Dating with celiac disease

I'm a 42 yo male who's currently dating. I was diagnosed with celiac disease 3 years ago. Since then, I've been unable to get past the first date before getting rejected. When we order dinner, I have to reveal to the waitstaff that I can't tolerate gluten. I had never had this much trouble getting past the first date before. What advice do you have? What's the best way to approach dating with celiac disease?
