I've posted to at least 3 boards for singles before I wised up and saw their true colors.

You might think that the boards I'm referring to (and they know who they are) were started by singles who got tired of the game-playing or being burned by dating services, so they got some board hosting software and decided to do something to help the rest of us avoid those mistakes. WRONG!!!

One thing all those singles' boards have in common is that they're all run by moderators who have the attitude "ha ha, I'm one of the 1 in 1,000 people who met the love of my life through online dating, and you're not", and they use this like a stick to beat those of us who are still looking.

Do yourself a favor, whenever you see a singles board, DO NOT post to it!!! You will save yourself a lot of time and frustration by refusing to get caught up in the moderators' little game.

Most singles boards do have their share of a**holes but I find they tend not to be the moderators. Most people who miss behave also get kicked in a week or so and some boards even have the ability to allow you not to display any messages by a user.

Plenty of sih is such a board that if you do not go along with the members' mindset and especailly the administrator , you will be banned.

Pelnty of fish is unfortuantely gaining a lot of popularity and not just inside the dating community.
