If anything the Internet connects others but is more shallow, not less shallow-especially a get laid instantly site? It's good to use a matchmaking site with quality as the central focus if your looks aren't your main positive component. But if looks are your best feature, avoid sites that detail quality aspects. Hot women want to get laid but they aren't looking for losers. Hot women want to date but they aren't looking for losers so put your best foot forward as appropriate to the situation. And be realistic.

First thing I noticed was that a 'silver membership' was advertised at $29.95 in the UK. When I started the joining process, I noticed that it was about to charge my credit card £29.95; which is considerably more more money than $29.95.
No reply when I complained to the site.
You've only got to look at the profiles to sniff a scam. All much of a muchness. And not too many badly written ones, which is unusual on a dating site.
I've been informed that a woman in my immediate vicinity wanted to contact me, clicked on her profile and was taken to a 'join now' page, where she was then shown to be from an address over 80 miles away.
I watched a documentary recently, in which a call centre was shown. Everyone there was writing profiles or sending 'replies' to suckers who joined sites like this!
The only benefit, I can see, is that I can unleash my daily frustrations on such sites. It's no trouble to me to go to their 'contact' area...and unleash a set of insults and accusations on them when I want to. Latest was my asking if they'd read the latest research that working in these centres creates impotence and infertility.

Joined meetlocals,com last week. I have experienced the same things as other posts. Before i even added a picture or filled out my profile i was getting friend requests and messages that so and so requested you contact her or sent you a private message or a flirt. How can i get those with no picture and a completely empty profile? Site is obviously a scam. Only thing you can do for free is send a free wink. But almost all the girls on the site are free members so they cannot contact you. In short, unless you pay you cannot do anything. It seems that messages and popups are automatically sent to you just to trick you into paying for a membership. Since i did not pay for a membership, i never found out what the supposed private messages were. No doubt they were all scams. It did seem there were some real women on the site. Unfortunately, almost all of them were extremely unattractive or freakish looking. I was suspicious of the site from the start and glad i trusted my gut and did not pay money.

I have been through a great deal of dating sites with no luck, but I checked this one out but promised myself it would be my last and it truly was because I found the man of my dreams on this site, except u have to be good and recognizing the untrustworthy and being able to tell if people are being real with you. I met this guy and we have been in a relationship since April of 2010. You have to use common sense and just be careful. But I have to thank the site for helping me find my night in shining armor.

None of the ladies seem to be who they say they are? or live in the areas they claim to be from? and after a very short time are asking for money for one reason or another? How come women feel that men should pay them money, it's easier to just go get a real hooker face to face to give my monies to, at least I get a real sexual encounter for my money. Have not met not 1 local real genuine female on this site. So Sad!

I actually think meetlocals and fling are one in the same- or at least I hope. I signed up for 1 month with fling and after having -0- responses in weeks I decited to cancel today. Not that easy to do. So my confirmation is telling me I just cancelled meet locals. Wtf?! So anyone who knows how that could be please share. But if your a straight guy be prepared to be one in 15 guys per 1 legitimate female member Going to Safeway to find a date in the produce dept will produce better results.

They are scammers. I'm not saying that all profile are fake, but they took my money illegaly. When I've became a member of seeksluts, they activate automaticaly my account on meet locals.com, even if I had unchecked the case. Now, they don't want to refund me.
A lot of stress for nothing. Don't spend your time on those sites.

Oh, and that's not all. I was stupid enough to get into there gimmick. I was supposed again to have a message from a girl, so I sign up for a 2 days membership and it was just a notification that I've sent a message to a women previously. 15$ in a garbage can.

Meet locals is a crock of *censored* just like fling. I had 20 messages when I signed up so I payed for a membership thinking it would be worth it. What a waste of money. On the fling website you will get messages that different girls want to meet up with you. You send them messages and there is no response. I only had one response on that site and nothing came of it. Don't waste your time or money. May as well still to POF. It's free and you'll get responses and actuall hook ups with women.

I joined and received all kinds of letters and friend requests. Then I decided to try a 30 day paid membership. No messages and no friend requests. I think the site sends you messages to get you to pay. Don't waste your money!
