A buddy of mine told me about Colombiadates, so I figured I’d give it a shot. I’ve had some good conversations here real ones not just quick hellos. Met folks from different places, even other countries. Pretty amazing when you think about it how technology lets us talk like that.

Gotta hand it to the people who built Colombiadates, it’s a solid platform. I also like those old-school stickers, they remind me of the stuff we used years ago just wish there were more of them. At the end of the day, I’d rather spend time talking on Colombiadates than wasting it scrolling through social media

Well said, I totally agree, that’s the best part of the platform: it’s not just “hey/bye” chats, but real conversations you can actually get into. And yeah the stickers give off that cool nostalgic vibe. I’ve also noticed it feels way more genuine here compared to mindless scrolling on other social apps

Not really sure why I’m posting this, but I just wanted to share this with you guys. Last few years have been rough. Lost some people close to me. Then the job the one I thought I’d stay at until retirement that disappeared too. After that, it was like the days all blurred together. Nothing really mattered much. I’d wake up and just stare at the floor for a while. No real reason to do anything. One night, couldn’t sleep, ended up browsing around and found Colombiadates. Just seemed like another site. But I started talking to someone on there, nothing deep. But I kept coming back. Somehow those little chats became the one part of my day I actually looked forward to.
I don’t know what it was just having someone to talk to, I guess. No pressure, no expectations. Just a real person on the other end, listening. Felt normal again for a bit. Funny how something so simple can help more than all the real life stuff. I still have bad days. Still figuring it all out. But I’m not where I was. And honestly, I don’t feel quite so alone anymore.
