umm....not really. Take my advice and go grocery shopping more often. Your chance of meeting a woman are exponentially higher there than on a dating site.

More than half the female profiles on this site are fake! I would not recommend it at all. As previously stated above, i have sent out a ton of messages and only received 1 reply lol. It's a site for pXXn site owners to promote and that's it!

it's a toatl scam and the bank they use for clearing your funds in in Cyprus. Call your abnk and they'll tell you that. Plus their site is offline and that is a weird thing to. Tell everyone to watch this one and be sure you check your malware and virus protection

It seems that this site is really dead and scam ! Unreliable ! I'm totally disappointed with this site, especially at the moment when I want to have another for talking and dating.

BULLS**** SITE, GOT SEVERAL EMAILS FROM "SO-CALLED HOT LOCAL WOMEN". 1) U CANT RESPOND OR EVEN ADD EM AS FRIEND WITHOUT HAVING TO PAY. 2) I DONT EVER RECALL MAKING A PROFILE FOR THIS SITE, BUT YET THEY HAD MY EMAIL, BUT NO INFO OR PIC OF ME??.. YEA A SCAM SITE WITH"REAL FAKE" PROFILES... 3) HAD 2 SEND A EMAIL TO SITE TO MAKE THEM DELETE MY "SO CALLED-PROFILE" THAT I MADE TO HAVE IT DELETED..............> DELETED !.

Glad I found this thread. I was approached by what seemed to be a fairly nice girl in Facebook, and we were messaging and e-mailing and then she wanted me to join this site out of the blue. Figured something was fishy and apparently it is.

This site is definitely a scam. Dont be fooled. I put in an account under one city and then another and the same girls came up for both cities!!!! Dont waste your money on this site - there are suckers born every day don't be one of them.

yes, it seams to be a scam . There are supposed to be many ladies on here , but none of them ever
respond to me . I get get pretty many responses on most of the other sites , but none on meetlocals.
So I am not renewing . I tried to get my money back for remaining months , but they refused.

Another clue that it's a scam:
When you log in using your free membership, you immediately get a message from a girl who wants you to upload more photos. Then another one who wants to chat. Then another one who wants to email you. But you can't do any of those things unless you sign up for a paid (Silver or Gold) membership.

So, yes, I signed up. I'll admit -- I was suckered in. Paid $119.95 for an 18 month Gold membership. When I went back to check out the profiles of all the girls who had contacted me, I happened to notice that on each of their profile pages was a "Last Logged In" date. Lo and behold, none of the girls who had supposedly contacted me had even been logged in within the last two weeks, so there was NO WAY they could have contacted me. It was all just a scam.

So I emailed the site administrators and asked for my money back. They said I had to call their 1-800 number. To my surprise, someone actually answered. He said their membership fees were non-refundable, but that he'd talk to as supervisor. Within 30 seconds, he told me that they'd refunded my fees to my credit card.

And now I just log in (for free) when I want to see the occasional boob shot. But I know 99% of the messages requesting more photos, or chat, or email, are SCAMS.

STAY AWAY! AVOID!

The sad part is, there is obviously enough interest in a site like this. People like us are asking questions and are looking for a legitimate option. The meetlocals owners don't really have to scam people if they actually ran their business model correctly. Give 30 day free memberships, and as soon as a few people start scoring (or at least getting dates) then word of mouth will result in more people signing up and people actually wanting to pay to continue their membership after 30 days. There is money to be made, there is a market for this!

For ANY of these sites, realize that decent girls are there JUST to get you to sign up because they ARE AFFILIATES of THESE SITES. They get paid! not laid.

ALSO NOTE THAT MOST ALL ARE BASED OUT OF THE USA, Cyprus, St. Kitts, etc. Always look at terms, privacy, section for the location of arbitration disputes for country of site base. USA or forget it. No rules anywhere else and you will be scammed.

REALITY: Hot girls will NOT be on these sites waiting for losers like us to nail 'em. The fat one's are real though.
