Match and conversation disappeared

It seems that a conversation with a match that seemed to go well disappeared altogether with that match just today! I had a notification of a message from that match and went to open and there was nothing! I am not sure if i was blocked or unmatch as nothing on previous messages indicated that it would be the case. How can i know for sure?
