look at my profile to begin with. If I send out an email/wink and the lady looks at my profile, and chooses not to respond, then I would believe she wasn't interested in me. But when you send out 25 emails AND NO ONE EVEN LOOKS AT YOUR PROFILE, something is clearly fishy. They don't look at your profile because they are not real. They are fake accounts meant to lure you in.

AM is the perfect scam. They steal your money through deception, and no one will fight back because they are embarrassed to admit they used the site.

Here is the real inside scoop to the website AshleyMadisonSucks.com ... the website was originally started by well meaning individual from California to warn others of the scams employed by Ashley Madison. The types of warnings you see on the site (which have now been removed), featured real complaints from members of AshleyMadison.com. They include such complaints as:

- Ashley employing fake "hostesses" to chat with members
- Ashley using fake profiles to lure customers to pay
- Ashley's real men to female ratio which is obviously not too attractive

In any case, AshleyMadison.com filed a lawsuit against the owner of the site in Canada. To read more about the lawsuit, go here:

http://www.manogamy.com/2010/07/ashleymadison-sues-gripe-site-ashleymadisonsucks-com-because-its-confusingly-similar/

They can't file a lawsuit in the US because the courts will just laugh at them since we have free speech protection here. But in Canada, there is no such law. By employing such tactics and by strong arming the poor owner of AshleyMadisonSucks.com, they finally manage to get him to settle and cede the website over to them.

So yes, not AshleyMadisonSucks.com is a fake Ashley Madison complaint website that is operated by Ashley Madison themselves.

Hope this information help.
