I believed the hype and went to Match.com. I have looked at sites in past and now that everyone realizes there is money to be made in on-line dating they all ask for money. I gave them my credit card yada yada and I was a member. Within 3 days I knew I had been duped. ( I had tried the 3 days free in past but you can not make contact with that service) Of course I am lead on with all the look who is checking you out etc. Out of 30 hits only ONE even met my criteria or his. I am over 50 and the men were looking for under 45, etc,. I than asked for money back. I can cancel when my 3 months is up meaning they will not charge my credit card. It really appalls me they have my credit card numbers. I will say that as most of us I hit the agree button, and that would be my own fault. Sending complaints to them is futile. I tried that. I would give them a f. and they are supposed to be one of the more reputable sites. Dr. Phil this is a black eye on you as you laugh all the way to the bank.

Agree Completely. I just finished a 30 day subscription to MATCH.COM. If we put out enough negative feedback, maybe we will start to effect their
bottom line. I sent out 107 Emails, blanket approach. 30 some of those members blocked my profile. About 8 were kind enough to say
"Thanks but no thanks", one honest reply was ligit, said that she liked my photos and then rode off in the sunset. Now, what completely frustrated
was the fact that about 40 replies I received were fake profiles that were scammers. They are taking advantage of the 3 day free per-view, and
creating a profile to make contact, have the account closed, and then try to scam everyone that they contact. I work in the IT industry, so I know
how to trace out a source IP address. Women that were responding to me, that were supposed to be located 30-60 miles in my general area
had IP address that belonged to the R.I.P.E Network that is located in Amsterdam, Netherlands. These are commonly Nigerian Scammers
that post photos of beautiful women *( desired age range 28-60 is a common indicator ) Send a couple of Emails, then indicate that they
are on the West Coast of Africia.......and spin some hard luck story about how they need money to get back to the state. People, don't buy
into Match.Com, they are allowing this. Like the previous post says, once they have your money, you are done. There are other sites. Research
before you sign up. Match.Com got a 30 day subscription from me, but that is all that they will ever get.
