The information you provide on the above dating site is somewhat misleading. Because of your recommendation, I paid one month's subscription. In the first twenty-four hours, I was bombarded with flirts, profile visits etc and after that nothing! So it was plainly obvious they pay people/use bots to make the new customer think they have 'cracked it.' Member's within a reasonable distance to me (Cyprus) were thin on the ground and at least 10% of them were not even 'real' member's. So, I looked wider afield (Turkey) I found a member whose profile looked interesting/feasible and I made contact. The contact wanted me to send money for a new Iphone 6 no less, so ‘she’ could contact me on Skype. Then ‘she’ wrote: if I sent her money for a flight ‘she’ would come from Istanbul to visit me. The first demand rang alarm bells of course, so I strung the person along, giving me time to find their exact geo location, telephone number, masked/hidden IP addresses (I am an IT expert with thirty years’ experience) No surprise then that the contact was in Ghana. I passed all the details onto the Ghanaian police, after which I reported the member to Passion. Give Passion their due, the false profile was swiftly deleted. I then decided to investigate further and spread my search even further, to the far east and beyond. Within hours I was bombarded with profile visits, messages, flirts etc etc from Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong etc etc and even China. Every single one of those were false ID's and un-confirmed. After five days I had seen enough and closed my account. I contacted Passion support demanding my month's subscription be returned. Seven days have since passed and no response from Passion. I am now beginning to suspect that even this site may be owned/run by the Passion group of companies. I have to inform you that if the latter is the case, so be it. But, I also have to inform you that once my investigation is finished and fully documented, I will be starting an internationally coordinated action against the Passion group of companies and any company associated with them. I will leave no stone unturned in bringing the whole debacle crashing to its knees!
Anyone out there willing to get in line and join me? I am not hiding behind any 'screen' so if you would like to add to my 'portfolio' please email me in the first instance at: wizardofmann@manx.net
This is going to be a long and drawn out/expensive affair. Please only respond if you intend to see this thing through to the very end. There must also be Lawyers, Solicitors, advocates, Judges.....who have experienced the dating debacle. Please step forward and offer your services Pro Bono, as we will need all the help we can get and more.
P.S. If this post gets 'lost' or deleted, then I have another 'suspect' to add to my growing list!
