all these posts are heartbreaking and not finding anyone. who has some good stories to share about dating online or relationships. i need something happy

ha ha you know what they say. people usually complain more than they compliment. i'm in customer service and it's always been that way.

so my happy story is that the longest relationship that i had (2 years) was from an online dating experience. it was a beautiful relationship but we both switched jobs and it became impossible to see each other because of travel. if not for that, we would still be together. he was a great guy, not a scammer as everyone complains about, and overall we were compatible. we still see each other from time to time but it's not serious right now. who knows what the future holds

Happy here too. Met some nice people and met some freaky people. The nice outweighs the freaky. If I didn't like it, I wouldn't still be doing it.

Happy story is that i was married and my wife cheated on me several times with several people and she lied to be about it. Why it's happy is that i finally realized that I'm strong enough to tell her that i'm done, and now i'm enjoying conversations with good people I found on dating sites. Life can be better if you move away from toxic people, especially if that toxic person was married to you. she isn't my responsibility any more and i couldn't be happier!!!!!
