Hello to Everyone,

Please take the advice of all of the WARNINGS here. No more than 10 minutes ago I was texting back and forth with a contact on POF. Her profile name was: Mil02020. It may have also bern: Mile02020. Something like that. Anyway, she gave me this story about how nice she was and mentioned that she had gone on one date from POF. I basically expressed my Congrats to her as I had no luck at all which I said to her. She eventually ask me to video with her through "POF Live Video". I said I had no idea about that, so I googled it. I saw one post not on here that said look for the Chat Button below the persons profile. Well on POF official website it does not exist. So then My eyes were drawn to this link on Google. I read the majority of these POSTS them I copied and pasted it on the conversation she and I were having. Sent it to her then sent another text to her on POF asking her "She said her real name was Chloe" Anyway, I asked her this question: "Chloe, how do you explain this"? Meaning all of the Posts here that I copied and pasted (sent to her ).

Well immediately, her ENTIRE profile and our Chain of Discussion-- meaning all of the msgs. we had sent to each other-- had VANISHED. I thought I was tripping at first but I was NOT. She meaning her ENTIRE profile was gone---disappeared--deleted--removed----gone.

So Guys: DO NOT respond to those Tricks or Schemes. I want to THANK ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR POSTs Here. Saved me from being scammed. Man I thought for a Minute there that I had finally found a Good---One. Still No Luck for me yet on POF but I am pleased to know that I did not take the bait-------An Absolute SCAM. SCAM. SCAM

I just read My Post for myself and although I didn't get scammed I had to LOL about the part that reads: Man I thought for a Minute there I finally had a Good-One! "NOT"

Don't follow any link someone sends you in messages. Not sure if they can even send you links anymore with the latest POF update.

I was just on POF the other day and they do have Live streaming which allows for group and 1 on 1 video. It is for the app only and you must tap on the heart icon with 2 3/4 circle waves to access it. Here is a pic of live and you will notice the icon at the bottom of the screen shot.

I find that when a woman has her profile that seems legit, every time they only have 1 picture of themselves, they are not legit.

Guys beware, scammers are still trying this scam. It IS NOT legit.

POF has Live Streaming built right into the app, no need to go to another site.

I'm glad us guys are watching out for each other..There is only voice chat on POF..If you get scammed just let your bank know so they can watch for unusual credit charges .We all get scammed sooner or later no diff to the real world.. Just don't take it to heart

Thanks for sharing your experience. Just now I just opened an account there and I don't see a webcam or video chat. I'm going to be more careful who I'm going to talk to because I don't want something like this to happen to me

Update on this scam, it's still going, just got hit with it yesterday 1st time & reported into my governments scamwatch website.

Hi all!
If you go to "help" on POF and enter live chat in the search box, it will give you all the details you need to enter the REAL live chat. Unfortunately, there are people sending links that are NOT from POF. Do not follow any link...only activate through POF.
