I have been a member of the Stitch community for over 2 years. I joined Stitch when I lived in the Atlanta area, and I met some of the greatest friends! They were quality people, absolutely no scammers, and we had much fun together. When I moved to Houston last year, I noticed the Stitch community was almost nil. I found out that the Stitch community was just getting launched here, so I started posting some events and had great turnouts! I met single men, women, and married couples who were all there to enjoy the company of others who were interested in the same type of activity. At this time of social distancing, I have been posting games and "dinner dates" via Zoom. It is a great way to get to know people.

Stitch is like no other community. It is not a "dating" site, although romance can be a part of your profile description. It is a place to get to know quality people without the scammers, trollers, and unsavory characters that many dating websites offer. If you are looking for a dating site, look elsewhere. If you are looking to meet some great people across several continents and across the US as well as in your area, then Stitch is the perfect place to be. Stitch membership fees solely help to run the organization. Having a careful hold on what people can do and see on the site helps to maintain an element of safety not offered on other sites. Give it time, you will see that it is truly a community. There is a free membership that does limit what you can do - that should keep away those that are not interested in building a community, and for those that are interested it gives a way for you to check it out.
