Written responses vs. e mail

I have used the personals in Dallas in an alternative weekly that is still in exsistence but does not carry the personals.
From about 1981 to 1990, they made the advertiser pay for the ad and people could reply for free. This was a MUCH better system I got real photos, nice stationary and even some perfumed letters.
It was very romantic when I look back and I had several long term relationships during that time.
Nwo with just computer dating, it is too easy to just click to another if you are not interested. In other words, you have no financial incentive to respond. And it is too easy to overlook someone that had they written you a letter, you might have called them. And ALL the letters had phone numbers. Please se my post concerning phone numbers.
This is my last series of posts.
Does anyone know of any sites that actually use corresponse using the US mail?
