Bad Silver Singles Experience

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY OR ENERGY on this site.
I paid for a premium subscription of £239.40, on the 16.04.2020, not envisioning the pandemic lastly so long.

None of my specifications were taken into consideration, chose, distance, ethnic origin, nothing. Why would l want a r'ship with some over 100miles away, when l stated 50miles at a push.
Cancelled my automatic renewal subscription on the 15.04.2021, it was due for renewal on the 16.04.2021. Got a email confirming my renewal had been cancelled.

On the 27.04.2021, received an email stating someone l'd been messaging via the site was found to be a scam/fraudulent and they were investigating. This was total, utter rubbish, as the name they gave l never recognized. It was either german or dutch, l'm not even sure, but knew nothing about this person.

29.04.2021, l receive an email stating they had made two attempts to take this premium subscription payment and because it had been declined twice, they automatically message the registered email address to the account. They're asking for me to pay them by the 07.05.2021.
They're stating, since l never gave 7 days notice, my subscription was renewed on the 17.04.2021.

THIS IS THE SCAM. They would've known l'd cancelled my automatic premium renewal subscription on the 15.04.2021, when they confirmed l'd cancelled in an email, so why renew the subscription on the day after it was due to be renewed????

I've advised them to take me to court a
nd all future attempts to take payment will also be declined, as l've notified my bank.
I did research Silversingles, not realizing some sites are paid by these companies to have fake reviews that portray them in a positive light. DON'T BE FOOLED!

I got 1 guy l didn't know, allegedly widowed with a daughter from the USA messaging me on facebook. Straightaway l realized he was a scammer and blocked him. So this site is obviously selling your details on or allowing scammers and fraudsters your details as they probably get a cut of the profits. BE ON YOUR GUARD. Robust security checks are not made on the people on this site. Photos of various landscapes as a profile picture, yet they say they don't allow these kind of pics and they must be up close so that potential suitors can see you. It's all rubbish!!

Silversingles is a scam dating service profiting on people who have realized just how lonely life is after this pandemic of lockdowns and restrictions.
