This dating site (a spin-off of Plenty of Fish, only this one is not free) is a COLOSSAL joke and not worth spending 5 cents on. I recently came across an Ad for it while on Plenty of Fish so thought I would check it out. It claimed to be geared solely toward single who were seriously seeking long term relationships. The following excerpts in the description interested me:

"We only allow singles who are actually looking for long-term relationships to sign up. No more browsing online dating profiles wondering if that person is actually serious about finding someone!"

and....

"At eVow, we use an innovative compatibility matching system that we created specifically for singles who are serious about finding long-term relationships."

After I created my profile, I did a search for men local to me. What a huge joke. One of my top matches was a man who indicated he was seeking a long term relationship......but then immediately into his profile he admitted to being married and seeking someone married as well for a "discrete adventure."

His was not the only one.

The vast majority of men are "separated." What a joke. One is clearly in no position to be seeking a true, long term relationship when they're still legally married.

This is the same kind of crap you find on a free site such as POF, but on this site, to have access to basic features you have to pay. Now WHY would anyone PAY to have to wade through players, dogs, fakers and married guys?

Took me 10 minutes to DELETE my profile.

Do yourself a favor, don't waste your time like I did.

Agreed, only difference is the non-stop girl on there claiming to be looking for a relationship. Many of the guys are looking for the one thing and obviously find it non stop or else they would not be on there. It's a two way street. I'm a good looking person, built muscular, good job, no kids, healthy attitude and personality, no bad habits and looking for a relationship. But every time I think I met a good girl she ends up dating five other guys at the same time and she is on POF or Evow non-stop. Her excuse and I'm sure we have all heard this one " I signed in and it keeps me logged in ". What ever, find a new excuse girls and boys.

Completely and utterly agreed full of sad losers of either sex who spoil it for genuine people quickly into a conversastion guys start being rude or asking if ur up for fun there are 4 kinds of men on evow ..players ...invisible guys with no pics yer right ... sad loosers who think its cool to have a pic with no shirt on and grade A fruit cakes who tell u they love u after six texts ..do me a favour ....sadly I guess some women are as bad I guess ...and if there are any genuine guys then I apologise ...but im fed up with the whole evow crap .

I agree evow is horrible. The worst selection of men ever to be seen within an online dating platform. Steer clear of this site women as it is a complete waste of time and effort.

I agree, but I will go one further, most of the profiles are fake the military one's are the worst, you know that those are definitely fake, this site is a joke,

sour grapes girls ! you can find a decent man almost anywhere,but there are 2 problems. there are only a small percentage of good men and most of you wouldn't know one if you tripped over em. a guy with a pony tail,with a beard that grows into his teeth,wearing buck knife is probably not a doctor,but if his act is even okay most of you will buy it.most aggressive guys are just looking to get laid. ever consider someone that has respect,and honesty. you don't even know the he exsists,cause nes not up in your face telling you the lies you wanta hear. you created these frankenstiens by being to picky and demanding. if a guy says to you ,yeh im working at Kmart,right now,cause iwas in a bad car accident and lost my job.faster than a speeding bullet,your gone.didnt even stay long enough to learn he is getting a high six figure settlement and he was an engineer. we quickly learned that we have to lie just to get in the door,then a lot of us get bitter,then hateful and finally a lying scumbag.girls you need to step up and pick your men.dont just sit and wait,because obviously the liars,cheaters and scammers are much more active and aggressive, then the decent guys. so that's what your gonna get. horn dogs. girls-beproactive,find the kinda guy you want! any decent guy would be so flattered,he jump out of his shoes,if hes not hes probably a jerk or a player so move on.!!
