POF Video Chat Scam - WATCH OUT!!! 😡😡

Beware of the people who ask you to video chat. They will send u a link and when you click on it you enter your Pof username and password then it asks you to enter your credit card info. I stupidly entered my Pof site info And got to the credit card part and thought oh no. I told the person they were scamming me and I got blocked. Next thing u know they have changed my email, password and username on Pof and I can’t access my account anymore.
Over reported it to Pof and still waiting for a reply. Just lucky I didn’t enter my credit card details.
Effing scammers !!!

Soon as you reply to a like or message they try to give you their Snapchat or Kik app. Scammer POF has all these features in the app.

Never click on any external links in chat messages. They are always from scammers

Profile is an upgraded member but the location is not complete or blank. Scammer.

This is an obvious one but I'll put it in anyway.
In the headline section right below the picture or in the profile description they will tell you to Google some name and when you Google it it goes to a porno website. Scammer
I hope these posts help more and more people recognize scammers so we can help diminish their effect. It is horrible how these people play with your emotions for cash

Well I been asked about 7 times by beautiful girls to do this video chat. Not impressed with POF at the moment. What is this all scammer site??? Maybe POS should be there name.....lol

Also, I think the company that owns POF is allowing this to happen, maybe because they benefit financially? I have noticed that when I report an upgraded account, it rarely gets deleted before 5 days or more. Standard scam accounts get deleted fairly quickly, within minutes or hours. I've seen an upgraded scam account stay on the site for over a month.

I am a lady on POF and Last time I was on POF I was asked to do live video call. I tried. The person sent me 4 links then I found I had $200 deducted from my bank account. The bank would not help me.

If you are going to confront these scammers, report them first or their account will disappear and you won't be able to. They do this to protect their stolen account from being reported and deleted.

I have been getting these requests also. Thanks to everyone here for the warning. Maybe now see how long they are willing to keep texting.
