So when I'm on POf I noticed something odd. How can a profile show last login dec 2020 but then a search of username show recent within few hours?

I would love the communities thoughts on this.

So after some investigating it appears pof indeed is making some look online. Asking a few who haven't been on have said they weren't. Going online to the webbrwoswr and viewing profile confirms they are using inactive profiles and making them look online.

This only applies when the actual page of the profile says for example dec 2020 and the search pr last online tab shows last online 2 hours. Etc.

If the person wasn't on the profile will show the real last online date on a pc browser view and the app will show same for the profile while the search name and last online will show literally recent.

I hope this helps people. It is pof trickery to get people to buy into it and match has gotten smart to screw people who pay.

Think about it if you met someone and they failed to actually delete profile and pictures, only deleting the app they will use trickery to generate more appearance of online locals.

I wonder how many relations were fine then this caused break ups or fights. I believe their tos hidden somewhere has this in it njt this should literally be a pain and suffering type lawsuit as it from what I've seen caused severe issues and grief for some.
