Let’s be frank. My girlfriends and I had a huge discussion on spending habits for our SOs. How much do you spend on birthday and holiday gifts for someone you are just dating? Or married? Put how many years you are dating or married.

For instance:
I spent $200 on his birthday gift last year and we’ve been dating 2 years. This year I was planning about the same, maybe a little more. He’s worth it! 🙂

Gifts are big to me. In the past I’ve spent on avg 300 or so on birthday and holiday gifts if I was dating her for more than a year. I’m known for being a thoughtful gift giver which I am. I enjoy putting a smile on her face and knowing it was picked out especially for her. I also pay attention to things she likes and put some research into things. This is probably what exes remember me for the most which isn’t a bad thing.

I’m single now. anyone’s birthday coming up?

When I was dating my wife I usually did $100-150. I allowed myself that budget because she is special to me. Don’t get me wrong I bought her stuff year round but this was for the actual birthday. Now that we are married the sky is the limit because it’s usually things we both can use like a new couch etc.

I assume you are sleeping together, physically intimate? That’s the closest you can bond with another human being. And you value her at $20? I’m offended and it’s not even my life.

I agree with Truth. You’re a selfish cheap a$$ if you are in a relationship and having sex with someone and you spend $20 bucks on them for a gift.

I feel bad for the lady If she received the gift and feels that’s what’s she’s worth too. Can you imagine? fu€king sucks. Someone else will value her. Run lady run.
