I got 14 likes in the first week.
I sent 14 reply with only one return reply . A 350 lb 72 yr old cougar looking for a Steve McQueen

Then I tried POF or is it POS , looking for the same a casual coffee outing date .
I got 11 likes in the first week. along with 12 who want to meet me
I sent 14 reply with only two return reply . Not even close to what I want

then i read a few reviews of POS and Match I am not alone. Lots of Dead profiles hookers and scammers

I realize no one responded to your post from a long time ago, but I'm spreading the word today, so decided to respond to this for someone else to benefit. It's not pretty out there online dating. There are good people out there, but a lot of deadbeats and scammers too. You just have to be careful with what you are doing, and the information that you are giving out. Just like you wouldn't be comfortable walking in a room of strangers and picking a random person to have a serious relationship, online dating is the same thing. You've got to take time to get to know the people and figure out if they are the real deal. Take it slow.

Don’t get too discouraged. Some days will be bad but hopefully you’ll find someone you like and worth your time.

Thank you. I meant it all. Sometimes people think online dating is safer because you have a laptop in between and you aren't meeting in person. But, the risks out there are real. You can't let your guard down, but at the same time you need to let it down a little to try and maybe meet someone nice out there. It's a balance for sure.
