A while ago I worked at a clothing store. A cute guy comes in and asked for help. I found him what he wanted and from their it grew into a conversation that I can’t remember all the details of.

Weeks later I swiped right on a guy on Tinder. He was good looking and looking interesting. Later that day he he messaged me asking if I remembered him. I didn't which he then refreshed my memory from my story above about my job.

We chatted a bit on tinder some more and I was thinking that there may be a date in the future. I went to work the next day and told a friend from work about it. She wanted to see his pic so I showed her his profile. I thought she saw a ghost. She told me she saw him at work yesterday and also at a party later that night. Supposedly he told her at the party how they were the perfect match and he loved her and other weird things that you don’t say to someone the second time you meet them. After that meeting she always avoided him after that when he showed up at the store.

Because of the story from my coworker I decided that I shouldn’t get involved with him. Also he doesn’t seem to understand boundaries and I don’t want to date someone who has a thing for my coworker.

In hindsight I should have been honest with him but I just unmatched. A few weeks go by and on a day I was working a guy came in with a large hat. He wandered around for a while and I found him staring at me a few times, I was a little creeped out. I finally realized it was the Tinder guy. He had his hair down (and it was greasy) and with the hat I didn't realize at first who he was.

I was checking out another customer and he gets in line with some socks, it clearly is a purchase to have an excuse to talk to me. I decided to pretend I had no idea who he was. He asked some random question about the socks to start a conversation I presume. I anwsered quickly and gave him his bag with his socks with a smile and have a good day sir. He paused with a surprise and stared at me like I was crazy. He then just walked out.

I have not seen him since. It may have been immature for me to ghost him like that but acting like a stalker and was being far more immature.
