Hi everyone
I have been reading this forum for a few days and finally decided to write......
After 15 years with the same man, it ended. Now I am trying to restart my life, and the first step turned out to be the scariest one: talking to people again. Not coworkers, not family. New people. Where do you even begin?
Two weeks ago I registered on Miaromance. Two weeks. That is nothing. I am still figuring out the features, what to put in my profile, how to answer messages, how fast is too fast and how slow is too slow......
And here is the funny part. People keep messaging me. EVERY day someone new says hello. I like it, honestly, and so far the site seems interesting. But it is all new to me and I feel like I am doing everything by trial and error. I read a few Miaromance reviews before registering, but none of them explained what to do once the messages start coming. Should I answer everyone? Should I wait a day? Are icebreakers a good idea or too much?
If you have been here longer than me, I would LOVE some advice. What worked for you? What would you do differently?
